Discount tire patched it for free and didn't entertain purchasing new tires until they were sure that they couldn't fix it. They didn't try to sell me on anything. I've had 4 sets of tires or more installed here through the years and they do a great job but this time of year can be very busy and I needed 4 new expensive tires for my Tahoe, walked in a number of times this fall but couldn't get in as they were too busy unless I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up at the end of the day. I ended up making an appointment online one month out. I arrived half hour early for my appointment time and the vehicle wasn't in the work bay until 45 minutes after my appointment started, when they were done 30 minutes later I now have a tire sensor light on my dash lit up, all sensors have been replaced in the last few years so it was something they did, they were so busy I didn't have time to wait in line again immediately to address this issue and I just let it go at this point, they also could've popped in the screw on one of my mudflaps that was sticking straight out from the heavy snow that day but they didn't, yes they've been busy but I'm disappointed, the tires are great, Goodyear Workhorse HT is a nice tire for the Tahoe ::: Update Gerry from customer care has reached out to resolve my tire sensor failure after tire installation but the tire sensor has resolved itself, 2 days later as it has started working normally, thank you Gerry for reaching out to me in a extremely timely manner! 5 Stars!!! read more

Location: Just off Hwy 7 and 101, perfect for the west siders. It also happens to be next to a Target and Planet Fitness, which makes waiting for your car a much easier experience. Service: I have not visited prior to Covid Times, so I do not know what it was like prior, but the employees were very kind and accommodating. I had a leak in one tire, and instead of just trying to repair, I opted to get a new set (was at the end of its life any way). They were able to suggest a good tire for me, based on my needs, and budget, and got it ordered the same day for next day installation. They even filled the air in my tires, just to get me through the day (it was a slow leak). Speaking of air in tires, they have a separate air station and you can just pull up without an appointment and they will check pressure and fill as needed, for free. Check-in for the appointment was quick and easy. You call them when you arrive, and they meet you at your vehicle for the necessary information. Payment is taken in advance of service, so you do have to go inside for that bit. Hand off your keys, and walk over to Target for some shopping, or Planet Fitness for some exercise (hopefully gyms open again soon UGH). Knocked off one star from my review because it took longer than they said it would, even with an appointment. Thankfully they have nearby amenities, so it wasn't a painful wait in a boring waiting room. Just keep in mind, I would allow no less than 1.5 hours for the replacement of four tires. Or at least don't schedule another appointment after this one, so you don't have to worry about making it in time. Overall: No one wants to buy tires, but they do a great job here, and I will be sure to go back the next set I need (which will hopefully be many years). read more

I went in needing not just 4 tires, but 4 wheels for my truck and, even on a busy Saturday, Jordan took the time to walk me through the myriad of options available. He made some suggestions on tire size (I was replacing non-OEM sized tires) and wheels as well. I came back a week later (once the tires and wheels had arrived) and they had me back on the road in under an hour. Needed a tire repair on the road, and instead of trying to "upsell," they actually smiled, and graciously and professionally did the job I requested in less than two hours! If you call them the message says they are experiencing high volume due to weather and they have added more staff to help with better service. However, you will sit on hold for 20 mins with this message repeating and they never answer the phone. You are also told for faster service to come into the store. Once you circle the parking lot repeatedly, to find the smallest spots ever allowed in a parking lot, you enter the store to three service providers and a line almost out the front door. All of this is just to pick-up the tires you provided to simply be mounted on the rims you provided. Every experience requires a minimum of 20mins in line. Or...book an appointment online that has been out 2-3 weeks since early Oct. But you can still enjoy the parking, waiting in line, incessant phone ringing while waiting in line experience. read more

