Worst discount store I've ever been too. 2 weeks and I can't get a tire. Originally had taken it for a repair, and was told it couldn't be repaired. They placed the donut on and my family has been driving around on the donut for 2 weeks easily exceeding the recommended distance of 50 miles. I have been given 3 dates when the tire would arrive and every time it has changed. Only the manager Patrick calls back to follow up, no one else actually gives a shit at this store. With so many discount options around time you're better off driving a little out of the way be sure if anything wrong happens this store will not help you. Update: I have been informed that I can drive around on my donut because they don't care. Ended up getting all 4 changed at Costco even though the other 3 tires were purchased less than a year ago. Discount does not honor their warranty and at least this location doesn't give a damn about customer safety. read more

Came with a flat tire. They initially said they couldn't see anything. Hours go by. I call. "What's the status" "Oh we found a nail we could barely find, and it looks like you need two brand new tires" Mind you. I just bought all new tires from them in November of 2024. There is absolutely no way. I spoke with Mitchell who was absolutely rude and gave me attitude. The tires were purchased under a different number. Gave me attitude about not finding warranty. I requested to speak with a manager. An unidentified person got on the phone. Said he didn't know what the problem was, tires are covered under warranty, they'll put the new tires up. At this point I'm seriously questioning the integrity of this shop. I get a ride in. Maybe Mitchell will have a change of heart when he realizes he's speaking with a grown man and not a helpless old lady. Mitchell magically forgets who I am even though I just argued with him on the phone an hour prior. He says the person I spoke to was a man named J J, which was another lie, because I remember Mitchell introducing himself on the phone. At this point I'm very mad because Mitchell is a liar even about the phone call we just had. I have a comprehensive report from February 26th from Christian brothers automotive going over my tread and tires. Perfectly fine. Mitchel tells me I need brand new tires. And then Mitchell says that my tires are past the mileage for the warranty for the tires. Of course! I read online your business occasionally scams people out of warranties. At this point I am furious. I have a small daughter and now I can't even trust the integrity of my own vehicle or your companies work to drive my family around town just so your men can make a sale. Is this how you do business? At the end I get into it with Mitchel, called him out on his lies and J J tries to back him up. I have photo evidence and proof of my tires and tread from a month and a half ago. I am taking my car into the shop again to check the integrity of your work. Do not come here unless you want to get scammed and deal with lying conmen. Imagine if I wasn't a man. Women beware. The only saving grace was that the argument in the shop got so heated with the three of us J J told me to leave and he would "take care of the tire" wow. How convenient. Thanks a lot. I understand we all need to eat. We all have a job to do. I am a working class man as well. You don't have to screw over your own countrymen for a dollar. That's bad religion. Would have maybe had a sale if Mitchell wasn't so rude and aggressive with me at first, and then him getting caught in a web of lies right after, and then never taking accountability like a man. I don't know if I will ever give discount tire my business ever again, this experience was literally baffling. Mitchell is a GROWN OLD man by the way, talking down to people over the phone and then had the audacity to throw J J under the bus, saying it was J J i was on the phone with earlier when I know it was you Mitchell. I've been to many Discount Tire shops. It's a great place to go and they offer more free services than any other business I'm aware of. This last visit was exemplary. I took in a set of tires with pretty sad rims with a ton of rust on them. I was looking to have the old ones removed and new ones seated. They had them for a while but were only able to fix 2 of 4. I was a bit disappointed at first because I was hoping the rims would all be in good shape. They offered to refund me, but then also offered to keep the tires another day until they had the tools needed to fix all the rims. The next morning I got a call saying my tires were ready. I really think these guys went above and beyond to help me out with my tires. Obadiah, Nathaniel, and Jacob helped provide great service and I just wanted to shout that out. Thanks guys. read more

Totally satisfied with service from this Discount Tire. I choose this location since they also do alignments. I wanted a larger tire on my F150, first they test fitted for me at no cost. Was close, so I did a leveling kit and ordered the larger tires. There were issues getting the tires as originally ordered, but they took an extra effort to get the tires I wanted into their shop, installed them and took care of me for my inconvenience. p.s., they also beat Costco's cost! read more

