I have been going to Discount Tire locations for over seven years. I was driving thru. Minneapolis had an issue with one of my runflat tires. I pulled in and spoke to Alex He reassured me that he would order a new tire for me in less than 48 hours I returned, and it took him in his team 23 minutes to change my flat. Unbelievable service, one of the best teams that ever encountered. If you guys are in the area and you need tires, you must try out Discount tires are the best service the best prices I've been recommending them to everybody even in states that they don't exist in lol. Thanks guys!! Stavros read more

I needed a new tire to replace one that blew out in the road. When they put the new tire on, they put it on backwards, so the threads are going in the wrong direction if they can't put a tire on properly, I don't have any confidence on the quality of the rest of their work read more

If you think you can get service (tire air check) when you need it, think again. The Columbia Heights store said they were short staffed, so go to the Plymouth store. I drove 40 minutes through a snow storm only to learn they stopped doing air checks 5 minutes ago and refused to assist. The company has clearly gone downhill. I will not buy tires from them again. read more

Great pricing service and care taken. Pricing is competitive or better than big box clubs, online dealers, and most local competitors.

Flat tire. Book an appointment via their website to speed things along if possible unless you're in a hurry and they don't have a time slot in the next few hours. Know your car make, model, year. Car driven in immediately after paperwork is done, so plan accordingly. Drop off or chill in the waiting room. Outlets available for phone or laptop. Public Wi-Fi. Clean, open waiting area with space to spread out in keeping with CO-VID19 concerns. Quoted time over the phone at 10 am: 75 minutes Actual time frame: 10 minutes in line, 25 minutes for repair Yes, flat tire fixes are actually free. My 25 minutes of reading in the waiting area were accompanied by hearing several customers from the queue asking the exact same question as their turn turn at the counter came up. Kudos to the team for patiently not only repeating the answer over and over with each new curious customer but also dealing with other inquiries with just as much patience and care, taking the time to go over multiple options suitable for each customer based on their needs and budget. Not one hint of a bored, monotonous tone to be found anywhere in this shop. During my wait, I smiled in seeing a mechanic actually bringing a customer's tire rim in from the garage to better visually present and explain the issue to a customer in detail before presenting repair options. I don't deal with car issues often, but often enough to know that this this level of service isn't the norm in most places. The customer service here shines, whether at the counter or in the garage. Next time I'm in need of tire services and am near a location, I'll hopping online to schedule a visit. Keep it up, team! read more

This place continues to be one of the great wonders of the world. Who knew that fixing flats could be such a great experience? This place gives reasonable advice, does not try to oversell anything, and will not let you drive on unsafe tires. Couple that with prices that are more than fair and friendly employees that seem happy to help you fix your flats or air up your tires for free and there is really nothing bad I can say about my experiences here over the years. I have bought many tires from them over the years and have never been sorry, especially when something goes wrong with one of them. Today, I noted a tire low on air. They tried to air it up but the psi was so low that they would not simply air it up without taking it off and inspecting it for a leak because they were worried about the tire being safe to drive on. A small leak was indeed found and fixed all while I sat in the car enclosed and socially distanced from others and everything occurred in under 45 minutes. Plus, the cost to me to fix this was exactly $0. Getting a flat tire can really ruin your day but the ease of fixing it here from a crew that seems efficient and happy to help really made this so simple that it is impossible to find anything wrong. It certainly solidifies my loyalty to never buy tires anywhere else in the future. read more

I have been bring company vehicles as well as my personal vehicles to this Plymouth location for at least 10 years now and always loved the service and courtesy. The friendly, knowledgeable staff is always prompt and ready with the best recommendations for what time is best for your need. It's that time of the year when tires lose some air when the temps drop. Love this free perk. I can just sit in my warm car while they adjust my tire pressure instead of wrestling with an air hose and tiny tube caps with cold fingers. And James was so friendly! read more

