To begin with, we were amazed at how empty it was for SuperBowl Sunday. I wasn't sad about this as it's my birthday too, so it made for a decent experience all in all. The service is EXCELLENT! No waiting, no flagging down a waitress. They were beyond attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and so polite. We had a problem with the wings being stone cold and my husband's Shrimp Po' Girl sandwich was inedible because the shrimp were also stone cold, it was about 9" long and wasn't even cut in half so he could pick it up and eat it. My sweet and smoky rubbed wings were spot on, though. So were my husband's fries. Seasonings were spot on and perfectly fried without being greasy in the slightest. Our appetizer was the fried mushrooms. Usually, when you order fried mushrooms, they dump them out of a bag pulled from the freezer. THESE were totally different and super delicious! Almost like they were freshly hand-breaded and fried! Look at the pictures! Amazing! We were so full by the end that we took home 10 wings even though I only ordered 20 to begin with. Somehow my husband managed to plow through his entire sandwich and most of his fries (I helped just because they were so good) and his help with my wings didn't really make a dent in them, although he gets a star for good effort lol. Our first batch of bbq sauced wings were cold, as was my husband's shrimp in his po' girl sandwich, but both were quickly rectified by our fabulous waitress, Sarah. She divulged to us that she had only been working here a week, but she's doing one helluva job (in our opinion). Kept her cool and was well organized, made sure things were perfect for the customer. Went there with some guys from work. Waited over 45 minutes for 4 burgers. Ordered mine medium rare. Was burnt. All of the burgers were burnt. Like black and charcoal looking. Strange experience today. I arrived at around 9 p.m., and the place was empty. After I ordered my food with the server, I waited 30 minutes. Within that time, the server disappeared. Not sure where she went. So I went to the bartender, told her about my wait, and that I was ready to leave. The bartender went to the kitchen, had a few words with the cooks for another 5 minutes, came back, and said the food was almost ready and they could make the order to go. Turns out that the draft beer machines are all broken, there are only a couple of the lowest graded well drinks that they'll include for $3, and the $3 tacos are meat and cilantro only.....no toppings. We spent almost $45 on 2 tacos, five wings, a small basket of fries, 2 bottled beers, and one margarita. So much for the Tuesday specials. If you have been to one Wing House, you basically get the same experience at all locations. I went to a Wing House almost 20 years ago when I lived in NYC and came to Orlando for a vacation. That was a memorable experience because the food was good. Although we did not order food this visit, I do plan on eating here sometime in the future, during happy hour. We were there for Happy Hour but at the tail end of it. The reason I am waiting for happy hour is because of the price difference. We came in and sat at the bar. The bar is actually one of the largest bars I have ever seen. It can easily seat 30 people and it is a full circle. The restaurant looked pretty large as well. We were greeted quickly and given menus. Then, we were offered drinks to order. Hubs ordered a beer and I ordered a gin, soda, and lime. We received our drinks quickly and sat there observing the environment and browsing the menu. We were only there for 2 rounds and quickly realized this is a friendly and regulars bar. There were a lot of customers who knew each other, as well as knowing staff. It seems like they have many specials to choose from, which is good because I thought the prices were a little too extravagant. We entered the dimly lit restaurant and sat at the bar. There were a few other customers. We ordered off the lunch menu. The server was very nice but scantily dressed in the uniform of choice for the establishment. I ordered breaded wings and the homemade chips, my husband had the burger and straight fries. My wings arrived with no breading and half the chips were under cooked and the fries were curly. The berger was well cooked and tasty. While we will not be going back, this place may appeal to others if getting the food you order doesn't matter and you like to look at half dressed females. read more

We had lunch at this WingHouse today...it was our first time at a WingHouse so some things were a surprise!. The outfits that the female staff wore were 'interesting'...use your imagination...or go check it out. Most of the staff had masks on but the female bartender did not have a mask on as well as a couple of the servers. The door handle that people used to enter was not cleaned, condiments were not single use but the menus were plastic and washable. Our server Gloria wore a mask and gave excellent service. Tom had a Buffalo Chicken Wrap that he said was the "best ever". His sandwich had an adequate order of tasty steak fries with it. Well, we certainly had an educational lunch today. None of us had ever been to a WingHouse before and the girls had a skating event today in downtown Ocala, so we tried to find someplace close to the rink. The options were limited - no one wanted Long John Silvers, Taco Bell or Luigi's so I suggested WingHouse. I had previously joked about going to Tilted Kilt, but my wife said No. Well, I chuckled to myself as we were seated. Perhaps I should have known the uniforms used by the waitstaff, but I didn't. I do now. My wife only ordered appetizers (artichoke dip and cheese sticks) and I ordered the blacksmith bacon burger only because my first choice (Big Daddy Black & Blue burger) was not available. They were out of blue cheese. I worked really hard on this review, too, so that I wasn't looking around too much. My wife discussed career choices with my 10-year old daughters and my youngest-by-a-minute twin said "They look like they all have wedgies" referring to the servers. My wife said the artichoke dip was a little dry, but the burger was very tasty and cooked perfect. The girls loved the cheese sticks. Obviously, it may not be a great place to take children, however, everyone was very courteous and if you wanted a place to eat finger food and watch sporting events, there were screens everywhere. read more

Went in this past week with my hubby and sat at the bar. Our bartender Margaret was so sweet and knowledgeable. She made our drinks fast and took our order while answering all my questions. When the food came out it was perfect! I ordered some wings with the Nashville hot and they were so delicious. Perfect cook and perfect amount of that yummy hot sauce. My wife and I have been to this location a few times, but the last 2 visits did not go well. A few weeks ago we sat at the bar and my wife was served a martini in a glass with very noticeable lipstick prints on it. The bartender apologized and gave her a clean glass (which was also not-so-clean!). Also the bar itself was wet and sticky; we had to ask to have someone wipe it. We figured maybe just a bad day so we decided to give it another try yesterday. We sat at the bar again, ordered drinks and I headed to the men's room. Let me say, I've been a Licensed Plumber for 40 years and I've seen some disgusting restaurant men's rooms, but this one was in the top three! Both urinals were out of order and covered, so I entered the stall. I had to stand in a puddle of urine to urinate in a toilet that was so badly splattered with urine and feces that it was all over the wall behind it! I washed up while standing on used paper towels that had fallen from the overfilled trash barrel. Needless to say, I returned to the bar, told my wife we were leaving, and quietly told the bartender that she may want to tell the manager that the men's room is DISGUSTING and to give us the check. While finishing our drinks, we watched the sour-faced manager enter the men's room with just a can of disinfectant spray. I joked to my wife "He's gonna need more than that, and no gloves?? He emerged less than a minute later and stood in front of the kitchen like he had nothing to do. I can't imagine what he could have done to clean that disgusting mess in such a short time!!! .......and wash his hands?? If this was a gas station, I would have been shocked. But it is a RESTAURANT! Like most people, I see a filthy bathroom and I think "I wonder how clean the kitchen is? We won't be back. read more
