I did a walk-in on Friday. It was busy with other customers. That's a good sign. Anyway I was acknowledged and sat down to wait my turn. It did take about 20 minutes. I asked for a pedicure. During the pedicure I did request a manicure. I was happy with the outcome. The Vibe was kind of low key. There was a video on the big screen with cheerful music and beautiful island scenes. I came here about 3 years ago and absolutely loved the staff, they were sweet energetic and always made me feel I was getting my money worth. I was a loyal customer and my pedis and nails were tip top. It's been a few years with the pandemic and Job loss I hadn't been able to treat myself but mother's day I got a little spoiled so I decided to come in on a Tuesday. It wasn't busy at all. There were three middle aged gentlemen who you could tell should not be working in this field. They hate there job you can tell because my pedicure $55 was the worst pedicure I ever had, I had an ingrown toe nail and after that was taken care of I was given the smallest option for colors, and I knew they had way more selection when I wanted to opt for the magnetic or the foil on my nails they said no. I mean I never been told no with a head shake like it was beneath them to do anything but subpare work. I asked about the young couple who ran it if they were still running it but could not get an answer. When I was dissatisfied with the red I wanted a particular blood red they started talking in Vietnamese shaking there head at me. Needless to say I found the red in a different color selection that they swore they didn't have on the table by the door. They also couldn't produce me a receipt for my $55 + $60 full set with gel and I have them both a $5 tip although they didn't deserve it. I thought the prices were very high for the work they did. The attitudes were crap. I felt like my father was doing my manicures and pedicures and it was torture or for him. Needless to say I need a fill and I don't want to go in because I am not spending my money in a place that doesn't value my money. Please go back to hiring young energetic people who love servicing the community and get rid of the old men who want to just get you in and out so they can have there smoke break. So the other day I took my girl to this nail place to get her nails done. When she was done she seemed excited & was told the work & materials were guaranteed for at least a week since she got the dip nails. She seemed happy & we went on our way. The following day she came home from work & told me her nail had chipped. I told her to take a pic & send it to the business so they could know what happened. We couldnt go to Wasco that day since we live & work in Bakersfield. I figured the guy who guaranteed the work would be aware of the issue & honor a repair. Next day another nail chipped & same thing. Couldnt go to wasco. For lthe next 5 days the same thing happened. We went to wasco & she spoke with an older lady(mom I think) & was told it would get fixed without a charge so I left her there. After a few minutes I get a call from my girl telling me to go pick her up because they wanted to charge her for a full set of nails. I returned & asked a young man at the register why he was charging if he guaranteed his work & materials. He responded with a careless manner saying she needs fill ins already & she should have came back after the 1st day. I told him we live in Bakersfield & couldn't make it sooner. He didnt care about what we had to say & said he didnt care if we gave him negative online reviews. I told him just fix the broken nails & we will be ok. Long story short he said no & we left pissed off. The Wasco community needs to show this business we as customers do have an influence whether they will be successful in our town. This non caring attitude should not be left without consequences. I feel bad for the older lady because it seems like she wanted to make things right. Never again will we return as customers. I've been here many times for pedicure & manicure and most visits were good. I went in yesterday for a gel mani & gel pedi to get pampered before having a new baby, well there was no lotion leg massage, no nail file or trim to make them all straight, no hot towel, no scrub or lotion hand massage! The job on the polish was not nice, i tried to explain my complaints but it was difficult due to language barrier. However, the prices are the same and they blame the lack of services to covid. BS! There are plenty of chairs to sit in to get a pedi There isn't any decor the room is very plain but it didn't bother me. It would be nice if they had music playing in the background, because they have a tv on the back wall playing but u can't hear it. This place is hit or miss. Today was a total miss! My gel pedicure was less than 30 min. She barely scrubbed my feet, and gave no massage. She didn't clean around my nails. I picked up the price sheet and asked her to point out which pedicure I got. She made up a price that wasn't even on the list. As soon as I was done she continued on with my daughter, who was also getting a pedi. She used the same tools, and same gloves. My daughter was done in 20 min. No massage and no foot scrub. My pedicure was $45 because she charged $3 to take off my old gel polish, but asked for $2 more when I actually payed her. My daughters was $40. Total waste of money as I'm super disappointed in the service. We really went there to be pampered. The experience sucked! read more

The older man started to do my pedi charged me $5 for taking off gel, he cut my nails so wrong and didn't even bother to remove or try to take of my in grown nails!!!! I stand all day at my job I have gotten many pedicures before which take more then 30 min. My total ended up being $27 no polish to cuticle oil because it would be an extra $5 and no removing of my in grown !!! PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE DRIVE TO DELANO SPA NAILS THEY ARE THE BEST!!! Best nail experience I've had in a while. The salon looked clean and great decoration. My nail technician was really sweet, friendly, and accommodating. I showed Lucy the picture that I wanted,she looked for those exact colors and happily listened to all my adjustments. She took time to take care of my nails carefully and they came out wonderful. It was the most relaxing feeling that I can ever have and I felt like I'd been wasting time & money going to other places. My cousin and I recently went to go get our nails done (Dec 26 2017) and they did a poor job on my cousins nails. She didn't get the name of the guy with short hair and glasses. As you can see in the pictures he cut her very bad and didn't bother to cut her cuticles before apply the fake nail and to top it off she asked for coffin and that is not coffin style, he also didn't fix the paint on her nail because it was almost closing time (The picture is from the next morning). The lady I got (Chris) was very nice but she didn't apply two layers of the bottom clear coat for gel-polish that is needed when you get a mani on you real nails. I did say something about it and she said it would be fine. Not even a week later the paint starts to chip. I'm very disappointed because I have gone to other places (I always get gel-polish on my real nails) and my polish lasts up to a month or more which I love because I'm a mom and wife who always cook, cleans, gyms and etc. I give this place one star on manis, I only recommend to go to this place if you want a pedi. read more

Horrible horrible place! I don't recommend it AT ALL! First of all their sign says they open at 10:00 on saturdays well I got there at 9:50 waited 20 minutes before calling the number on the window, I asked where they were at they said by Taco Bell mind you Taco Bell is right in front of their nail salon another 20 minutes go by I call the number again, and they claim to be 3 minutes away FINALLY after another 30 minutes THEY FINALLY GET THERE!!! I asked if the group of ladies and I that were there waiting for the longest can receive a discount "the owner" says no so I decided to stay anyway mind you I was the second person to get there so I wait ANOTHER 30 minutes in the chair and still get no one to attend to me!!! So I finally just leave. This place is horrible and very unprofessional.
