We got the Shrimp and Grits, and the Charcuterie board. The grits were wonderful and as you can see, the Charcuterie board was very pleasing. Now, on the the nitty gritty. So when my gf and I got there we noticed that it was crowded outside. At first we were a but sad, but that turned around as soon as we walked inside. It was totally empty and the decor was clean and beautiful. The wait staff were amazing and one masked superhero of a server was kind enough to take a picture of my gf and I. I went in when I got to work because I was hungry. I ask for coffee and gumbo. Total $14 bucks for this. This place is a little pricey for the small portion they serve. I only go when I'm hungry. I had the Osso Buco, but I have to say the Risotto was kind of a let down, it wasn't cooked all of the way. My wife's Braised Beef with Mac N Cheese was very tasty, the beef was very tender. This place is nestled between which seems to be a commercial building or some apartments. A small spot right on the corner. I went here for a Saturday brunch around 10:30am. No crowd whatsoever. We got to sit in a booth looking the bar & kitchen. Service was ok, not great bit not bad either. It was weird because we were given a dinner and a brunch menu at 10:30 in the morning. The shrimp & grits was not on the brunch menu but was on the dinner menu, so I ordered that. I feel bad because I had low expectations on their food but was pleasantly surprised how good my meal was. The sauce had a little kick to it which I didn't mind. Smooth creamy grits it was good! My niece had the avocado toast (she said it was basic) We both ordered a cocktail which their Moscow mule was refreshing and delicious! I had a martini which was quite strong just how I like it. We live within walking distance of this restaurant and love having it so nearby. We recommend getting pizza during their happy hour - $11 for a 12inch pizza. A friend and I came here for dinner on a Friday evening, the place was relatively quiet with plenty of open seating available. We both ordered the paella, that seemed to be the number one item on the menu and for good reason. In the pictures it might not look like much but it is really substantial. The house Pinot Noir I would not recommend, not much taste there. They did not have a drink menu available. We were told a new cocktail list will be coming soon. That wasn't an issue my friend ordered a drink that she saw on a previous menu posted on Yelp. Overall we had a nice meal. Jessica was a very attentive server with high spirits. The location is a bit odd, located across from one of the entrances of Hershey Park. There wasn't anything else opened there that we noticed. First impression when you walk up is that it's a very clean and relaxed atmosphere. The outside patio area is well appointed and comfortable looking. When you walk in, there's not a host station by the door. Two people were farther back at a register and invited us to sit anywhere. The high ceilings and cool lighting make the place feel inviting and open. The exposed concrete adds a very hip vibe to the place without feeling too "cold". Cesar was our server. He is excellent. Very friendly, knew the menu and had a fantastic memory. He advised us that it was still happy hour and knew what was on tap and what was not. Service was quick and the food was nice. The squid and octopus appetizer was so fresh! For the price I would have expected a little bit more, portion wise, but the quality was definitely there! We ordered mahi pasta, linguine seafood, and Pork Osso Bucco. None of the dishes disappointed! Every was prepared well and the pasta was cooked to perfection. It's obvious that someone in the kitchen really is paying attention and has a passion for what they're putting out. Refills were made on time and Cesar was attentive without being overbearing. A manager also visited our table as well to check on the meal. They are taking precautions for COVID and have plenty of sanitizer stations around the restaurant. The thing that bothers me about leaving this review is that we were greeted in such a great way and that may have been management. It's a beautiful establishment and we decided to sit at the bar. One bartender said she would be right with us. Sadly 10 minutes later we were not acknowledged again, even though they mixed drinks right in front of us. It's not a large bar and there were 5 people total. Two were closing out. I've worked in this industry and they were not slammed. We were offered no menú, no water, no drink orders. Nothing. So we left. I've only ever walked out of clubs, never a restaurant/bar. Still the night was not a loss. We strolled around the corner to a place called Cafe Benedicte. Not 30 sec. after sitting down at a full bar and only 3 seats available, we had water and Richard took our drink order. Updated review based on service. Our server must have not been having a good morning since he had little to no energy when serving us. He spoke very softly, almost a mumble, making it very hard to hear. The music was not loud nor was the party next to us. one of the menu items gave an option of fruit or grits and while one of my friends was deciding what to get, he left. It was a wild guess at that point what she was getting. He also was not wearing a mask while interacting with guests. That really made us feel like the restaurant is not taking precautionary measures to ensure a safe dining experience. The local oysters were a really good deal and tasted fresh! However, the crispy octopus and calamari were okay. The octopus leg was slightly crispy while the calamari was not and I guess I was under the impression that it would be fried. An 1:15 minutes with no food I talk to the manager, he asked me who the servers were and apologized but made no effort to make it right or do anything for me then or in a future visit. Friday night and almost empty. Staff a little slow at first but improved as night progressed. Waitress overly friendly and delayed our happy hour order to the point we missed our on second drink.