What a wonderful experience at Discount Tire. I came in today when I noticed my tire gauge lit on my dashboard. I assumed it was low tire pressure so I drove in to the Discount Tire in Plymouth (MN). I first met Stanley- he checked all four tires and said that unfortunately, I had a nail in one of my tires. He then said to go see Ryan and they would schedule me in to get the tire fixed for FREE. Ryan was super. He said I could wait for 90 minutes and get the tire patched, or make an appointment. I went on line, scheduled an appointment and came back at 12:45. The job was done in 30 minutes and off I went. I always purchase my tires at Discount Tire for a number of reasons: great prices, professional installation and service, and because I deal with people like Stanley and Ryan. I recommend Discount Tire (Plymouth) and salute that am once again on a job well done! read more

Today I had the opportunity to use Discount Tire for a leaking tire. I found their service outstanding. Both Nathan and Ryan were great to work with and very professional. I would definitely recommend these guys for all of your tire needs. I know l will be using these guys for my next set of tires. Well done! read more

Very easy to schedule and but tires online. However, waiting 15 minutes to even get acknowledged for a scheduled appointment while the manager sits in the office and doesn't get up to help. It's extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Especially as a manager. How can we expect your employees to give good customer service when your manager can't even be bothered to help them give good customer service. Besides that check in, the experience was ok. Ended up not getting my vehicle in until almost an hour after my scheduled appointment. So thankfully I have no where else to be. read more

Excellent wheel and tire service and they won't break your budget. I believe you can find wide variety of tires. Prices low to meet your budget. From moderate to excellent tire wear in use. I would recommend. I've been buying from here for over ten yrs now and wouldn't go anywhere else for a quality tire. Very great customer service. Super informative and make sure you get what you need. Special thanks to Nathan and Mike. They were awesome. Would very much recommend this store read more

Needed a set of new tires. We spoke with Cody, and he laid out the various tire choices along with the pricing for each, availability, options and installation timing. Even though the store was busy, he took the time to listen to our needs and constraints, explaining various options as we asked, rather than attempting to upsell us. We found him to be succinct, courteous and informative. While there was a small delay due to the number of customers, he kept us personally informed. While I was waiting, glanced into one of the bays, and an employee was in the process of pulling a tire from a rim, he smiled, gave me a nod and went back to work. Very refreshing to see a workplace in which employees are happy, care about what they are doing, and care about their patrons. Thanks again! read more

As a dumb blonde girl, this was the best car service experience I've ever had. Every person at this location I interacted with was delightful and helpful. I ordered a whole set of tires for my car via their online site, and based on their projected date of arrival (12/04/2022), I setup an appointment for 12/10/2022. They called and announced that my tires had arrived early, 11/28/2022. I called on 11/30/2022 at 9am and took a chance that there might be a spare appointment. The service guy asks "Can you make it in 20 minutes?". I replied "Yes!". Then he says "Then how about now?". My tires were installed within an hour. I took my car in because the low tire pressure light was on. They didn't bother to check what was going on with that tire and told me that I needed 4 new tires. The car only has 25,000 miles & the tires still had wear. I no longer trust them & will not go back. read more

Kind of a long review and after going here 5 or 6 times for the one issue, ultimately they did get it fixed which was good, I'm just irritated on how long it took to get there. I ordered new black rims to go with the red and black car I have. These had a plastic insert that did not come with the rims so after feeling a vibration, I went in to find out that they were installed without the plastic hub insert. Second stop, the inserts were installed but vibration stayed. Went back to get it looked at again and was insistent it was a balancing issue, DC re-balanced all four tires along with swapping a tire they thought was bad. Vibration persisted. Swapped out rims with a different model. Vibration persisted still and went to another vendor who, after raising the car up, just spun the back wheels to find that you could visibly see that neither of the back rims were centered. This is something that I would have expected DC to have done after the second or third time there. Second vendor put the OEM rims on the back and left the front new rims on the car. Drove over 600+ miles with the OEM rims on the back and new rims on the front on an out of town trip just fine. DC ordered new inserts and a week later installed them. Same problem, vibration persisted. Contacted regional office as I needed this resolved one way or the other and went back to store to get a refund. Manager offered one last thing to try so figured it was worth a shot. Last try before getting a complete refund and DC ordered rims that were the exact hub diameter for the car and exact specs as the OEM rims. This did the trick and the car has been working fine every since. I'm happy that eventually, they did get it fixed. My irritation came from the fact that they pushed the narrative that it was black rims and a balancing issue instead of trying to take a deeper look at the problem after the second or third time of bringing it back for vibration issues. read more

