I am leaving this review for two Discount Tire shops; the one on Evans near Holly and the one just east of I-25 on Arapahoe. I took my Subaru into the Evans store to put on my snows (mounted on rims). After I left, the TPMS light came on. I took the car back, and they were unable to fix it with their TPMS scanner. Apparently there have been some problems with Subarus lately. I was upset, and complained on a Discount Tire forum. Within 24 hours, I had gotten a call from a regional Vice President, the manager of the Evans store (Trent), and (after I said I'd like to get it repaired on Arapahoe) the manager of the Arapahoe store (Ed). Today the Arapahoe store was able to fix the issue. (Well, I hope... sometimes TPMS issues take a while to appear). In any case, the way that Discount Tire goes above and beyond in customer service is wonderful. I'll probably never go anywhere else for tires. I would buy stock in this company but it is privately held! If you do plan on using Discount Tire, I highly recommend planning in advance and making an appointment on their web site. With an appointment they try and have you finished within 45 minutes of your appointment time. Otherwise, plan on 1-2 hours during busy times. read more

Ordered my tires online. They called me as soon as they came in. The team was on it because they had even told me the tires would probably be in by Saturday so I made an appointment for that day ahead of time. They got me in really quick and I only sat for about 30 minutes while they were installed. Professional and fast. Will be a customer for a long time. read more

I, obviously, have different expectations here from a lot of the users of discount tire company. I expected that I made an appointment (2pm) that they would be ready for me. I told them what i wanted (2 new tires). So after I picked out the tires. . I would expect my car would go in next to have the work done. Then I would be on my way. Okay, remember Seinfeld and the "you know how to take reservations" skit. Well that is where I was with Discount Tire. . .except I didn't whine I was right on time to my appointment and selected tires within 10minutes. They said 1hr (since I had an appointment). My card didn't move from its place for 45 minutes. The actual work took all about 15-20 minutes. So what was my appointment for? Discount Tire company, you need help. here is how appointments work. You block off time (i.e. 2 to 2:30) for someone to do work that person is then available to do that work in that time period I show up on time, I get the work done its not, I show up, wait 45 minutes, and a spot opens up If a restaurant had tried this. . Quick service! Reasonable prices! Knowledgeable staff! I will definitely be going back. I spoke to the manager, Tyler, who patiently listened to my woes and helped me price out a new set of tires. They were also able to fit me in the day of, before I took off for a long road trip. I also called a few other places, where the staff was not nearly as friendly or helpful. When you get there, they show you all the options from $500 to $1,500. I went with the continentals for about $900. Pretty reasonable for all season 17inch tires. Happy with my investment and will be back to this location in the future. read more

Discount Ire! Over 20 year customer of Discount with $$$$ spent. Came in for tire balance. Left with scraping noise. Then one tire rebalanced, but now with weight mounted on outside rim. Was told there was no fix. Drove to nearby 2nd Discount Tire store. Said they could fix the problem wheel, but then proceeded to rebalance all tires. There went another hour of my time. When I left, the tires were out of balance and they forgot to put on a center cap, so another 30 min of lost time to go back for it. Did review search for the best rated Discount store and went there. They rebalanced all tires - properly - and noted that the tire pressures were low (after store 1 told me they were all at 36 psi). At least a half day blown to get it right..and all these guys do is tires: no alignment, brakes, struts, etc. And they screwed it up. rebalanced all tires read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. These guys went above and beyond to help me get my car ready for a 1700 mile road trip. They noticed the lug nuts had been stripped by the nearby Big O Tires, and went to another store to pick them up for me and replace them. They reached out to the Brakes Plus nearby and let them know I would be stopping in to have my brake shoes checked out and assured me I would be in good hands. They are inviting, considerate, and go above and beyond to do the best job to ensure safety for their customers. The day we moved to Colorado, one of my tires went flat. After a few days of it continuously going flat within a day of putting air into it, I took it to this Discount Tire location near my house. They could have told me I needed a brand new tire, and I would have believed them and paid for it. Instead, they told me the valve had some corrosion and was leaking air. They cleaned it and sent me home without paying a cent. I am so appreciative of their honesty and will definitely use them when the time comes to actually replace my tires. read more

Took my car in for a routine tire rotation. They said they would not rotate my tires because I had 2/32" on the tread. The treads were perfectly fine. I took the car to the dealer later that day and all treads measured at 4/32 or 5/32. They said I could buy two new tires for $400. They also said that they felt the tires were uneven due to a misalignment and that the manufacturer warranty wouldn't apply because of an "equipment malfunction". The tires had only 15,000 miles on them (of a 50,000) mile warranty. This place just wanted to scam me out of buying new tires. No thanks, won't be going here any more. read more