Spiteful : I came to this discount tire to change two of the rear tires (couldn't afford the protection at the moment) only to find out 20 minutes later when I went to my dealership to do an intensive car repair after they inspected the car they told me that there is a nail in the right rear tire , and the tire caps were removed and it was not tightened properly. I was told to go back to discount tire to see if you can getting exchange for new tire that I've change about 40mins ago! I was in November at this location as I have every 4 weeks a low tire signal appearing on my dash. I was told that I needed 2 front tires and there was NO LEAK anywhere detected. So I got the 2 front tires for over $300. Now 4 weeks later the low tire pressure prompt appears again! Yikes. When calling the store and waiting for the manager I waited for over 8 mind for him not to show up. I called again and talked to an associate and he told me that it was MY problem that I did not go and have the tire pressure checked after 4 weeks and it had nothing to do with their service. He helped me compare what I had to Goodyear's and Michelin's and within them different types of Goodyear's and Michelin's dependent on my needs and driving habits. I believe I was defrauded since I had a warranty. Went to this discount tire and was told the damage to my tire from a nail could not be repaired due to its distance to the sidewall and other reasons that I had to buy a whole new set. However, I did not disclose to them that I had a warranty. they did not have the tires in stock that day so I went on my way Over two weeks later I took the same damaged tire to THIS discount tire (this time I caught another nail so I really couldn't wait this time. I went to a different shop, this time I disclose that I had a warranty, they patched both of them and said they were fine for repair When I discussed this with the second shop they told me the first shop was lying to me to sell me a new set of tires. Or was the second shop lying to me so that they did not have to Follow the obligation of the Warranty??? Regardless. I have hade my time wasted and I DO NOT APPRECIATE IT.... If you aren't going to honor your warranty DO NOT SELL THEM!! And if you do don't SELECTIVELY HONOR IT!! Total BS fraud on either this store or original store on FLW AND SCOTTSDALE ROAD. Every year the service gets worse and worse. Not sure if I can continue to do business with them..... just like every other business in America. Service/experience/ care for customer grows smaller EVERY SINGLE YEAR Hopefully management corrects this error. Been a loyal discount tire customer for almost 2 decades. I unfortunately had a flat on a Sunday so I had to wait til Monday to come in but I felt well taken care of. Troy was so kind and helpful. Henry was also extremely helpful. They greeted me with a smile and were honest with me. As a nurse who sees MVCs everyday, vehicle safety is extremely important to me whether it means having to get new tires or windshield wipers. I had a great experience with this shop. There was A LOT of people but what do you expect on a Monday ahaha I wasn't even bothered by the wait. 10/10 would recommend this store read more

I pulled into the air check line at 5:20 and sat there until 535 two employees standing around, we're not courteous enough to come out and tell me that they were not doing air check at this time or offered to help. Having a flat on a Monday morning was not fun. This was the closest discount so the other half followed me here. They were organized and had 2 lines, one for air check and another to check in. Austin helped us and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, my tire was unable to be patched up so we bought 2 new tires. I can't say how much customer service matters and they really knock it out of the park here! Makes shelling out a couple hundred easier when you are dealing with nice people. If I have the option to come back here in the future I will go out of my way to come here as I have other Discount Tire shops closer to me. Normally I swear by discount tire. Are store is usually Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley...they are a 10 star location. Recently due to covid are location was closed for a bit. We took our car to the Arrowhead/bell location also great. Recently purchased a new (used) car was told that there was no charge for our tire rotation. We get to Bell they tell us wrong location. Head to 59th off the 101. They tell us it is $40 because we did not get our tires trough them. After we were quoted no charge. Bait and switch not cool. Once we are done we will not be back to this location. All discount tire locations not the same. I will all praise and refer people to the Lake Pleasant Happy Valley or Bell location. And then Tyler told us it was lifetime for $40. Yet his boss said $60 was lifetime we paid for onetime service. We were worried about a leak and no one checked tire pressure. SCAM ALERT! If your TPMS light is on and flashing, it could mean that the sensor battery is failing or that the tire pressure sensors are malfunctioning. But, that's not what Discount told my wife. Instead they tried to sell her 4 new tires... The next day we took it to Costco... they quickly found the real issue... checked her tires and said she still had life on them.
