Quality tires for better prices and exceptional customer service! I had a 10 am appointment at the Lockhart Firestone for tires they recommended that, when I checked online, don't fit my truck. They couldn't get me in until the next day either and the tires were about $200 more. Decided to go to Kyle's Discount Tire at 8 that morning and was DONE at 8:45! Ran errands and was home before the 10 am Firestone appt would have even started. 40 mins for new tires???!!! YES. Staff were all great and they even found me a used tire for a spare. This location is a busy location too! read more

Avoid doing business with this Discount Tire store, at all costs. Their entire sales and "consulting" process is based on a series of shelll games they play with their customers. Switching sub-quality tires for the male/model you want, but they never have in stock. And when you order a set of tires to be delivered, they will do so without quoting you a full price. And they will also shift you between different salesman, if you don't provide an immediate yes to a proposed tire model substitute. And different salesman will quote you different prices at different times, as you work through what's available, what has to be ordered, what has come in, etc etc. And when you do lock in a price verbally, and don't get it in writing from the salesman you spoke with, then when the tires arrive they will quote you another price, that will be $100+ or so higher, no matter what you say or who you talk to. Don't trust this outfits SLEAZY sales practices. And I wish I could give their sales team a -1 star rating, from my experience with them. If you do have to deal with them for some unavoidable, get every stated price in writing, because whoever you speak with next is going to try to stick it to you for more cost. read more

Joshua helped us out as soon as we arrived. In the wake of covid19 him and discount allowed us to pay $70 for a brand new tire. I've always been a discount tire customer but after their compassion today I am forever loyal read more

Don't use these jerks. I took my truck in to a Discount Tire in Bee Cave for a set of new tires. They were AMAZING in Bee Cave. I was told if I had an issue with the new tires, I could go ANYWHERE in the nation to have my issue resolved. I went to the Kyle store because I had an issue with my tire pressure sensors 4 days after I received my new tires. These jerks at the Kyle location REFUSED TO HELP ME and told me, "We didn't break it, so why would we fix it?" I asked for the manager, and he too, refused to remedy the situation. If you want any peace of mind when getting new tires, DON'T USE THE KYLE DISCOUNT TIRE. read more

Discount Tire stores consistently provide outstanding customer service and extremely competitive pricing on tires for all types of vehicles. This particular DT store is no different and regularly exceeds my expectations. All of the front line customer service representatives are extremely professional and friendly. They listen to their customers concerns and then recommend options and explain price points thoroughly so that you know what you are paying for. The tire techs in the shop are properly trained and ensure that they are treating your vehicle with care while they service it. On the one occasion where there was a massive mix up on the tires I was purchasing, they bent over backwards to correct the situation quickly and owned up to the human error that caused the problem. I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

Their COVID processes seems very thorough and fairly efficient. I booked an appointment online and was checked in upon arrival. It took about about 15 minutes to have my service started and I was able to leave and come back about 90 minutes later with everything complete. Prices were very reasonable. I'd definitely use these guys again. read more

Update: after driving with the new tires, these are the quietest tires and the smoothest ride I have ever had.

I ordered 4 new tires from Simple Tire because Discount had them on backorder. Now that the tires are in they want to charge $244.00 to mount and balance them. That's ridiculous and highway robbery! Needless to say I will never go back to Discount for anything! read more

Wow! What a refreshing experience. Never have I had such wonderful customer service from anywhere automotive related. This is the chick-fil-a of the tire world. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I pulled in the parking lot and was helped before I even got in the door! Tanner was supremely kind and helpful. They didn't have my tire size in stock, so they placed the order for them. The tires came in before noon the next day! I came in, and Andrew was more than helpful! I'm writing this review while waiting for the tires to be replaced, but they've earned more than 5 stars based on the customer service alone. Complimentary cold water and hot coffee in the waiting room, employees are knowledgeable, and you can see how much hustle the technicians are putting into the work. What a great tire shop! read more

10/10 recommend, the Chick-fil-A of automotive services. Friendly staff, fast and reliable. 3/8/2022 service date at 9:30. the people running that shift are amazing. Everyone of them. read more

Good service, but failed to give me my new lug nut key. Because if this I was stranded and unable to be helped change a flat.

