Over the last few years I've visited this establishment a couple of times, and always had a pleasant experience. My friend invited me out this evening for a drink to catch up, and so grateful they were open on Memorial Day. The gentleman at the bar was incredibly friendly and provided amazing service though I know it was later in the evening. Love the atmosphere of the establishment and the comfort to relax with loved ones to sip and converse. I'll definitely return and recommend as a cozy place to grab a drink!

The staff was super nice and very on top of helping us! They were knowledgeable on their beer and wine selections. If you are looking for a place with some good sours they definitely had them! It was a little more quiet atmosphere when we went. We got to enjoy playing some board games. I do have to say the food was a little lack luster. We had ordered a panini and it was partly burnt (we were pretty hungry and didn't bother the server with this). We also ordered a pizza and that was undercooked (pretty doughy) We did let the server know about the pizza and they made us a new one. However, that one was still a little under cooked. We ended up taking that home and just cooking it in the oven. The flavor was good but not anything to go crazy over. I would absolutely recommend them for their drinks and service! I however, wouldn't recommend their food.

This place is a cute and cozy wine and beer bar. I am not a bar person but went in to meet a friend to catch up a little and had an enjoyable experience. The ambiance is dark and quaint, perfect for a casual hang out or a cozy date. Service is super friendly, menus are big menu boards all over walls. Simple and cute.

Stopped in last night for a couple of beers, after being out of the valley about 18 months. Same as I was accustom to.... busy enough but not packed. The two lovely owners around and then behind the bar. Their delightful staff being attentive and knowledgeable. Divided Vine will never disappoint and always hit the mark!! I've been hanging out at The Divided Vine a few times a week, while my kids are at math tutoring in the same plaza. From my first visit, I knew this was a very special place. They have one wall with the beer menu and the opposite wall has their wine, mead, port and sake. They regularly introduce new selections and they ALWAYS have something yummy, no matter your preference. Beyond being an awesome spot to find a new favorite, it's also a very chill vibe and the staff are phenomenal! When (not if) you go, you'll probably run into Clayton and Jeff, the owners, as well as Rico and Luke, two of my favorite bartenders. You'll mix with newbies and regulars and it feels like a place I can call, 'my bar'. I seriously love it here! If you come in the afternoon, you might catch me 'officing' with my laptop and favorite seasonal beer. Hope to see you soon! Definitely worth checking out! Cheers!

I really liked this place... The variety of drinks, the ambiance of the bar, and the staff. However after receiving an extremely hefty tab after having a few drinks with my wife I discovered we ended up getting charged about $12 more than we thought due to a technicality. When we got there we specifically mentioned that we were there for happy hour and my wife started ordering a tasty cider. Unfortunately, her drinks come in a smaller glass and didn't qualify as a 16oz pint which gets the discount. It's fine to have specific rules for happy hour specials, but I feel that if a staff member thinks a customer might not understand their rules.. they should say something. Also.. the Diablo popcorn is absolutely intolerable... If you have a heart condition do not even look at anyone else eating it because you'll OD on sodium. read more

This place is awesome. We live nearby so my husband and I stopped in for a quick drink Saturday night. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by Clayton, one of the owners. He asked us what kind of beers we like and made some recommendations from their extensive beer list. We tried some of the maple garlic popcorn as a snack and it was delicious. Two thumbs up! Five stars! Whatever you want to say! But this place is wonderful. It's not too small, but not so big either. It's hidden but well worth the find. The beer selection is great. Mostly craft beers that you'll be able to find what you're looking for. It also has an amazing wine selection. The hand pies are like mini hot pockets or pot pies. I wish that I could give our beloved "DV"'more stars. Clayton, Jeff , Emily and the rest of the awesome staff have brought an incredible place to Gilbert. They make you feel like you are part of their family. They have incredible knowledge of their beer and wine, and we love to hear them describe the flavors and how everything tastes! First visit tonight. LOVED IT. Simple bar with a limited food menu that really highlights the amazing selection of beers and wines. Our party tried many (don't judge!) selections from both menus and enjoyed them all. I had a Riesling and the blueberry cider. Both were home runs! The blueberry cider was like a liquid pie. Next time, I'm definitely looking for the peanut butter stout--my friend had it was is was awesome, like a peanut butter cup melted in glass. The barkeeps take good care of you but are never intrusive. My husband and I have bemoaned the lack of a good neighborhood bar since we moved to the area; Divided Vine fills that void splendidly! read more

