When today for lunch. Originally want to be seated in the outside loft but decided to be seated indoors. Our waitress was so nice! Our cocktails came out timely and were awesome. I had their garlic parmigiana wings and were delicious, My wife had their Pok Nacho and so good. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Looking forward to our next visit!

Stopped here for a quick bite which was good bar food. They had all the regulars items so there is something for everyone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat upstairs and outside which was a nice vibe plus they had music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the singer Miranda Madison. She had a smooth silky voice singing old school classics which was amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely be back especially if she is there adding to the ambience.

I have been wanting to come to District for a while now and based on the Yelp reviews, so glad I did make the choice to stop by. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First off the restaurant has an amazing view being that it's a two story in the downtown Ocala area it definitely stands out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat on the first floor which was super casual and so nice with the breeze.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter (don't remember her name) in addition to the waiter who took over, Pablo were very helpful. For starters, the cocktails. I ordered a spicy guava margarita which was super refreshing and delicious. It has a sweet but slight kick from the jalapeno and my rim was lined with Tajin. I really enjoyed this drink and would get again. For my late lunch, I went with the infamous District burger. This burger is huge! It comes with 2 quarter pound smashburgers, cheese, sweet heat pickles, garlic aioli, and caramelized onions. It was so good - I finally get to see what why it's a standout item. Every part of the burger compliments each other so well, from the juicy patties, the aioli, and sweet pickles. I ordered the chips as my side as I wanted to try them out and wow you can tell they are cooked in house. They're not greasy at all although I did have some burnt/darker chips in my batch. Overall, it was a great experience and service and I look forward to coming back to try out their brunch and other cocktails.

Hostess and manager were very accommodating! We sat for 10 minutes without a server and they were dead; I subtracted a star for that alone. She also never really improved. BlackBerry margarita was great; cheese curds, fantastic!!! Burgers were juicy and chips and dip yummy. Server never checked on us and was hard to find. Thank God the food was good and the food runners helpful.

Been here a couple of years and remembered the roof top bar, so we decided to give it another try. We walked in and requested to sit upstairs. The host said to walk right up the stairs. We got to the top and the host up there said, "ugh, you guys are coming up?" Took a deep breath and walked us to our table like we were interrupting her break. Thankfully, she wasn't our service. Javi, this place's saving grace was the opposite. He was very nice and friendly, and made sure our drinks were never empty. We got pints of the Guinness' and shared the Ruben sandwich. Food was excellent. Price was OK.

We had a girls night! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Arrived around 8pm unfortunately they had the upstairs outdoor area closed. So we sat downstairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hostess was super sweet and very helpful! Our waiter was patient and even got our checks correct! The food was sooo good! The pepperoni pizza was different than the last time but it still tasted good! The cheese curds were AMAZING! And the fries were crispy:) I ordered the rum drink in special it was $14, but it was yummy!

Delicious food. Great atmosphere and environment. Our service wasn't the best this time. She seemed overwhelmed and we were charged for the birthday slice for my mom. Other than that, I think they have great chefs. This was my second visit, and the first visit was for a private event and it was all around great; therefore, I'd recommend.

We went on a Saturday afternoon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was quaint and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was friendly and attentive. They recommended specific dishes and beverages. The food was delicious as everything tasted fresh. The melody of flavors was refreshing and we plan on going back soon. Highly recommended!

This is my second time here and this time it was for brunch on a Sunday. I was so hungry that I forgot to take photos. We sat on the rooftop. We split a burger and the hot honey chicken. Both were excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the manager who put a tennis match on one of the TVs for us. She had to troubleshoot how to get it on the TV and we so appreciated that she took the time to get the match on for us! Whenever I'm in Ocala I will always suggest this as a spot for food and or drinks!

