I"ve always wantsd to scuba dive and I am so thankful that I found No Limis Scuba in a Google…read moresearch. The No Limits staff were nothing but helpful and informative throughout the booking day before_of process. I was able to sign up for a beginner class in the pool for just $35, which was amazing and so worth it. Unfortunately I entered in the incorrect address for the pool and ended up arriving almost 15 minutes late. The instructor told me that it was just me in the course and so I could reach out to the office to reschedule. I told him this was no problem and then I asked if I could still swim? He told me that I could and I am so glad that I waited as one of the instructors, Chris, was available to help me. He gave me a one on one class on how to put on my gear and scuba dive. Scuba diving is not pretty as you got stuff coming out of your nose and mouth, but it is pretty and calming when you are underwater breathing and the rest of the world seems so far away. I loved every minute of this experience especially once I got used to breathing through my mouth and holding my nose to let my ears pop. I swam in seven feet plus, which was difficult at times, so I love that Chris was happy to have me swim in the shallower 4 feet. Chris waa super kind, patient, and fun; I really appreciate his time!! I definitely want to get certified as I want to do this more and more. Most likely due to time and funds it wont be until the fall, but I will be back! Thank you!

She is Knowledgeable and she never pushes any sales in us. I've also been helped by Brittany via email and she has been responsive, timely and helpful! A few of my friends have completed their open water with them and had great experiences. I've done some cute holiday underwater photo shoots with them and done refreshers with them. I'm about to do my advanced open water course with them and am looking forward to it!

I honestly have no clue what some of these past reviewers are talking about. My husband and I have…read moredone all but our lake dive (which is scheduled for tomorrow morning) with Rick for our initial PADI certification and he has been great! We work a super hectic schedule as health care providers and parenting 2 busy children yet Rick made sure we'd be certified in a timely manner and worked with our schedule. He made sure we thoroughly understood all of the concepts prior to our first pool dive which went very well. My husband and I were joined by another male and female for our pool dive. Rick took his time with each of us. He taught us the skill and watched us perform it while providing corrections if necessary. NOT ONCE did I feel put down or belittled. Rick takes pride in his classes and store and empowers his students. That being said, scuba diving puts you in a primitive surrounding. We, as humans, are not meant to breathe underwater; I want to be safe. I'd rather be corrected on my skills in a pool than drown in the ocean. I respect Rick as he is very knowledgable and experienced- he ensures you will be safe underwater. Honestly, I feel as if the prior reviews written by offended males must have been from insecure little men. Rick was nothing but understanding, caring, patient and compassionate with not only my husband and I; but the other 2 people who joined us on our pool dive. Thanks Rick!

This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The other negative reviews you read on this shop are…read moreunfortunately accurate. Rick, the owner has a wealth of knowledge about diving, but shoots himself in the foot every opportunity he gets. He seems to have developed a habit of cutting corners when teaching new divers. He's very moody and at times talks down to his students. He's also inappropriate with women and brings up politics when he's teaching. If you choose to use Scottsdale Scuba, beware of the bipolar bear, better yet go somewhere else.

Not sure what to expect, I was greeted by a very friendly staff and students who already were certified or on their way to more advanced classes. After some introduction safety videos in the classroom and signing a bunch of release forms I got all the help I needed to prepare for some time in the pool. I forgot to bring a T shirt but fortunately the equipment did not bother my back. The mask provided fit me perfectly and I managed to get into the borrowed fins. The initial equipment test and first underwater experience was not as scary as I feared thanks to a great instructor. With multiple fellow divers and instructors assisting me I got plenty of time in the water exploring part of a three dimensional world I never really had experienced before. Although living over 2 hours away I very much look forward to continue with certification classes when back in the area this fall. Thank you for making my first scuba experience excellent. You really know what you are doing and have a great way of teaching.
