I really enjoy this location and the service I receive. It's not the closest location to me, but the team here is dialed. Heber, Thomas and Davis go the extra mile. read more

Went in to get the pressure changed in the tires on my little truck. They hook it up to a cool machine that takes the tires to the correct pressure and stops. I asked them to check the pressure in the spare under the bed and set it to the same pressure as the other 4. He asks wouldn't I rather set it to the max pressure?(60#) I've done tire repair dating back to 1988. I politely tell him no set it like the rest. He crawls under the truck then tells me the pressure is to low for his fancy machine and it won't air up the tire. He tells me if I get the tire out from under the truck they can put it in the cage and air it up there. Umm... No! Instead I took the truck over to the air pump at Walmart and paid to put 40# of air in my tire. Sometimes simple is better and my time is valuable. read more

I went in not knowing if I had a warranty still and had a tread issue. The guy brings a tread scanner and says they all are showing in the good tread green but where the issue was there is wearing so he cannot honor the warranty that I did still have. He said all the tires show they are fine on the machine but he's a specialist and he can see wear on the inside and even one spot will terminate the warranty then followed it up that he would find a spot on every tire do I won't be using my warranty. I need new tires because on AWD you have to replace them all but they only have 2 so I buy the front two. I go to car and ask if they need anything from me. They said no. I'm standing outside and look over.... My stuff from my trunk (keep in mind I'm traveling) is on the bay floor!! My CPAP is opened and laying there! My BRA was on the floor of my trunk! Bags in the ground. I attached a picture of after they put things back in. My cooler was on front passenger floor and they put it on seat crushing my rayband glasses to get into my glovebox and left it! They did not ask for permission to get in trunk or glovebox and I asked if they needed anything moved he said no. I told them it was unacceptable and one employee apologized and said he thought the guy asked and said he knows he's rude and he just is young so doesn't know yet but he's sorry. That young guy ran over and said oh yeah sorry I forgot. They said they could wipe my stuff off with chemical wipes. It gets worse.... I get to my airbnb and walk to passenger side and see my rim. It is scratched up with gouges from them. I can see the marks lining up with the tires marks from new tire. So I have my partner call them since I'm beyond frustrated and it's been about a month and the manager won't even return our phone calls. I get to my hometown and get my back 2 tires done and they say they would have warrantied those tires and there was no excuse for my experience there. I still have yet to get my rim fixed, my glasses replaced, or even a return call to find a solution to the issues they have caused. read more

Purchased brand new wheels for my brand new truck from them and they put them on for me. I took it home and the wheel was shaking as if it was not balanced correctly. I then took it back for them to re balance and once again it was not balanced. Even worse, I took a look at the back wheel and they completely scratched the inner wall of my brand new wheel when trying to move the balance weights. I took it back again and showed them, and they said they would get me another wheel. but when I asked them to put that wheel on my spare, because I had already got it ceramic coated, he charged me half price on the extra wheel, at full cost, not even at what they could buy them for at the time. Manager was very rude and it took them 2 and a half hours from my arrival to complete the new tire and balance. best part of it all is that it still isn't balanced..... never going back read more

Davis was absolutely amazing, I had a blow out on my driver side tire, came in to replace it. They saw my passenger side tire was about to be gone as well, I didn't have the functional funds at the time for both tires, they worked with me and got me the second tire that fit my budget making sure I was set for the road! Thanks Discount Tire! read more

Stopped here because woke up with a low tire. They found a screw in one tire. After confirming it had sufficient tread, they fixed it for free. Riley promised ready at 9:30, 2 people in front of me. Delivered at 9am. I like places that under promise and over deliver. Note i can get on with way travels with out concern for my tires. Thank You. Side note, these were factory tires, soo did not c purchase from them. Although in the past I have bought tires from them and I believe they rotate those for free. read more

took vehicle in due to a vibration and after told new tires will fix the issue. Again, told to have tires, balance, and an alignment done. vibration did not go away and the shop did not say anything about it. when pressed they didnt look at it. now I'm at a car shop to find the issue. great tires and great discounts, which why they are getting two stars and not 1 star. read more

Set an appointment online. They were an hour late to even start. Then refused to fix a flat on a tire which was not worn out down to the tread bars. Would also not do a tire rotation. ONLY wanted to sell new tires. Go somewhere else that actually has good service. Never again with Discount tire. FYI, they will also leave you in the cold with a snow tire change over if your tire dates are what they consider out of date. Even if the tires are like new. read more

When you have these young kids working here like Grady who have no clue what they are doing. They come to work hung over and possibly recovering from a night of partying. To trust them to put tires on your vehicle you drive daily is scary. The managers should really watch who they hire. It's reckless to not do background checks. Dear business owner, Asking for me to send you my personal information is not ok. I gave a review on here for a reason. Maybe you should do your due diligence and take the necessary actions by doing background checks. Since they are working on vehicles and for safety of your customers. read more

Somewhere along the line, I picked up a screw in my tire and with it, a slow leak. I brought my vehicle in to Discount first thing in the am on the day after turkey day to get it repaired. The gentleman who assisted me gave me a projected time that it would be completed and off I went to grab a cuppa. Imagine my surprise when I got a text message much sooner than anticipated letting me know that my vehicle was ready. Picked up my vehicle and was sent on my way with no charge, and a pleasant experience. read more

I made an appointment to switch tires from 1 set of rims to another and balance those. Prior query estimate was around $145 to get this done. I came in and was told $181 for the work. Called the Garden City Discount Tire and was told it would be $146. Called Les Schwab and was told $143. I was gouged but them and even with an appointment still waited 1.5 hours for tire swaps. I really liked this location years ago when I first gave them my business and have bought 3 sets of tires from them. I am done with them now. read more

Typically good service, but after doing an alignment before a road trip, my steering wheel is off by 20 degrees. I don't recommend them for alignment read more

A great group of people who take care of your tire needs right away, polite and progressional with very fair pricing!