I have so many awesome things to say about these guys!! My cousin called at 5:30 freaking out cause the tow for her flat-laden car was running behind and we wouldn't get there until 6:00pm on the dot (when they close.) We walk in and instead of looking upset or frustrated by us we were greeted and helped immediately. Zachariah was incredibly polite and helpful, reassuring us that they would get it done quick. He even said he would replace her wheel locks for free if he could (turns out there was nothing wrong with the tire, just weird weather stuff). This was a blessing cause she didn't get paid until the next day. What I thought was even cooler was when the manager came out to talk to a customer there to pick up his vehicle. He let the dude know there had been a slight accident with his tire, but that they were covering the costs and made sure to take care of it - they just wanted to let him know. This. Is. Awesome. Talk about honest! Clearly this manager is doing something right, his employees were honest and took care of us. When zach came to tell us the news that the tire was fine he handed over they keys and we left. I feel most businesses would still charge you in some way for their time, they did not. Thanks for breaking my TPMS sensors. These guys even refused to rotate my tires because it wasn't at the right mileage(when a previous worker a few years ago told me to rotate them every 6-8 months when you don't drive very much to help avoid uneven weight tear). Everyone already knows they have the best deals around. But honestly their customer service is top notch. Pulled up and Mike came out to greet me rather than waiting for me to come in. Talk about royal treatment! He asked me a lot of questions that I barely knew the answers to but was so helpful and didn't make fun of me. Taught me about tires after I was telling him all this information that made it sound like I was driving on spare tires that were all flat, he thoroughly explained the conditions my tires were in. Learned something new!! Then I didn't know who my account was under because all my phone numbers didn't work and he was so patient with me as I frantically tried different numbers and ran to my car to get the paperwork. Good thing I had it in there! The staff was really fast and got my tires filled and rotated in about 20 minutes and I didn't pay a penny! Had new tires put on my car. After they put the new tires suddenly there's an issue that didn't come up when they were taking the tires off. They said that my lug nut stud was stripped and blamed it on pervious owners and directed me to their buddy's mechanic shop (which I absolutely didn't go to). They even refused to answer any follow up questions about the issue. $200 bucks later at a shop I took it to said it was absolutely this Discount tire's doing because the amount of damage could only be done by a pneumatic drill when the tire was being put on. An untrained or lazy employee here didn't know how to handle his fancy little pneumatic drill and broke my equipment. They mess up a simple job and I had to pay. Maybe they thought because I'm a woman they could pull one over on me and I'd be none the wiser. Beware of these hacks!!! read more

Excellent customer service! I have been to this location on multiple occasions, and have always had good service. I stopped in today because I had a nail in my tire. Greg came out to look at it (waited just a couple minutes while he finished up with another customer). He said to let him pull it out to see if it actually punctured the tire (which it didn't). He then checked the tire pressure on all four tires, and sent me on my way. I don't think I was there more than five minutes. Top notch service! Thank you, Greg! read more

I'm never disappointed with the help I get at Discount Tire-- I've been to 3 locations, this one being my most recent. These guys always have top-notch service and the best prices no matter where you go. When I went in recently, I had scoped out some tires online and they were able to recommend a better tire for less. I had actually called another tire company that was doing a special promotion. They quoted me more than TWICE what Discount did. Not necessarily, for the same tires, but similar ones. I nearly choked on the phone and went straight to Discount without even looking back (how could I have ever doubted them?!). A few tips: -If you're busy, you can call ahead and make an appointment. -The protection is 100% worth the slight extra cost. I had never used it for a good 4 years (no flats, no leaks, etc). But within the last year, I've had one tire repaired and 2 replaced. The repairs were free, the replacements were significantly discounted-- WAY better than buying a brand new tire. Discount Tire's earned my loyalty for life. read more

I have been to this DT plenty of times, for leaks and repairs, and everytime, the service is free. I explained my current situation, and the mechanic and customer service folks asked questions without making me feel lame. I was able to get an idea of when to change my tires, free air, and all within a 30 minute wait time. I will return and recommend this DT off Arapahoe. read more

I got in a little before closing on a Saturday and they still went the extra mile to check my tire and assess that it was a flat that wasn't repairable. They put my spare on, wrapped up my old tire and I came back the next business day after ordering the tire I needed on Saturday evening. The tire arrived on Monday and I was emailed that it was ready. Save yourselves time and order your tire if it's over the weekend. read more