What a great team on Saturday at 5pm! We had a flat tire on I 35 and came in needing new tire to make rest of trip to UT. They took us in and placed new tire, etc. We made it safely to kick-off. They were courteous and gracious though it was really closing time and past. This wonderful crew and manager turned a really bad day into a good day! Cathy B read more

The guy that helped us was nice, but the whole visit was a waste. We found out we have a bolt in our tire, so we took the tire off and replaced it with a spare. The guy took a look and said if it can be patched that they would do that for us, but it was an hour and a half wait. Everyone that came in was told and hour and a half to hour 45 wait. Wasn't even that many people in there. We waited and waited and he called us and told us that the hole was too big and that it couldn't be patched. I'm not sure why they didn't just pull the bolt out right away and look at it and tell us right away it couldn't be patched. We ended up taking it to the dealership and they patched it for us saying the hole wasn't too big!? One thing I noticed was that they kept telling almost ever single person that they has a nail in their tire. Either every person drives over nails super often and doesn't know it or they were being shifty. It seemed really weird, but I am not really sure how often is normal to get a nail in your tire. Just seemed odd. read more

I walked in I was second in line. The salesperson was knowledgeable helped me choose the tires I needed. Said it would be 45 minutes. I thought now way! Soon they updated me on the car. They finished it in 40! Quickest time I have ever been in a tire store. This will be my go to store. read more

I have purchased my last two sets of tires from Discount. This location, in particular, is the epitome of not only good customer service, but the reps are also extremely knowledgeable in their products. I came into the shop on Wednesday expecting to purchase 4 new tires. The rep gave me breakdown of each of my tires and said I just needed them balanced/rotated and patched a spot for free. He told me I still have lots of mileage left on my current tires. I feel like a lot of organizations prey on women like me and I completely trust this shop and appreciate their honesty. I'm super happy to give such a stellar review for them, they are consistently great! Joi read more

After discovering a screw in my brand new tire this weekend, my husband recommended that I head over the Discount Tire to get a quick patch. Because my husband, Jonathan W., has already written a descriptive review of the situation, I am just going to lay out a quick one here - but see his for additional details :) What should have been a simple situation, turned into an attempted scamming. Look, I don't often write 1 star reviews on Yelp - but this situation deserves it. Long story short - he says to me "In the event that we cannot fix the tire, will you go ahead and buy a new tire"...um... NO . He then tried to sell me on a "used" tire for $20...uh huh. Just how used are we talking?...I had a sneaking suspicion that I was being taken advantage of and that magically, once they had my car, that they "wouldn't be able to fix it" and I'd be stuck buying a new tire from them. My BS alarm was firing on all cylinders and after talking to my husband, I decided to get the F out of there, so I split. I headed over to Goodyear, just down the road, where I was greeted by friendly staff and received excellent customer service. No attempts to sell me something that I didn't need. I did not feel respected at Discount and I would warn all women, and probably men, to stay away. I don't trust them at all after this experience. Go to Goodyear if you can! :) read more

We had a flat tire. The wait was going to be an hour and a half. We could not wait that long. We were just going to have to put the spare on. Rolland was very nice and came out and helped us. read more

Discount Tire is one of my favorite businesses. They always provide great service and have great people. They do business with integrity, which is hard to find in the automotive industry. Don't be afraid of the amount people that are there: (1) it's a testament to how good they are and (2) they work quickly and efficiently. They also can call and text when your vehicle is ready if you don't want to wait. If you need tire maintenance or repairs, or need a set of new wheels, I'd highly recommend any Discount Tire location. read more

I came in to see what could be done about a hole in a tire and discovered my tires were about six years old and tread was low and got four new tires. I rarely drive my truck so it never crossed my mind. The sales guy was not pushy at all, very respectful, gave me the facts and let me decide what was best. He gave me price options and ways to work in my budget. He was also very patient while I sat down, crunched numbers, texted back and forth with my wife and did a bit of online research. While I was waiting for the tires to be installed, he reheated my breakfast in the staff microwave and offered me coffee and water. Really, just hats off to the Kyle Discount Tires. I was so impressed with my sales guy I told the manager about it and discovered he has been with DT for 20 years and is only in his mid-30s. Not only that, but hands were dirty, he's not only the manager, but works with his staff too. That says a lot. We have only bought tires from DT and this experience reaffirmed my decision to come here today and do business with them once again. read more

They were great today! Looked at my wife's Tahoe to ensure no nail. I may have misjudged them originally.