Went last weekend on a Saturday night around 9:00 the place was pretty busy seems like a place a lot of younger people hang out. Music is really loud. Staff was friendly. Lots of beer and wine to choose from but very overpriced in my opinion. Glasses of wine are around $13. At least now I can say we tried it, but I'll go elsewhere. read more

I love the atmosphere. It's very quaint, but it's whatever you want to make it. The small menu is great for just something to pick on while you're enjoying your 36 choices of beer or your 30+ choices of wine. We've had a few recommendations from the owner and bartender and haven't been let down yet. These guys know their stuff. My wife couldn't remember what she ordered, so the owner came by, swirled the class, smelled it and knew right away and got her another glass. Know your product, love your craft. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

I really think this is the best beer bar in the East valley. The beer selection is always excellent, and they tend to feature Arizona brewed beers. The service is consistently great, and they do a great job learning the names and faces of repeat customers. They feature live music on Thursdays and often host tap takeovers. The food menu is limited but the empenadas are delicious. If this place was within walking distance, I'd be in trouble. read more

I love this place! Every single person I have interacted with that works here has been an absolute pleasure. I appreciate a place that I can wear a ball cap or a dress and feel right at home when I walk through the door. I really hesitate to tell you all how great this place is because I selfishly want it all to myself. This is one of those bars that just feels right and I give all the credit to the owners, Jeff, Emily and Clayton. I want to believe that they are so friendly because they just like me a lot, but the truth is that you will receive the same treatment. And I guarantee, even if you are a beer snob or a picky wine drinker, you will find more than one option here. The drink menu is endless and the owners are adept at finding something you will like, even with limited guidance such as "I don't like fruit". Ok, I've done my duty in telling the truth and allowing everyone else to enjoy this place too. :) read more

One important note: I hate beer. I don't even like seltzers you'd get in a can that much. Cocktails and mixed drinks are my go-to. However, I do like ciders and my mom likes meads, which means she thinks I'd like meads as well. Anyway, we arrived around 5 on a Friday and the place was smaller than I expected, and not very crowded at all. There was only one bartender and he wasn't busy when we sat down at the bar, meaning he was very friendly and attentive. I like anything fruity and/or sour, so when I saw the sour gummy candy drink, I knew I had to try a sample. Not surprisingly, it wasn't as amazing as I expected. I then tried a sample of this honey pear cider, and it was a little better than the sour gummy candy drink. My mom ordered a 5 oz of the other flavor we were eyeing: the key lime pie cider. That was the best cider we had tried. The mead flavors all looked intriguing, but I just didn't feel right spending $11 on a drink that I didn't even know if I'd like (since you can't sample meads). If I was feeling more adventurous, I would have gotten the pb&j mead, but I opted for a prickly pear and vodka lemonade. I watched the bartender make it and he poured quite a hefty amount of vodka in the glass. I wasn't complaining one bit (my mom was scared though lol). Upon tasting it, it wasn't the best mixed drink ever, but it was strong and went down easy. Plus, it was a better price than these $16 cocktails you see at all restaurants nowadays. My dad got the moose drool brown ale and I hated it whereas he liked it. It was a nice, clean place with just the perfect temperature air conditioning, and the happy hour time range is honestly amazing if you're like us and prefer to go out early and be home for the rest of the night. Also, sick merch. It was giving Game of Thrones (hence the dragon name haha).

We had such an amazing night at Divided Vine! The service was absolutely top-notch--staff were incredibly attentive, constantly checking in to make sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. We started with a bottle of the Catalina Sounds Sauvignon Blanc--crisp and refreshing. For food, we ordered the garlic chicken pizza and WOW, it was so good I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture. Seriously, don't miss it. The staff was great about letting us taste different wines. I tried the Love You Bunches Rosé/Pinot Noir blend, but it wasn't quite my thing. I asked for a Pinot Noir that was more like dessert, and the bartender nailed it with the La Fou Pinot Noir. It was rich, smooth, and exactly what I was hoping for. We came out for the live music and were blown away by Josh Blitx and Charlie Rehder--they were the absolute highlight of the night!