Always searching for a roof top bar. There should always be a mandatory roof top restaurant in every downtown. It's only on the 2nd floor but I'll take it. It's September and it's beautiful outside. We set at the high top table along side the railing. There is a bar with TVs if that's what you prefer instead. The menu has a great selection. Nothing better than having them provide a Fall themed drink. I ordered the pumpkin espresso. My answer is always yes, in any way shape or form. 10/10. They also had a fall version of an old fashion that was so good that we had two. 10/10. Our food options.... Chicken wings dry rub-9/10 I do like how they have the option of dry rub or if you want it wet and then there's choices for that. The options are endless. Parmesan truffle fries with dipping sauce. 10/10 the fries are thinly sliced with the right amount of crunch. Cheesy grits-10/10. It was the perfect texture with the perfect amount of cheese. The best announcement yet... they have blueberry beer. Hard to find at any restaurant. This restaurant literally checks every box. This would be my number one recommendation in visiting Ocala.

My brother- and sister-in-law raved about the burgers at District Bar and Kitchen, so we had to try them when we visited Ocala. The burgers were delicious and melt-in-your-mouth, and they were served with homemade chips and a very tasty aioli. We sat on the upper level of the restaurant with a nice view of the square below. The staff couldn't have been nicer. A great experience overall.

Stopped here for lunch on way home from Tallahassee. Read the reviews and glad we stopped her. Very nice restaurant with a second floor and outside dinning on both floors. Very nice lunch menu with 4 items for $12. PERSONAL PIZZA,SINGLE SMASH BURGER, WINGS, OR SHRIMP TACOS . All Lunches Come with Choice of District Chips w/ Malt Vinegar Aioli, Side Garden Salad, or Side Caesar Salad. I chose the wings, (8) Jumbo Wings with Choice of Sauce or Dry Rub, carrots and celery sticks. Nice size and very good Started with the Garden salad. My buddy tried the SHRIMP TACOS (2), BLACKENED Jumbo Shrimp, Street Corn, Cotija Cheese, Pickled Red Onion, Wasabi Avocado Creme, Lime, and Cilantro on a Flour Tortilla. he really enjoyed it. Great choice for lunch.

I walk with a cane & I had brought my dog. I rather doubt I'll be back. I'd rather go any of the other WEC restaurants where the staff is gracious to the level of Disney gracious. Staff were not at all on par with the rest of WEC, well at least not the blond young woman that waited on me. She did smile upon arrival, but their tone was condescending and obviously an old, plump lady didn't fit her idea of who to be nice to. I ordered quickly, as I came to just try the place out and figured the Ralph's burger was the way to go. I felt all the staff sort of walked around her and gave her a wide berth and frankly all looked nervous. Is there a tyrant there? Layout: is odd! Condiments are on the far right end of the counter, yet the utensils and beverages are on the opposite wall. The girl who took my order said nothing about that. I was surprised to get a burger with no condiments on it. I ordered coffee and they give you a cup and it's self-service, which is perfectly fine, but the tea and coffee were not labeled or if they are, then it's up over 5 feet, I tipped 18%, not my usual 20%*, as it's counter service. I assume that's divided up, as the staff cleaning tables were quick & efficient, as well as pleasant. Maybe blond girl was having a bad day, but if that's the case - don't share it. I was there on June 4th, 2026. Since this is not a chain fast food restaurant and they apparently don't put condiments on the burgers, I think having them on the table would be better. Worst service in Ocala all due to one girl.

In addition to the Home and Garden show, there were horse jumping competitions and apparently some tour groups with their yellow lanyards hanging on their necks. Needless to say, we waited in line a while and had to hunt for tables and chairs. Fortunately, my wife and I "divided and conquered" as she secured a table (which we happily shared with another couple after my wife wiped it off with a wet wipe) and I stood in line to place our orders. I ordered the Southwest Burger ($17) and my wife ordered the Patty Melt ($14.75). Both came with fries. We just had water. The wait was longer than we thought (the place was truly packed). My burger had good flavor but thought the burger patty was a bit overdone for my tastes. My wife liked her patty melt and thought it was full of flavor as well but would've preferred the marble rye to be grilled instead of toasted. All in all, despite the crowd which we thought may have affected their execution a bit, we thought of our experience a positive one. We might consider trying out their breakfast when we decide to head back out to WEC for a Sunday service in their quaint chapel. NOTE: I neglected to take pictures since the long wait left us famished.

