I had an appointment at 10 am and drove away with four new tires at 10:34! David was professional. No high pressure sale, he simply helped us with what we wanted. Clean shop and friendly people. I am pleased with my new tires, and it was a great value. read more

Could not recommend this shop more! Kind and helpful staff. Super quick service. Ask for David L, he is super friendly and made it the best experience I've had at a tire shop by far. read more

If you go through my reviews, you'll see I'm a longtime fan and customer of Discount Tires. I've been to several locations in Texas, and other states. Generally, I think it's a great company that pays and treats their employees well. I've never encountered bad service from any of their locations, and this place is no exception. The facility is new, so the waiting area is clean and comfortable. The service from the employees was great. The three people I interacted with were nice, friendly, and helpful. They were patient in answering questions or explaining issues or items. The actual work done on my car was great. I made an appointment before arriving (which is best to do, if you can). The value is great! If you're a new customer, I recommend paying for the warranty to cover your tires! I did that a year ago, and it got me a new tire today (thank you for the screws in my tire, Austin Construction!). This place seems less busy right now compared to the other locations around the city. However, I'm sure they'll build a big customer base in this area soon. read more

I spent over $1,400 on tires and scheduled the installation for noon. About 45 minutes in, I was informed that the installer had broken my BMW locking lug nut key. I had to drive to the BMW dealership for a replacement key. Shortly after returning from the dealership, I was told that the lug nut had broken with the lug nut key stuck in the nut and would need to be drilled out, risking damage to the rim. I had to order a new lug nut. I left at 2:35 PM and am currently driving with only four lug nuts on one wheel. The staff was polite but not apologetic. Not a great experience. I've purchased several sets of tires from Discount Tire in San Angelo and Austin over the years. read more

This is a new location and was not as busy as other ones yet, so I had no problem getting a service person to help me. I had them check my tires before a long drive trip out of state. They have a sleek device to measure tread thickness, then tell you where the tires stand on tire life. The guy was honest and told me they were in pretty good condition, but based on the trip distance I would likely need new ones when we returned. No sales pitch. And he even gave me a couple of tire brands to consider when I got back, and provided the brands and prices so we don't need to go over it again when they were needed. I felt comfortable that we would be safe on our trip, and that there was a plan forward when we got back. I love the service here! read more

I've been going here for the past year or so. I've always had excellent service. Most recently had my tires rotated. After scheduling before hand, I showed up, dropped off my keys, and was back on the road in under 30 min. I've historically gotten tires/rotation at dealership, however will be using Discount Tire moving forward. Would highly recommend this location. read more

I've been a Discount Tire customer for the past decade plus because they are consistently honest with great customer service and great prices. This last visit for new tires for both our cars was no different. Highly recommend. read more

These guys had previously installed some tires on my VW Atlas SUV that I had ordered online and installed and balanced them at a competitive price and because of this initial service I went back today to see if I could get my right rear tire patched. Met with Jackson who immediately pulled my car in and located the nail and his team went right to work repairing my tire. The team here at this DT location are always professional, knowledgeable and the shop is clean. They provided me great service for a good price. I highly recommend if you need tires or tire repair to come see these guys. God Bless these men read more

Steve helped me today and was a great with customer service! Definitely recommend. Free tire repair too, good value.

I went there on a Saturday as my daughter's tire was low. I figured Saturday afternoon, they'd be rushed and maybe a bit cranky. Not even close! There was a small line. But they greeted everyone that walked in and said they would be right with the person. Matt looked over the car and got me in. Told me it would be around an hour. About 30 minutes later, Dan said it was ready. They even checked the TPMS system, which I thought was broken. They said it wasn't and that it should go off after I drove a bit. And it did! Not only were Matt and Dan great, I noticed how genuinely the other folks working there were. These folks do a great job. Because you know you're only going to them when you have a problem. And these folks were great in every respect. Can't recommend these folks enough. read more

I was pleased to find out that Discount Tire opened this store in Oak Hill as it's closer to me than the one I usually go to. I made an appointment to get my tires rotated and balanced. The new store is nice, with some areas where you can work with a computer while waiting for your vehicle. I got the usual excellent service while there and spent just over 30 minutes getting my car serviced. Discount Tire is the only place to get tires! read more

Visiting Austin area from out of state and had a low tire warning at the worse possible time! Drove to the Discount Tire on HWY 290 in Oak Hill. I always assume the worse, having to replace an entire tire but luckily it was a small piece of metal so patched and on my way in about 40 minutes. They also took the time to check all tire pressures All for free!! Thanks Discount Tire!! read more

Fast and easy! Dropped the car off got a call an hour later all ready! The price seemed really reasonable to.

I was happy to see a new Discount Tire open near me but I was hoping to not need them for a long time. However, with all the construction on 290, I knew it was inevitable. I had a tire that was slowly losing air over the course of several days compared to my others. I had filled it up a couple of times thinking it was a fluke with the temperature fluctuations because I couldn't see a nail. I finally caved and went online and scheduled a same day appointment which was very handy. The facility was nice and had that wonderful new tire smell. Ha! They identified that it was indeed a nail and fixed it for free and sent me on my way! I will definitely be back. Great value and great customer service. read more

Taken my EV SUV here for rotations a couple times and new tires. Definitely better service, knowledge, and shorter wait times here than the Bee Cave location up the road which I'd avoid at all costs. read more

Best customer service, ever! I was greeted in a timely manner and my tire was ready in less time than expected.

Everyone here is super friendly & knowledgeable. Sergio is amazing at what he does and explains everything step by step! The only discount tire I would go to in Austin. read more

Discount tire has always been my preferred shop. After three flats in four months, I found myself here. My previous two flats were time sensitive repairs and I was nowhere near a displaying either time. Both times took almost two hours. But discount? From walking in the front door with no appointment, to pulling out of the parking lot? 40 minutes, and that's with other people in there as well. Thank you! read more

I unfortunately had to visit this store twice due to nails in my tires this week but the staff attitude and willingness to help made it easier to deal with. They seemed very busy but were still able to get me out within the hour both visits. Definitely coming back to this store when I'm due for tires. read more

I got my tires rotated and a balance check then air in all of them. Next thing I know I end up back at discount tire to get it rebalance because the first place messed it up. Did not seeing my night or day going like this. read more

Best price around. In-N-Out with four new tires in 29 minutes. Can't beat their service.

Incompetence. My jeep wrangler did not come with a full sized spare when purchased, so the first thing I did was go to your store to get one. When I was purchasing this $900 tire and rim, I asked, is this all the hardware I'll be needing. He replies, yes I have the bolts added on here. When I arrive a few days later to have it put on they have no info on my order and it takes 20 minutes to figure things out on how to charge me and find my tire. 45 minutes later I'm informed the tire won't fit because my spare tire holder needs an extension ( it was actually a spacer I was needing). When it comes in and I go out to install it I see that my tire holder has an extending arm there, you just have to slide it out! Not happy! So now when I go up there, I get to see the manager fumble around with his tools for an hour to tell me the bolt pattern on my tire holder doesn't line up with my tire! 5 different employees put eyes on vehicle and should have caught this earlier. They tell me there's nothing the can do, they can't figure it out, don't know where to get the part. Had to get a refund. Wasted my 2 days off at your shop, researching and waiting on parts I dont need, all to not even get the job done. read more
