Set up an appt online several days ago for today at 11:30am to have my tires rotated and balanced. Arrived 10 mins early, checked in on the app, went to the service desk where Ricky stated they should have me out in 45 mins to an hour, but no guarantees since they had a lot of double-booked appointments! Next, he proceeded to show me on the chart in the store how I'm getting close to needing 2 new tires ("they're in the yellow zone", he said) and by the next time I come in I almost certainly will need 4. The car has 14k miles on it and this was obviously setting me up for the sales pitch "next time". Anyway, at 12:20pm, with the app still stating completion expected at 12:18 pm and the car still untouched, I asked Cortland for my keys back which he surrendered without a question as to why. I guess they're used to people bailing due to management practices. Up until today this was my go-to tire store and even recommended it to friends and family, but no more. Discount Tire lost a customer today, but I doubt they care.

So I pull in and ask if they would be able to plug the tire. Once you mention Fixaflat their only solution is a new tire for $300! I asked if they could let me at least put more air in the tire - NO! This is real customer service here! I would suggest if you need anything done with your vehicle, take it anywhere but here! To end my story, I drove across the street to O'Reilly's and bought a plug kit and 12V air compressor. I fixed it myself in their parking lot but they did offer to help. While driving to O'Reilly 's there was a WF police car behind me that quickly sped around me because I had my hazard lights on and could only drive very slowly. To serve and protect - lol. I had new wheels put on my SUV last weekend and had an appointment at Firestone a few days later to get them aligned. This place is within walking distance of my office, so I figured I could drop it off on my lunch hour and then walk back, then walk back after I got off work at 5 to pick it up. I walked in and no one greeted me for a few minutes even though there were 3 advisors available. Finally, one greeted me and I gave him my key fob and walked back to work. Less than 30 minutes later, my car was ready. Fishy. I'll preface by saying I work in the automotive industry so this was a little too fast for a wheel alignment, especially given how full the shop was when I left. Not only was it weirdly fast, but they charged me $130 for less than 30 minutes of work! Absolutely insane with their price-gouging. Yeah I won't be back here.

This service center helped us resolve a significant engine malfunction with our 16-year-old car…read more While I recommend them for technical competence and professionalism, they are wildly expensive. After a timing chain misdiagnosis from another garage--and an insane repair estimate of over $6,000 for timing chain, plugs, and ignition coils--I started calling around and one place recommended a specific mechanic at Christian Brothers who specializes in Infiniti vehicles. I had it towed here, and the mechanic correctly diagnosed the issue as a failed ignition coil--not a timing chain. That correct diagnosis saved me literally thousands. While Christian Brothers Auto. was my "hero" in this instance, it was definitely a "high-cost hero." This place is wildly expensive and arguably overpriced compared to most independent shops. It is my understanding most garages mark parts up about 100% over retail (e.g., a $16 spark plug bills for $32). Everything here was well over 100%, in some cases closer to 400% (e.g., charge $425 for a $115 Hitachi ignition coil, spark plugs over $50 each). I asked for an adjustment on the pricing, and they refused. Also, while many garages will give credit for a diagnostic fee (already higher than most at $199) toward the cost of repairs, Christian Brothers will not. In summary, while I was ecstatic about their correct diagnosis, I was less than enthused about their gold-plated pricing for the work they performed. I strongly recommend Christian Brothers if you have a hard-to-identify issue (at least on an Infiniti), but I would avoid for most routine maintenance, as they are far too expensive.

The first time I went for maintenance service I loved how transparent they are, took the time to explain things, sent photos so I could see what they were doing. I recently had bad news about my car and they went above and beyond to get me information on how to address it with a warranty I didn't know was still valid. TBH, I might never have found out except that the guy decided to look it up and figure it out--All for something someone else will be making money off of.

Nissan sold me a new Fob for $400 and I am having the same issue less than 6 months later with the new Fob. Now they want to charge me $195 for diagnostics because now they think it is the car that is the problem. They already did that diagnostic last time. They are telling me it could be a whole bunch of differnt things. Are you kidding me? Sounds like they don't know what they are doing to me.

Unfortunately, our most recent experience was deeply disappointing. My wife brought the Maxima in for a steering issue. She was told the power steering fluid was leaking and that the rear brake pads needed replacement. A few days later, we noticed the brake pedal felt soft -- the car didn't stop immediately and required extra pressure to slow down. Within a week, the brakes worsened to the point that we had to pump the pedal to stop safely. We returned to Crossroads Nissan. This time, we were told the master cylinder needed to be replaced and that the power steering leak persisted. The technician said he was uncomfortable performing the repair because they rarely replace master cylinders and suggested we consider a newer vehicle instead. Given his reluctant, we took the car elsewhere for repair. The issue was resolved at that shop. We then requested reimbursement from Crossroads Nissan for the initial, ineffective work. Despite weeks of phone calls, voicemails, and emails, we received no response from the Service Manager. Only after including the General Manager in our correspondence did the Service Manager call back. Unfortunately, that call was highly unprofessional--he raised his voice, implied my wife and I were dishonest, and insisted the dealership would not reimburse anything. His tone was aggressive enough that I ended the conversation. It's disappointing to have this experience after more than a decade of loyalty. I hope the behavior of that Service Manager does not reflect the broader values of Crossroads Nissan of Wake Forest. I also hope management takes this feedback seriously and re-examines how customer concerns are handled moving forward. Unfortunately, our repeated attempts to resolve the matter directly have gone unanswered, leaving us with few remaining options. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership for vehicle repairs.