After having some trouble getting a quote over the phone from Herb's Service Center down the street (was trying to help out the little guy rather than doing business with a chain), I called up Discount Tire. No problem, they said, and quoted me 4 different options for new tires for my SUV ranging from $505 to $980. They said they'd need half an hour to do the work and they were able to find me a spot right after work at 5:15 to get the work done the next day. In between the phone call and the appointment, I had used my time to lookup reviews of the various tire options on-line and decide on the ones I wanted. When I walked in the door for my appointment I told the guy behind the counter which option I had decided on and handed over my keys. No pressure, no extra sales pitch, no extended warranty nonsense. Just a quick and easy transaction. They had me in and out in 24 minutes with 4 new tires. This is how service should be, quick, professional, and to the point. Great bunch of guys at Discount Tire. I'd highly recommend them! read more

My phenomenal experience started with a 4:40 pm phone call answered by Marvin. I had just discovered a screw in my front tire and air leaking. Marvin said we close at 5pm, if you can make it before we close we'll stay late to get it fixed. I got to the shop at 4:50, Ryan got my info, he checked my car and saw the screw and then had Alex get the car in the shop for a repair. I watched Alex do the repair work, I thought he would be rushing around to get the job done and get me out of there because it was quitting time, but no. Alex took time to get every step of the repair done correctly, and showed me the screw that was removed. Alex finished at 5:10pm. I was in such a foul mood, and after my experience at this shop I couldn't help but be in a better mood afterwards. Thnx to everyone I encountered today. Robert G. read more

Today I bought four brand new tires after having a horrible experience at the Toyota dealership. As soon as I walked in the door I was nicely greeted by the manager. With a warm handshake and smile. He listened to what the issues were with the car. He presented me with different options and price points. They took great care of my car and did very nice work and extremely timely. All the staff was wonderful. They really helped turn the day around. I will recommend family and friends as they are amazing!!!!! Thank you again read more

Last winter I purchased snow tires from Plymouth. They told me to come back and they'd swap them out for me in the Spring. When I went home I found a rebate on the tires. Well you would think that the store you buy tires from would have known and given a heads up. First, they should give a recommendation for when that should be based on temp. Thank goodness a friend clued me into that. Secondly, I made an appointment and went in only to leave with a $76 bill for 'shop' fees. Well they had two opportunities to tell me that rotating the tires on and off didn't come with the tires. Then to top it off when I said I wish I had never bought the damn tires to begin with, they insulted me by saying that I was actually saving money because my tires wouldn't be wearing out as fast. Their integrity is down drastically since I first went a couple years ago when I purchased my regular tires. I will never be back! read more

Fast, polite, highly dependable service. In nearly 10 years of coming to this location for winter/summer tire changes, I had only two minor issues, both of which were promptly followed up on and resolved to my satisfaction. Discount Tire does one thing, and they do it well. If you've never put winter tires on your vehicle, try it. There is a huge difference in safety and control, and it's totally worth the minor hassle of switching wheels twice per year. On that note, I suggest getting a full second set of wheels with your winter tires. If you do that, they'll swap your wheels for free at any Discount Tire location, and it's a quick process even during peak season. read more

The staff was able to walk me through my options without pressuring me or confusing me. The waiting area was no frills, but they got the job done in 35 minutes so it wasn't a big deal. This business is awesome!!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would. I have never had such great service before. Tbh, we've had some disagreements and some bumps from beginning to current but I promise all who read this they know how to act and step up to make sure things are taken care of. Mistakes happen but they correct and go beyond and above all others. I plan to never leave this business. I bought my car in 2015. I've only bought tires from Discount Tire. So does my mother, 2nd oldest sibling and my younger sibling. My mother only is a total of 4 daughters. We feel like we are a part of the Discount Tire family. If you're ever looking for a great deal or guarantee service please visit any of their locations. FYI, every time I've bought tires from them after price matching, discounts and rebates my total for what I've spent on tires is always less then $450.00-$856.00. In my family we've bought these brands of tires: Michelin, Pirelli, Continental etc. This business is more convenient, respectful, honest and provides great service above all others. And no I have not been paid or asked to post anything. I am willing to promote any business who treats me equally and fairly. read more
