I've been wanting to stop by Garage-East after sampling their wine at an event I had went to. It's…read morefamily owned & their vineyards are in Arizona! I'm def a wine enthusiast & enjoyed many wineries while living in CA so I am excited to explore the AZ scene. Staff was helpful in choosing some wines and answering any questions on the wine. We were helped by the lovely Danielle & Sarah which were super personable our whole visit. We started with a board and a bottle The board was so yummy & perfect for 2 for sharing, the cheeses on this board went well together and I think my favorite item on the board were the pickles they were unlike any other pickles I've ever tasted before really tickled my tastebuds. I was able to sample the rose & the Pinot noir & ended up ordering a glass of that as well. It was the last night for live music & im glad we were able to experience it because it will not be back till September due to the weather! They have indoor & outdoor seating, we started inside & ended outside. I will def be back to try their other wines! Thanks for such a fun time.

We ordered at the counter, and the food was later brought to us. I got the Brioche Breakfast Sammy (scrambled egg, spicy ham, arugula, tomato, + herbed cheese on a house-made brioche bun). It was smaller than I expected, but the taste was great and the portion size turned out to be just right for me. My sandwich also came with a side of two fresh strawberries. I didn't know it would, so that was a surprise. I also ordered the pineapple matcha, which was refreshing and a great drink for summer. My friend got the Egg Sammy (scrambled egg and cheese) with Noble sourdough. It looked really good, and she gobbled it right up. Overall it was a good meal, and I would definitely be back. I want to try their breakfast wine next time.

Kinda bummed... I…read morecannot really review this place because as soon as we walked in--we walked right in front of people playing live music. It's not a very large establishment to cram live entertainment inside (IMO) and we stood inside for 5 mins and just had to leave. It was hard to talk to my fiance or have any conversation. To be fair there was seating outside. They have misters but when you want a couple of cold ones with your significant other to unwind from the week--this unfortunately wasn't the move for us today. Reviewing the tap menu they have some promising options so one day we will try to come back on a chill day to finally give this place a try.

My parents had been here a couple times over the years and seemed to enjoy their selection over…read moreother tap rooms they'd visited. So, they took me here one Friday evening to try it out. One important note: I hate beer. I don't even like seltzers you'd get in a can that much. Cocktails and mixed drinks are my go-to. However, I do like ciders and my mom likes meads, which means she thinks I'd like meads as well. Anyway, we arrived around 5 on a Friday and the place was smaller than I expected, and not very crowded at all. There was only one bartender and he wasn't busy when we sat down at the bar, meaning he was very friendly and attentive. I like anything fruity and/or sour, so when I saw the sour gummy candy drink, I knew I had to try a sample. Not surprisingly, it wasn't as amazing as I expected. I then tried a sample of this honey pear cider, and it was a little better than the sour gummy candy drink. My mom ordered a 5 oz of the other flavor we were eyeing: the key lime pie cider. That was the best cider we had tried. The mead flavors all looked intriguing, but I just didn't feel right spending $11 on a drink that I didn't even know if I'd like (since you can't sample meads). If I was feeling more adventurous, I would have gotten the pb&j mead, but I opted for a prickly pear and vodka lemonade. I watched the bartender make it and he poured quite a hefty amount of vodka in the glass. I wasn't complaining one bit (my mom was scared though lol). Upon tasting it, it wasn't the best mixed drink ever, but it was strong and went down easy. Plus, it was a better price than these $16 cocktails you see at all restaurants nowadays. My dad got the moose drool brown ale and I hated it whereas he liked it. It was a nice, clean place with just the perfect temperature air conditioning, and the happy hour time range is honestly amazing if you're like us and prefer to go out early and be home for the rest of the night. Also, sick merch. It was giving Game of Thrones (hence the dragon name haha).

Since I came for lunch, it was a little early for that! Our server was excellent. He gave us honest recommendations and was very attentive. He even rushed out to give me my phone when I accidentally tried to leave it at the table. Super genuine and knew the menu well. The food was delicious. The seafood bisque was creamy and thick with large chunks of seafood. We added the chicken lettuce wraps appetizers and this is definitely meant to be shared. Huge! I had the Parmesan crusted chicken for my entrée. Perfectly butterflied, great crunch on the crust and served with yummy mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. I think the menu reads as pretty basic, but the flavor and preparation made the meal. I will definitely be coming back again sometime in the future.

I wish I could remember cause he was PHENOMENAL!!! I came in as the classic "pain in the *ss with all dietary restrictions and modification requests" and wow was he able to answer every question and provide alternatives for me! I came in with both celiac and low fod map (food elimination). Upon sitting and taking drink orders, he also offered a gluten free bread for me to enjoy with my family while we looked over the menu. BEST GLUTEN FREE BREAD IVE EVER HAD! Must be made with rice flour or something because it was soft with a little bounce, versus the usual "dry and grainy" we are used to. Id fly back across the country again just for that bread honestly. Even if youre not gluten free, ask for it. AANNDDDD this is a scratch kitchen!! I was able to look over the GLUTEN FREE MENU!! And pretty much come up with a "diy" salmon entree. To say this place is phenomenal is an UNDERSTATEMENT. The staff, the food, the menu options... all just amazing. I will say it gets a little annoying when they try to push their wine membership, but whatever! Its like sitting thru a timeshare pitch to get to enjoy everything else.. sit thru the wine pitch and ENJOY your evening because OMG is this place phenomenal!!!!!

The happy hour was great atmosphere is great ...I was so excited.. I was totally shocked!! The atmosphere was very classy , the onyx bar was beautiful . The bartender Jake was a doll, very personable and professional. The Happy Hour menu had a good variety of different types of food and good prices. I got the whipped feta.... it was decadent!!!! The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.
