From what I can tell you have to be a friend/on first name basis to feel welcome, otherwise it feels like you're interrupting social hour. I saw something on their outdoor display area when I was leaving Lucky's and went in to check it out. It was what I had thought about to solve a yard problem, it was on sale and worked out well. I haven't felt this at-home since Thanksgiving '98 when Grandpa and I road a tandem bicycle to Olive Garden and filled our bellies to the brim with bottomless salad and breadsticks! (He's passed away now - gluten allergy) When walking into the store, you may shed a tear, because at this Ace hardware, you're family.