I never have any complaints about Discount Tire. This location proved to be the same excellent service when I needed a tire rotation. Despite me scheduling an appointment at 1pm on a weekday, apparently the walk-ins had caused the wait time to be loooong. Patrick (who I believe was my rep for the day) quoted me an hour and a half, so I ran some errands while I waited. He was very friendly and informative. I ended up receiving a text and a call letting me know that my car was ready only after an hour. They didn't charge me anything for the rotation even though I have only replaced one tire on this particular vehicle through Discount Tire. Awesomeeee! Will definitely return. read more

My initial experience was generally positive. I selected the tires and the store staff assisted me with the order and an appointment for installation. Install went fine...reasonably fast. At the time of the installation, the staff told me to come back to the store after I had driven the car 100 miles so they could check and re-torque the lug nuts. This is a 1.25 hour round trip for me so I found a gap in my calendar and went back to the shop this morning. The staff member at the store told me that a re-torque wasn't necessary and essentially "dismissed" me - he was quite indignant and uncaring about my waste of time. I suggested that they re-train their staff and pretend like they care. read more

My car was in desperate need of new tires. My husband researched which tires he wanted, and looked for the best buy. Which led us to Discount Tires. We stopped in after stopping in at one of the neighboring stores, received an estimate on what it would cost and my husband was greatly happy with the price and ordered tires. The next week they arrived and were installed while we had lunch across the street. read more

Spoke with one of their long-term employees James, he was very helpful and overall; a great person to speak with. I let him know my concerns and he had a solution to what I was needing. I then when into the shop and spoke with Davis, he was great help with making sure my tire sizes were in stock in the brand I wanted and was able to quote me when my tires will be in be installed. They ended up coming in the next day! Overall experience was great! read more

Here as a first time visitor to Idaho. In rental car and it seems I ran over a mail of some sort. Stopped in and the minute I walked in I felt like a regular customer. I only shop for tires at discount tires and have for over 20 years. For me that's a lot of wheels and tires. Every time I go they are fast, friendly and efficient. I have never left disappointed. Each visit it seems the staff in the shop are having fun yet working hard and fast. I'm always in abs out quickly and love to see the staff having fun while at work. They would get zero stars if that was an option. They take my money but fail to change my tire to a spare even though I needed it to get back to them to buy a whole new set and left me stranded. I had a flat tire. I asked how much to repair it? They said it's free, the catch was the puncture has to be dead center of the tire tread. Which most of my tire punctures aren't, and this wasn't. My two star review isn't because they were mean or rude. It's because I had to go to their competitor to get my issue fixed. The customer rep was courteous and did his best to sell me a used tire, with all off the reasons why I should spend the money. I'm not upset about them trying to get me to buy a tire or make a sell, it's the right business decision for them. I also get they have standards in how they fix tires, they don't fix holes in the side walls of tires. My dissatisfaction is because they didn't even try, and their competitor did. I will do business with the thier competitor in the future. read more

I was very pleased with the fast greeting when I came in the door. I came back when my appointment was and all was well. I waited the hour they said it would be. Finally 20 minutes later I got up and asked if my truck was ready. Only complaint I have is no one let me know it was finished. They were real busy so I can understand. I will continue to give them my business but hope next time I won't have to waste an extra 20 minutes while my truck sits in the parking lot. read more

Gave me a military discount which was nice. Fast and friendly service. Lowest price around.

Wouldn't rotate my tires because they aren't the ones that came with the truck. I have a 2016 ram 2500 outdoorsman my wheels and tires are from a 2017 ram 2500 powerwagon. I was told by discount that they wouldn't touch them, even tho last time I went to have them mounted and placed on the truck costing me $30 per tire it was fine. I don't think I will be back anytime soon or ever, even tho I am looking for new KO2s for my truck in the next 6 months or so. UPDATE: After writing this review I received a phone call from the store apologizing for the frustration I had about the situation and offered to refund my fee they charged me 6 months ago. read more

Don't really have expectations from this establishment as I have never used their services before. I had appointment set and arrived about 10 or so minutes before my appointment and waited while the staff behind the counter helped the customer they were currently with. Upon completion with the customer ahead of me the staff member then proceeded to walk right past me and over to a gentleman who appeared to have walked in after, I proceeded to let the staff membe know I was there first and had to repeat myself about three times before he actually answered me. He then looked from me to the man, then back to me a few times and asked to help the man first. I understand that helping this man was obviously going to be a much shorter interaction but that is beside the point, the point is I showed up for an appointment and was invisible to staff and bypassed and still helped after the fact. I then come back just before closing to pick my vehicle up and see my vehicle sitting near the entrance/exit unlocked with the windows down with my personal belongings and work badge/sensitive information just sitting there unprotected. Ans the best I got was an "I'm sorry" I am mortified at the level of service and incompetency I experienced at what I feel like is at the expense of unfortunately being female. Do better. read more
