    Things have definitely gotten better here. Great service. Quick service, And no more having to haggle to not get the upscale pitch. Got a regular price and then was able to use $7 off coupon. So I saved $21 versus the dealership and with no appointment. I got a free car wash as well.

I arrived early the next morning and was informed the service could take anywhere from 1-3 hours, possibly longer. I explained the urgency due to work and made it clear I had limited time. The agent said that wouldn't be a problem. The shop was not busy at all, so I reasonably expected to be helped quickly. I left briefly to walk around the nearby mall and returned 2.5 hours later to find that nothing had been done to my car, not even an inspection. My time was completely wasted. This location made promises it did not keep. I would not recommend this place to others, and I genuinely feel for anyone who has had a similar experience.

I realize they are often the bearers of bad news, but that can be delivered with a bit of empathy. They do seem to be honest with their analysis of my autos condition and that is a definite positive. The team also delivers the service at a reasonable price. If you can get past the "well I know you had an appointment, but we have several waiters and we are short a technician due to (add your own adjatiave) illness" they are worth a try if you are looking for a new home for your auto to be serviced.

After my initial complaint, customer service told me a regional manager would respond within 48 hours and that towing reimbursement might be authorized. To avoid dealing with Jonathan at the Lake St location again, they arranged for me to bring the vehicle to Richfield. I paid $200 out of pocket to have it towed. I received no call confirming it arrived. Just an email hours later with a work order. The next day I still had no update, so I called. The employee who answered said he hadn't been there in a week and things were a mess, but he'd check. He called back saying the tire was ordered, should arrive by noon, and he would call when it was done. No call. I had to call again at 5pm. That's when I spoke with Joel. He told me the vehicle was done and I owed $60. I asked why, since I had just paid for this a few days before, since the tire was under warranty and this entire situation stemmed from Tires Plus' work. Joel immediately became rude, agitated, and combative. He repeatedly cut me off, talked over me, and kept saying it wasn't his fault. I was calm and simply trying to understand what happened. He then claimed the previous Tires Plus rotated my tires and that the damaged tire wasn't one of the newer warranted ones. This had never been communicated to me. When I asked reasonable follow-up questions, he became more hostile. Eventually he said, "Fine, since you're accusing me of something shady, I won't charge you, but I'm putting a note on your account and we will never serve you again." I never accused him of anything. This was incredibly rude, demeaning, and completely unprofessional. When I picked up the vehicle with my (male) spouse, Joel's demeanor noticeably changed and he was suddenly polite. When I asked him to re-explain what he told me on the phone, he could not show anything on the work order supporting his claim. The explanation shifted, and he was unable to clearly justify the charge he had tried to impose. (I have video of this interaction) At this point, the workmanship, communication, and professionalism have all been unacceptable. I've had to repeatedly call for updates, pay $200 for a tow for a problem I didn't create, deal with conflicting explanations, and be spoken to disrespectfully. I should not have to keep chasing them down just to understand what work was done on my vehicle. Now I'm genuinely concerned something is still wrong with my tire. After everything that has happened, I don't feel confident in the quality of the work and I'm honestly afraid to drive the vehicle. I now feel like I need to take it somewhere else and pay again just to have the work inspected to ensure my safety. This entire experience has been chaotic, poorly handled, and frankly alarming when it involves something as critical as tires. Between rude management, questionable workmanship, and terrible communication, this has been one of the worst service experiences I've had.

During the hour between the appointment being made and the appointment time, they apparently called me but I was busy. According to the very rude employee I spoke to, they have a labor issue. When I asked "what?" because what do you mean my appointment is cancelled because of a labor issue, he rudely swung the bay door open to show that they literally did not have a single employee. He said they *might* have an employee show up Monday through Friday "with tools." So you need to make an appointment through a centralized franchise call center service, but the location has not apparently made the centralized call center aware that THEY DO NOT HAVE EMPLOYEES. Unbelievable. I would have been understanding -- I understand that these things happen -- but the employee was so unbelievably rude that I am disgusted. It looks like most recently this has been an ongoing issue, but with review services showing the glowing reviews first, it feels like a total scam.

Took off of work to take care of my oil change and tire rotation. Arrived 15 mins early. The older man behind the counter said, oops. I forgot to call you. We're fully booked up today. A call then came in. Instead of asking the caller to hold a min the guy proceeded to make me stand at the counter for 12 mins while he took the call. Explained I took off of work to handle this. He then proceeded explained how I'd need to wait another week. No sorry or a we'll give you a discount. Ended up walking. The best part, all of the bays were opened. Not a single car there. All of the mechanics were standing around looking at their phones. It's almost comical. I'll never go to another Car X again.
