I am thankful for a highly rated unit plus a company that stands behind their customers. Thank you, Alex. In my opinion, this is the only A/C company that I will work with in Sarasota/Bradenton! A+++ I was petrified to bring an A/C service person to my house. Each time I thought I found an air conditioning company I could trust, up came horror stories or rip-off/scam reviews online. A few wanted to send someone first to "inspect" my home before sending a tech to do my annual maintenance. HUH? Friends also shared horror stories. I had all but given up and felt my father-in-law and I would always be servicing my A/C units until the end of time (more him than me). However, I have to fear no more! Wentzel's was great. Tanya worked around my dynamic schedule. Tim showed up early and was friendly, professional and "real." He got right to work, but took the time to literally explain each task he did while I followed him. Genuine, sincere, hardworking and honest. Left every area he worked in cleaner than he found it. Though I rarely write reviews online, there was no way I could let another "me" sit out there, searching in frustration, trying to find an A/C company they could trust. I assure you I found one and as it stands now, I expect to be a lifer.

We had an issue with AC unit drain line clogging back in August. Called mobile air to schedule a…read moreservice. Dilan came to clean out the drain and reroute the line. Although it was regularly maintained by another company the gunk Dilan flushed out was enough to make my stomach turn. AC has been working optimum since then with huge benefits of decreased monthly bill after service. Called again sometime in October for air duct and dryer vent cleaning. Owner came out, scoped the size of work then gave us a quote on-site. Shopped around to have another company come out for another bid. Mobile air was about 100 more but the thorough walk through per Jody and previous work satisfaction sold me out. Scheduled service a week after but rescheduled twice due to delays in Solar install. I wanted to clean ducts after all roof work was done, so relieved mobile air was more than accommodating to requests. Corey and his partner finally got to work 12.10. Took roughly 4 hours to completion. They left everything as is, vacuumed areas below the vents leaving no mess. We have been very happy with results. AC unit is blowing cooler air. We use to keep the house at 70 during the day, 68 degrees at night. Now we keep it at 75 and 72. Hubby also noticed his southwest facing office is not a sauna anymore. Crazy amount of dusts is a common complaint in our neighborhood, ducts we're never clean post build. Also, I have severe allergies to dust mites, I would wipe/dust every corner of my house including baseboards and around door trims 1-2x/month. Vacuum at least 3x a week (yes I'm paranoid), now I don't notice as much dust and have cut down on vacuuming to once a week. So happy with Mobile Air's services. It's worth the money spent. No more sneezing but more importantly saving on electricity bill every month. Staff are awesome too, very responsive, punctual and crazy polite.

The technician arrived, and I mentioned that the bedroom is always a few degrees warmer than the rest of the condo. He went outside, came back in a few minutes and told me that there must be a blockage in the ducting, and I needed a whole new unit, which would be 10-12K. I was astonished, because I own a number of properties, and it has never cost anywhere near that for an 800 sq ft. condo! I said I didn't want to spend that kind of money right now, and I'd jst purchase a home warranty on the property, which I had planned to do anyway. That way when the AC stopped working they would repair or replace it. He stepped outside, then came in and said his boss wanted to talk to me. The "boss" got on the phone and told me very severely that my unit needed replacing. I told him "No thank you. I don't wish to spend this amount at this time." He then said, "My technician told me that you are planning to buy a home warranty. That is insurance fraud, which I don't suggest doing in the state of Florida. EXCUSE ME?????? I told him that since the unit is functioning - if I purchase a home warranty there is no fraud taking place. This unit could run another year, 2 years, 10 years! It is not acting any differently than when I purchased the unit and had a home inspector check it out! His response was, " NO! It is broken and you need to get a new unit NOW!" When a company puts on the full court press like this, it is definitely a scam. They feel that if they scare a woman into believing them, we will buy what they are selling. I'm sure they looked up the ownership, saw it was in my name and figured they'd take advantage of a widow or single woman. I would avoid this company AT ALL COSTS!