When I showed up for the appointment they were incredibly patronizing, and they put four new tires onto my car without asking me. As unpleasant of an experience as it was to get a flat tire, I came in on a Saturday afternoon and received great, honest advice about how to proceed. I ended up having to get two new tires which was not (read: NOT) my favorite news of the day, but with a 90,000 mile warranty and free tire rotation, I can confidently say this is where I'll come back to with anything related to my tires. They brought my tire back out, explained the issue, and walked me through which tires would work best for my car and lifestyle, and luckily, there was a decent supply already in stock. I had to be at work an hour after arriving, and ended up being in and out in less than 30 minutes, which included the consultation and new tire installation. Very pleased and thankful for the great customer service where I wasn't pressured into anything or cheated. As unfortunate as it was to have to unexpectedly buy two new tires, I am glad that I came to this location. Also, they are located right next to Target (with a Starbucks) if you need to walk over and run a quick errand while you wait. Got my tires here after much searching & research. Best deal & service. I really like this place because they are straight forward, and do what's needed without telling you that you need better items or unnecessary repairs. When I got my tires installed I was so sick, I think I stuffed a tissue up my nose, but they were still nice to me anyway ha! I've been there several times since I bought my tires for tire rotations that are free since I bought the tires here-awesome! I never have to tell them, "hey now, don't charge me, I bought my tires here." They know the deal. No hassle. Once they even replaced all my little tire air cap thingies because they said someone stole all of mine. Who does that? And how nice of them. Once I just went there in the Winter because on a super cold day, my tire pressure warning light went on. It was so cold trying to use those stupid gas station air refill machines, I think they were frozen up and my tire gauge was angry, giving me goofy readings. I could hardly feel my fingers. No problem, they said just pull up anytime and we'll fill the tires & get the pressures right. Nice! Just went again for a rotation & because the tire pressure light went on again. They checked out the low pressure tire, even by dunking it to make sure there was no puncture, and they let me know there was no puncture, it just needed air. How refreshing. One time, I had a car dealership make me wait 4 hours for a small part install, and then have them tell me I had a tire puncture and it would cost me boku bucks to plug.....then I went to a place that sells tires to dunk the tire & they said there was no puncture, so I really appreciate knowing the truth, and not getting ripped off. They are also very pleasant and I always get lovely service there. (i put glitter polish on bad tire to make sure i got a new one.) got ride again to get truck, thet didn't have my tire in stock?! they put spare on & promised me a new tire when it was avail. finally,in the blizzard tues. i went to get new tire. they lied. they fixed the valvev stem on bad tire they gave me & told me it was the "new tire." i walked out, stormed right back in & told them they gave me the bad tire. they denied it until i showed them the glitter polish. the manager deflected my frustration & made mike help me. i stood in back where they put the tires on to make sure i got the"new tire"that was ordered! this was beyond a hassle, not to mention it my bill was almost $900.00! mike was great to deal with. i would not recommend anyone to them. the manager should've bent over backwards, but instead, he was just worried about getting other customer's money. i don't have time to screw around with this crap! i'm still pissed! i'm really disappointed-especially after all the vehicle's we've had them do over the year's.you think they'd take care of long term customers. :( the only reason i'd every step foot in there again, is because i'm stuck with they're warranty. extremely disgusted!!! i'd recommend going to them if you don't need your vehicle, can miss time off of work & inconvenience people for rides. read more

I purchased 4 tires for my truck at this location. I was very happy with the service. I decided to send my 64 year-old mother there by herself. Very disappointing! She bought two tires for her car. When she came back to pick the car up the exhaust was damaged and the driver's side muffler was hanging and bent. A gentlemen there explained he may have "tweaked" her exhaust. Discount Tire Co. sent her to a shop to get the exhaust looked at. A gentlemen at this store said the exhaust was old and there was nothing they could do for her. The car is older, however, the exhaust was working properly when she went to Discount Tire Co. to purchase tires. The exhaust shop recommended by Discount Tire Co. gave her an $800 verbal quote for a complete dual exhaust system. I took the vehicle to to another well known local business. Spoke with a tech who has 30+ years experience. He explained the exhaust was most likely damaged from pulling the car onto the hoist too fast and damaging the exhaust. This local business will fix the damage for my mother for a total of $70. The cost of just the damaged muffler only on the driver's side of the vehicle. Not the entire exhaust system. Why only $70? "Because this is the kind of situation that gives companies in the auto industry a bad name." Very disappointing Discount Tire Co.! I will no longer do business with this company. Discount Tire Co. had an opportunity to admit fault and make it right. They chose to deny any wrongdoing and take advantage of a customer that doesn't have the first clue about automotive repairs. My mother was not demanding a brand new exhaust system, only asked Discount Tire Co. to repair the damaged part. Discount Tire Co. chose not to make it right. read more
