We did not have a great experience with Spinitar, even though we were willing to pay for it and we…read morehad every reason to expect it. Our goal was to install and implement livestream technology for our church services. Spinitar assured us that they could do this for us, and because they are right down the street in La Mirada, they'd be able to support us. Our initial concerns arose with a delay in implementation, which we tried to take in stride given our own delays with funding, shipping containers backed up, etc. But then it seemed that we never dealt with the same person twice. A chain of planners and engineers came through, each promising to bring our project to fruition. When there was finally a project planner, our volunteer had to train her on how to be a project planner, as we were not receiving daily status updates. Then we realized that they did not really know how to operate the Vaddio camera equipment or livestream equipment that they had installed. One kind and knowledgeable engineer, Chien, returned to assist us as best he could, but it turned out that no one at this national A/V company knew how to get us across the finish line. Several months later, with the help of other pastors and tech teams, we have figured it out. I am not able to recommend Spinitar to other churches who are trying to upgrade their systems or add livestream capability.

PC Helper Team saved me from a very serious security breach, and I cannot recommend them highly…read moreenough. On July 14, I suddenly couldn't log in to my credit union's app. At the same time, I saw notifications about verification emails from my credit union -- but those emails didn't appear in my Gmail app. When I called the credit union, they informed me that someone had attempted to add a fraudulent external account from Green Dot Bank. As they put it, "The credit union determined this was suspicious activity and restricted online access to my account." No money was taken, but they required me to create a new email address and have all my devices checked for malware before restoring access. I first visited another technician who was pleasant but whose investigation didn't leave me confident. So I sought a second opinion -- and that's when I found PC Helper Team. Soroush returned my call within ten minutes and invited me to their Westwood Blvd office. Hector checked my iPhone immediately and confirmed it was clean, then kept my iPad and computer for a deeper analysis. Within a day or two, Soroush contacted me with the real cause of the breach: I had unknowingly clicked on a fake Evite invitation that led to a fake Google verification page. I entered my Google credentials without noticing the red "Dangerous" warning or the incorrect web address. It looked like a legitimate Evite link -- and even with my banking background and years of training, I fell for it. See the image below. PC Helper also discovered that the perpetrator accessed my American Airlines AAdvantage account and converted 20,000 miles into Lululemon gift cards. Thankfully, it wasn't worse. What sets PC Helper apart is that they didn't just diagnose the problem -- they explained exactly what happened, walked me through securing my accounts, and gave me clear instructions to prevent future attacks. As I wrote in my notes, "Because they found what actually happened and provided detailed instructions... I am able to sleep at night." Thank you, Soroush and Hector. Your professionalism, thoroughness, and kindness made all the difference.

I called Soroush, talked about what was going on, and brought the laptop in. I thought it could be a battery issue, but the diagnostic he did ruled that out. Things pointed to it being a possible motherboard problem. It would take time to identify, so I left my laptop with them so they could work on it. They offered me a loaner laptop in the meantime to help me out, which was nice. Fortunately, I had a backup laptop at home. Soroush contacted me after he was done, and explained to me what happened. Turns out that one of the many components had overheated and burned. I didn't want to proceed with a full repair, but was glad Soroush was able to pinpoint the problem and be so thorough. Was also grateful that after all the work he did, he didn't charge me! Will go back in the future if I need more PC help