Decent work and great tires but their push for rushing has incurred two incidents during my services. First, I asked one front (side wall cracking)tire to be replaced in the front, by aused tires from the rear and move to the front. The new tire was instructed to be put in the rear. Im sure the youngster was being rushed, but I wound up with the bald tire still on the front while the one rear tire with plenty of life remaining wound up in the tire shop, but I did receive my new tire. Second, I visited to purchase two new tires and when I received my vehicle the tire pressures were not checked(ironic). I called and told the manager on duty and he told me and I quote "oh its not a big deal, I'll talk to my service crew". I think Discount Tire needs to give their employees time necessary to complete the job correctly not rapidly. read more

After coming home from a long work trip and seeing a flat tire on my car, I put on the spare and drove down to the nearest tire repair shop, which was this one. The manager, Justin, helped me out and explained to me why I had the flat since there was no visible puncture and what the best alternatives were. I was in and out of the place in about 20 minutes and got terrific customer service. Definitely recommend if you are on the side of I-35 with a flat or are a local! read more

Very helpful, new establishment. Bought tires and wheels here for 3 vehicles. Update: This store went out of their way to help me match tires on my vehicle that were no longer in stock. I can recommend their quick and friendly service. Then I experienced a problem and Justin did everything possible to make sure it was not a tire problem. All of their service personnel were very helpful as I worked through this, so I would recommend them highly! read more

Professional, courteous, clean, efficient, technology is up to date, fast, good prices and I felt like a professional pit crew was working on my truck. Was an amazing experience! I get there and the place is pretty busy. I walk up to the counter and was acknowledged immediately. Jose said someone will be with me in a moment. Marcus comes over and introduces himself. We both walk out to my car and I explain that I had a nail in my tire and it went flat. He took a look at my tire and saw the nail. Marcus also checked the other 3 tires tread. we went back in the store and he mentioned that if the hole can't be fixed they have tires as low as $83-$240... he said it would be about 30 minutes. I actually waited about 20 minutes. Very good experience. read more

Front drivers side tire seemed a little flat to me so i drive to discount tire to have it checked out . I always get tires for my cars there and they never disappoint me, this time was no exception they took my car in almost right away checked ALL the tires for me changed the valves on all 4 just in case . as usual a member of the staff greeted me at the door and showed good knowledge of the merchandise .and was extremely professional . the work was covered under my warranty and did.nt cost me a cent . my wife took her car there last week for tire rotation after they sent a email informing her it was due . as well as the top notch service they offer the tires they sell are priced below anything available at competing companies .and their warranty is far more inclusive than anything you can buy in the market place .. 5 stars read more

I recently bought a set of tires here and was impressed with their customer service. They were missing one tire from the particular set I wanted so they apologized then set an appointment time for me later that same day and they got the tire I wanted from another discount in the area. You could see that they hustle when working, then tried to greet every customer in the parking lot. The lobby is clean and they offer free coffee and bottled water. Plus they back their work with a solid warranty that includes free repair or replacement for tire damages from road hazards. read more

While I've been to their locations in other cities, this was the best experience I've ever had with them, or for anything car-related, actually. They could not possibly have made it any easier, as they were efficient and friendly. After smiles (on a Saturday, when I'm sure it's not top choice to be at work), clear communication, and the best customer service I've experienced in a long time, I drove away thinking, "Man, I should go get my tires checked out next time I'm having a really bad day!" (which I was during this visit and why I appreciated their competence & friendliness even more). They actually seemed like they enjoyed being there, and I did too. Thank you, Discount Tire of Kyle. Fantastic experience. I needed new tires for my travel trailer. I found the tires I wanted on the website but still stopped by the store to make sure the tires would be there and to make sure the Kyle location could handle a trailer. I spoke with Marcus who was incredibly helpful. He verified that the tires were available and I paid for them to make sure they were held. Marcus also helped me to schedule an appointment for the next day for installation. Before I left he showed me where to park the trailer when I returned the next day. I came back the next day with trailer in tow. Tanner helped us. We were early for our appointment but Tanner got us all checked in, did a safety check on the trailer and told us we should be on our way in 30-45 minutes. At this time the power went out. Beyond anyone's control. The guys in the shop kept working as best they could. Very impressive. Power was restored in about 30 minutes. Less than 30 minutes later we were on our way. This was a great experience all around! Thanks guys for your efforts! I'll definitely be back as y'all made this very easy! read more
