The District M Bar inside of The Row really nice and upscale and the bar also has a menu so check it out while in Time Square.

Chic cafe for a great quick breakfast or cup of coffee. I stopped in on a Saturday morning for a quick breakfast before work. I didn't realize it was there due to its location in the hotel's entrance in spite of being in that area quite often. There was no line and hardly anyone there and plenty of seating since it also seemed to double as a part of the lobby. The coffee was really good and the breakfast sandwich was clearly pre-made, but used high quality ingredients and reheated well. This would be a great place to meet for a coffee meeting/date or just to stop by and relax for a bit.

It is inside the Row NYC formerly known as the Milford. That is why it is called district M? and M on the curtain? They serve continental breakfast with croissant from Payard and other famous bakeries. Cool lounge at night. You can watch CNN and other sport events on the projected screen on the big wall.

rude and unhelpful server . Works the Tuesday night shift , Latin chic.. I went to a whole new hotel bar to get away from her and that attitude

LIVE MUSIC - District M Bar inside Row Hotel NYC. Most Thursdays you can groove with Timatha & Her TKO R&B Band www.timatha.com

Live Music and no cover charge in their bar! Timatha & Her TKO R&B Band kept us grooving all night to songs from Earth, Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Tina Turner and more! A great place to go for cool nightlife in Times Square! Food is available too... Beautiful, swanky bar with candles and large artistic slide show too. Update: St. Patrick's Day bar party with Live Music Thursday March 17, 2016 8:30pm - 11:30pm with green drinks, party favors, and dancing!

District M is in the south end of the new RowNYC hotel. Formerly the Milford Plaza hotel. Fleur Seule performs VINTAGE JAZZ WEDNESDAYS AT ROW NYC in the lobby bar District M. Bring your appetite and your dancing shoes! 6:30-10:30PM. NO COVER. We sat in club chairs in the lobby and ordered thin crust Margherita pizzas and beer. We danced swing, Lindy hop and cha-cha, while tourists buzzed about lounging and taking photos. There is an open seating area facing the street, it is like a stair-stepped pyramid, you can lounge by the windows, and the band was arranged facing the interior of the bar. There was also a quieter side room on the south end. This looks like a great place to meet friends in the theater district. You can also sit at the bar. There is a great international magazine shop on the east wall behind the central elevator bank, featuring fashion magazines. The public restroom is modern and clean. Thanks for the hospitality.

The absolute best pizza. You can have it with a great but reasonably priced glass of wine in a fun New York environment!

It was my first time there but I was expecting the menu I saw online, not this new one. We tried 2 drinks: one inspired by Turkish figs and one inspired by lemons and the "Miracle Berry", which inverts your palate and turns sour into sweet! I really enjoyed both drinks. The figs one came with a sweet fig granola bite and the lemon one really did taste sweet after eating the "Miracle Berry"! I'd definitely come back to try their many other drinks.

I liked how they organized the menu by country/geography to facilitate an understanding of the flavor profiles. I got two of the date & fig-flavored smoked whisky drinks and it was a well made, balanced, and very good. Not cheap at some $25 or something, but middle of Manhattan with some creative ingredients means I guess it is what it is. Servers seemed a bit annoyed to have to deal with us shortly before close as I think they were hoping to usher people out and close down maybe a little early. One the one hand I get it, on the other hand you've got two paying customers on a slow night.

The unmarked entrance and doorbell immediately set the tone, and once inside it feels like you stepped out of Manhattan and into a dark, old New York cocktail lounge. The velvet seating, curtains, low lighting, and little private nooks make the whole place feel intimate without being gimmicky. That atmosphere is very much intentional. The Chelsea location is the original Raines Law Room and is built around that hidden speakeasy experience. The cocktails were beautifully presented, and I liked that this felt like a place where you could actually sit with friends and have a conversation rather than compete with loud music. We also ordered some meat, cheese, olives, and crackers for the table, which was perfect alongside the drinks without turning the night into a full dinner. What stood out most to me was how cohesive everything felt. The drinks, glassware, lighting, service style, and decor all fit the same mood. It feels refined and special without trying too hard. Pay special attention to the bathroom wall art. Definitely not an inexpensive night out, but for a true New York cocktail bar experience, I thought Raines Law Room was absolutely worth visiting. This would be especially good for a date night or drinks with a small group.

Patent Pending is has such cool speakeasy vibes, think dimmed lighting and candles at each table in a very intimate space. Our plan was to get wine and a cheese board however, the kitchen was closed due to a family emergency. We could only order chips or bar nuts with our drinks. Disappointing but what can you do? We ordered both the chips and bar nuts to go along with our drinks. And instead of wine, I opted for a cocktail! They have a pretty extensive cocktail menu with all these crazy concoctions. I went for the Strange Magic which was citrusy and refreshing. I'll definitely be back to visit again and hopefully next time will get the cheese board :)

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

Now the not so good. We had a reservation. We arrived on time. And we were told the people before us were still hanging out at our table. Cool, so what exactly did we reserve? We waited forever. If you take reservations and serve food, a time limit on tables is not a wild concept. Other restaurants figured this out ages ago. Meanwhile the poor host has to break this news to guests over and over, which is not their fault. Change the policy. Thats a policy problem, not a staff problem. The saving grace? The bar. We ended up waiting there FOREVER and the drinks were fab and the bartenders were great. They deserve better than the reservation policy they're working with. Come for the cocktails. Maybe don't count on your reservation meaning anything.