But for real the customer service was amazing the guy taking the orders was friendly the guy cooking was amazing as well, they were slow the food came out fast I got the og combo they used 2 chicken tenders for each sandwich one of my tenders was dry and the other one was juicy you can tell it was sitting for a little bit of time the fries on the other hand were fried fresh so they were on point all in all 6 out of 10 on the og. The buffalo mac and cheese combo was better both pieces of chicken tenders were juicy and had a nice little kick so this one was 8 out of 10. Because it's inside a Walmart may be the reason they are slow but they should really do all sandwiches to order meaning they should fry it to order once they are more busy then start doing a few more pieces at a time.

I went home and checked my receipt and my order, they didn't match. My fault I suppose. Even though this was not what we had wanted we ate it as no one was going back dealing with Saturday traffic. The chicken O.G. Sandwich was pretty tasty and very filling and the other thing in the bag was the Loaded Fries that had the crispy chicken on top and I'm thinking melted cheese, scallions and bacon crumbles. This was ok but it probably would have been better if eaten there and hot. I had wanted to try the Chicken Guy just to see how it was in comparison to all the other chain chicken places and the food is decent comparatively but from what I've heard from others and this experience I do think that they probably could use better service.

After seeing how far it was from me, I didn't think I'd ever get the chance to sample . However, I found myself in a situation where I felt I could make the 30 minute (each way) drive. I was a little disappointed as I pulled into the parking lot got as, the building isn't exactly easy on the eye. But, I didn't let that sway me. Got there at about 12:15pm on a Thursday and saw lots of activity coming and going. There would about 3 or 4 people in front of me and I waited. As I waited, I watched. There didn't seem to be an efficient work flow in the kitchen. A lot of running back and forth instead of having things "right there". This translated into long service times. Got down to just one person in front of me and things stalled even more as there was much talking about this and that. The line behind me grew to about 10 people. If it wasn't so hot outside I believe the line would have gone out the door. I'll admit that I just about gave up as it probably was close to 15 minutes before taking my order. But, I stayed put. Angelo took my order of an Italian Combo and asked if I wanted it "All The Way". Always. However, I understand that "All The Way" means different things to different people but, I'm good to experience it, "however Christina's of Bellevue " sees it. Angelo was quick to clarify, however, that, "All The Way" meant having mayonnaise on the sandwich and, seeing me with my New York Mets hat on, wanted to be sure that's what I wanted or to just have "sub sauce" on it. Any respecting Italian Combo eater knows that putting mayo on this type of sandwich is an absolute travesty, and Angelo picked up on that he was dealing with an expert. Not exactly sure what "sub sauce" is but, let's go with it. Wasn't as long of a wait in the construction of the sandwich as I thought and I paid my cash (only btw) and was out the door for the 30 minute treck to west Ocala. I was happy at the butcher paper and masking tape wrap. I don't know why this matters, it just does! I unwrapped the sandwich and was pleased to see some soggyness. I realize that some people don't appreciate this type of thing but, I usually order by Italian combos with extra vinegar just for the soggyness. A little disappointed in the bread at first glance as it did not contain sesame seeds and was a little soft, soggyness not withstanding. Bread being the number factor in a good sandwich and, clearly the area is challenged in that respect. I dove in. The overall taste was very good. I would suggest to explain that the sandwich contains sweet banana pepper rings. I like that but, would be informative for the buyer to know that the sandwich is coming this way and perhaps give them the choice of hot or sweet pepper rings, or none at all. There was a sweet undertone to the sandwich beyond the sweet pepper rings and, I'm not sure if this was from the "sub sauce". I would make this my main criticism on the overall taste of the Italian combo. Make a "dressing" of extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt/pepper/oregano/basil.....maybe a squirt of lemon juice, and that's what should be the "sub sauce". It did have a "store bought" quality to it. Nonetheless, I devoured both halves extremely quickly. Fair price at $11. Give it a try but, bring your patience and cash. Yes, I concur, best I've had in the area!!!!
