Their customer service has gone a step beyond in making sure everything was working as it should, adjusting where the installer didn't do quite everything perfectly. Jan saw to it the design was implemented as we planned and kept me in the loop when I was unable to be on sight. She went to the job site to make sure it was all going according to plan! After installation, Joe came out and made all the adjustments necessary to make sure all reveals were exact, hinges aligned as they should and all the openers/ closers worked perfectly. The quality of Avalon's product is top notch. The fact it was manufactured locally is even better. (If you have the opportunity to visit the manufacturing facility, you WILL BE IMPRESSED!) I could not be happier with both the experience AND the product. Jan was really great to work with, helping to provide a seamless design from inception through installation. Avalon is not your mom's cabinet maker - they can compete with the best for design, options and product!! Highly recommended. A+

Their showroom is beautifully curated and showcases an incredible range of lighting, hardware, and plumbing fixtures. Everything from stunning kitchen faucets and sinks to bath fixtures, shower systems, and some of the most gorgeous decorative hardware. They also offer wellness products like saunas and steam, all under one roof. I incorporated several of Ultra's light fixtures into a showroom I recently designed, and they were absolute standouts. The quality, aesthetic, and pricing are exceptional, and having the ability to see so many of their products installed throughout the IDC building gives designers such a helpful "real-world" perspective. Beyond the product selection, the team is knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely hands-on. Whether in the showroom or the warehouse, every experience has been organized, attentive, and incredibly supportive. I highly recommend Ultra Design Center to anyone working in the design or construction space!

I'm very happy we shopped around some more. Lori was quick to respond and get an in-home estimate scheduled. She thoroughly explained all the options and what would look best to get our 1980's kitchen a bit more modern. They have a wide selection of styles and finishes to choose from. I was amazed at the difference in prices between the quotes. Not only a bunch (~50% cheaper), but better quality all around. It took two full days and only a couple hours on the third day to get everything installed. Allen is a true craftsman. He pointed out issues with the existing cabinets and was quick to fix them. Every step of the way he kept us informed. His attention to detail was astonishing. Items I would have never considered, such as the way the cabinets should open and putting in hinge stops to prevent the doors from running into other cabinets. Very careful and respectful of our entire house. Super friendly and was sure to clean up each day. I can't praise Home Improvements of Colorado enough. I always felt I could email them with any questions prior to the installation and they would get right back to me. Don't look any further. If you want the best, this is the only place you need to call.

They operate…read moreon "banking hours", so getting there after work or from outside the 10-mile radius of Denver is very hard. Those of us coming from Longmont or Boulder, who have to deal with rush hour traffic after 3pm, find it almost impossible to get there unless we leave in the middle of the day. That's not usually possible for those of us who work for a living! They close at 4pm (5pm officially, but you can't get anything cut after 4pm), and Noon on Saturdays. Of course, they won't cut sheet goods at all (unlike Home Depot), so that's never an option unless you have the ability to carry 4x8 sheets. All in all, they act as if I'm doing THEM a favor by buying from them. I DREAD going all the way down there and only do it when I have no other choice. It's MUCH easier to go to and work with Rockler, even though they are further away from Boulder, because they actually want my business (unlike Austin). Austin Hardwoods would be so much more successful if they adapted a more customer centric approach. I guess they don't need (or want) the business from non-contractors.

After disappointing experiences with a number of other fabricators over the last few years (oh, the…read morestories!), DMK Marble & Granite was finally recommended to me by trusted friends who had just completed a project with them. After initially encountering a few minor hiccups, Daniel, the owner, escalated my small, but detail-oriented projects and began to oversee them personally. From that point forward, everything moved quickly and smoothly with excellent communications and a beautiful end result. I quickly learned that Daniel and his fabrication team are highly skilled, honest and upfront about everything (from what is possible, to timing, scheduling and pricing), and most of all, they stayed on top of the process from beginning to end. Their collective attention to detail, precise measurements, extra care while inside my home, and competitive pricing were also critical to me. As a result, I can confidently recommend DMK to anyone with quartz or stone projects large or small. (The word "integrity" comes to mind.) Not only is their team of fabricators and designers highly experienced, they are creative, talented and honest too--not an easy combination to find today. Bottom line? They earnestly strive to do a great job, take great pride in their work, and go the extra mile to make sure your projects are not only done well, but that you are thrilled with the results. I know I am, and look forward to not only recommending them to others, but working with them again. Choose carefully. These projects are pricey and an investment you will live with for a long time. Pick a fabricator you can trust. You won't regret choosing DMK! (A special thanks to Daniel, Ben, Dimitri, Alex, Vadim and all the others who were involved in making this a smooth, affordable, fun and pleasant experience that resulted in a number of stunning upgrades to my artful home!)