My issue with Discount Tire is this: I come in and wait in line. I order tires quickly, pay quickly. About 2 hrs. I leave and they text me that my car is ready. I stand in line again and listen to two people ahead of me really struggle over what tires to buy. Ends up, both leave. No purchase. Taking forever. Now that I'm next in line the available service rep picks up a ringing phone and I lose it a bit. I walk up to the phone-focused service rep and explained that the phone call is NOT next in line. I am. A paying customer who has waited in line for 15 minutes for his keys. I was emphatic enough and determined enough that it became obvious to the rep that he needs to get rid of me. He was a bit irritated (like me) but kept his composure and politely handed me the key. This treatment of paying customers needs to stop.The ever present ring of the phone can wait. I waited long enough. Its not the rep's fault, it is a fault of management. You need a rover at the front who takes care of the customer who just dropped a grand or two. The rover's job is to sift out those customers who just need a key. And no phone calls allowed for this person. I have bought here for 20 years or better and have dropped multiples of $10,000 for my boats, horse trailers, trucks, crawlers, etc.. Discount's service reps are nice. No issue there. But...I'm about to go rogue and try Costco or go ala carte through the internet. read more

We have used Discount Tire on Iliff in Aurora, CO for years. They are wonderful and always helpful. So when we had a flat tire near I-25 and Arapahoe Road, we were delighted to find the Discount Tire store on Arapahoe Rd because it was close to closing time. The guys were willing to stay to replace the tire, but then began what we felt was a "bait and switch" approach to upping the price from what they had just quoted. No way! We drove off and intend to go to the store on Illif Monday where we have had so much success. There they guys are very nice, competent, and do the work for the exact amount of money they quote us. The store on Arapahoe Road was a HUGE disappointment. read more

These people really need to get it together or make some sort of exception when similar circumstances like this happen. This is absolutely ridiculous. Bill and the guys at Discount Tire are exceptional at customer service and making sure you are more than taken care of. Obviously the free tire rotation and flat tire repair is a life saver, but their timeliness and professionalism is what will drive me back to this location. When I walked into the store, Bill quickly greeted me with a firm handshake and a smile, asked me what my problem what and if I had any time constraints. We walked through my situation, inspected my tire, and he ensured they'd take care of me and get me back on the road in no time. After explaining the tread of my tires and finishing up the paperwork, he gave me a timeline as to when to come back in for my next rotation. These guys are doing a great job amidst the COVID epidemic. They have you park outside and an employee comes out to check you in; they all wear masks; they have you drive your own car into the bay and onto the lift; they tell you to take your keys - that is, no one gets inside your car at all; they bring you your receipt when done. You can choose to wait inside sitting on distanced chairs or outside in the fresh air. My tire rotation and balance took just a few minutes. All with a positive friendly attitude. I got a flat tire and everyone I knew said go to Discount. First time there and I can say I was very impressed. Garrett was professional and explained everything thoroughly in a way that made me feel informed. He said it should be able to be patched, but if it couldn't they wouldn't do anything else without my say, so good to hear! He called me to say it was done in less than the estimated time. Good service and staff. Ran over a nasty nail. They were not able to do a patch seeing the life of my tires were low we went ahead and ordered a new set seeing they were not in stock. Simple over night delivery and I was in the next day. I've been to another discount in a different state. Liked the experience their but the guys here were another level fantastic. read more

I was a walk in customer because it was a week before an appointment would be available at this location. I had ordered my tires online as they did not have enough in stock. After 3.5 hrs the tires were installed but two had to be redone as the technicians forgot to replace the tire pressure monitors that I had paid for. Two days after I had the tires installed at this location I had to file a fraud report with my credit card for unauthorized purchases. The tires themselves are awesome but the experience as a whole stunk! read more

Unfortunately, I spent three hours today to have a tire repaired. I had communicated my time constraints at the beginning of the visit. The worst case time was exceeded by an hour as they lost my keys. (I couldn't believe it, but was told they couldn't find them). I understand they were busy and tried, but after over 25 years, I have lost the confidence I once had with Discount Tire. They are hard-working, diligent in their efforts, but have fallen short over the last couple of years. Although I will use another company for my needs, I do hope they are able to turn it around. read more

I wish Shomar worked at all of my favorite shopping haunts, my life would be so much easier. It's a good day when you stop to peruse and end up walking out with a purchase. I've been shopping for tires all over Denver, doing my homework, researching brands, learning the number/letter speak and yet I have the feeling here that sort of education is unnecessary. They're too busy to be doing anything but offering you the best tire in your price range, within reasonable time expectations. You'll wait a bit here, but bring your laptop or pull up 100 Elevators on your iPhone - the time and money is well spent. read more

I placed an order and made an appointment online at discounttire.com Monday night for first thing Tuesday morning. I show up and am greeted at the door at 8AM by a gentleman with my online order in hand. A quick check that we had the order correct, hand off the keys, and they're off to work on 4 new tires for my car. I went down the street to a coffee shop with my laptop and had a cup of joe while catching up on email. Come back ~1.5 hrs later, car is ready to go. Correct tires, correctly inflated, and nothing damaged. I'm a gear head, and I've had my share of bad experiences at a tire shop, so I carefully check things. I hit the freeway, wheels are perfectly balanced, no pull left or right, totally smooth. Can't ask for more than that from a tire shop. 5 stars. read more
