ALECO installed a new Trane HVAC system 2 years ago. New units are only the beginning of living in Florida. Proper maintenance and reviewing systems are essential to a comfortable and secure lifestyle. Alex came for our annual maintenance. He found a capacitor that wasn't at full capacity. It was replaced at no cost under warranty. He also ran vinegar on the drain line and replaced our filter which required a latter. I am thankful for a highly rated unit plus a company that stands behind their customers. Thank you, Alex. If you are thinking about replacing your HVAC or have serving issues, I highly recommend contacting ALECO. read more

Alex and team are amazing! They installed our AC a couple years ago and are always quick to respond when help is needed. They have great pricing and always very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this team. read more

We were always extremely happy with Aleco but now that it has merged with Elevate we are extremely disappointed. We placed a call for a 4 year old air conditioner with a 5 year warranty on Friday as it is not cooling at all and the house is extremely hot. We were told that they would come on Saturday and now they say they cannot come until Monday. Aleco was open 24/7 and would have been here Sunday if they couldn't have mad it on Saturday. We are very unhappy and would not recommend Elevate to anyone. read more

Came for a routine maintenance and said I would owe thousands of dollars for a service saying my AC was messed up. Got a Second opinion from another AC company who said nothing was wrong with my AC. The person from the other company said that ALECO was trying to rip me off. Take that how you will. read more

Second time using Aleco to diagnose and resolve our AC issue and the service was still as great as it was last year. Alex and team answered our call on a Saturday and came out to look the same night. They found the root cause of the problem, provided honest recommendations, and got to work until past midnight to get it done. Prices are very reasonable as well. We've spent countless dollars using other companies only to have repeated issues. Will definitely use Aleco going forward. read more

I am so impressed with the quality of work from this company! Ryan was ahead of schedule, so he called to see if he could come early! Absolutely! He was the best OCD AC guy we have ever met! Our units looked brand new after his maintenance service! He took his time and explained everything that was happening and how to maintain between services! I will be sure to ask for Ryan every time! We are lifetime clients now! Thank you for taking your time, and expertise today! read more

We had to evacuate from hurricane Helena and when we returned home we discovered our AC was not working . We have used Aleco in the past when we rented we called them right away and they got to us the next day ( amazing in itself) I'm telling you this company is amazing ! They went above and beyond ( seriously) in making sure we had air conditioning working and safe as mold grew so quickly ! Aleco made this affordable and they have a Big heart for people , just incredible family owned people they feel like family ! A big hug from my wife and hand shake from my me and a snack for the ride to the next stop Aleco you truly are amazing and a God send to us!! Thank you! read more

In the midst of the pandemic, one of the hottest heat waves that we have had in June, add in we had a sick newborn baby, what is one of the worst things that could happen? Our AC unit finally bites the dust. And who came to our rescue? Alex and the crew at ALECO! In addition to their prompt response and availability, they offer extremely competitively priced units, parts, service calls, etc. Anytime that we have either needed regular maintenance, service etc., they have always jumped at hopping on it to assist us. It truly feels like they care how important a functioning and quality AC unit is for a family at this day and age, and with living where we do in Florida. Truly grateful for this company and all of their loyal and helpful team members! read more

My AC stopped working and I went to yelp and got 7-8 quotes - most companies want to get on the phone or their first availability is a Monday... not ALEX. He responded at 10 PM on a Friday night and offered to arrive ASAP (we opted for the next day). John was the tech who arrived at our home - quick, Knowledgeable, and pleasant too! Alex is very responsive and incredibly helpful when i had questions the day after service. I was skeptical about all of the 5 star reviews but this company is 100% the real deal. Stop looking for other quotes and pick this one! read more

We were very impressed with our brand new HVAC system and Alec who made sure that everything worked well. We had one issue a day later but Alec came to sort it out. The reason for the two star rating is that Alec had said they would come back a year later to do a routine service. We called them after a year and was told they will not honor the routine service because they will not come to Venice any longer. After spending thousands of dollars on a brand new system, we were shocked to be "abandoned " read more

I requested maintenance on our roof unit. They came out promptly and informed me that the unit was a block of ice and not working at all and we would need a new unit at the cost of around $35000.00. This was a bit of a surprise because the unit is blowing cold air and working fine. Our landlord was informed and had another company come inspect the unit. They informed us that the unit was old, but working fine. They also showed us that no maintenance had been done to the unit at all. IE drain stilled clogged, coils still very dirty. We paid for a service did not receive said service and lied too about the condition of the unit. when I spoke with the owner I was basically told to F myself. I have used them in the past and they were great. Now they are under new ownership and are terrible. Sorry to see this company go to S**t. Scammers read more

Had no heat. Came around 4PM and worked until 9:00PM and partially fixed problem. Came back early next day to complete project with a replacement part. Great service read more

Alex was amazing with customer service at its best. Explained everything that he was doing, with a personal show and tell as to what was needed, and what failed. When it came time to look up and price equipment to fix, he checked possible avenues to cost savings to include possible warranties, military discount etc. Had me up and running in no time. OBTW I initially phoned several other companies to include Massey, none called back except this one! Highly recommended! read more

Our second positive interaction with Aleco for scheduled maintenance on our 1 year old AC. Service from Ryan, who was prompt, efficient, very knowledgeable and informative in his recommendations. Our high comfort level with his level of professionalism in a world of scams and mistrust is most important in recommending Aleco for HVAC service. read more

This morning I was told by another company that I needed two new AC units. The salesman told me the cost would be $31,000. When he saw I wasn't pleased he started lowering the price and we ended up at $18,000. I just didn't feel right with someone that wanted to make that type of profit off of me. I called Alex he came out and fixed both of my units for under $1100. He restores my faith in service companies. He was honest and quick to respond. It was my lucky day and now I am going to tell all my friends about this wonderful company. read more

Aleco AC sold us a new AC in 2022 and did a great job initially. We had problems with the AC keeping the temp where it was set during the summer. We continued to have problems, but at a point Aleco threatened to remove the unit and leave. When we agreed to remove it, they then refused to do such. Please be careful! read more

I had already left for work and the wife calls and says the AC smells like its burning. I have her turn off the breakers and I call ALECO. They returned my call in less than 1 minute and they had a tech come out the same day. The tech identified the issue corrected it. He also gave the system a health check and all is good. If you want fast, reliable, and trustworthy service then these are your guys. Highest recommendation!!! read more

I am a new customer of Aleco and I couldn't be happier. Their customer service and responsiveness were refreshing and excellent when I called them on more than one occasion for assistance and advice and received excellent responses. If you are looking for a truly good AC company, that is ALECO AC. I went through trial & error with 3 other AC companies. ALECO has a very receptive & competent phone greeter Carlos - who will get you set up soon with an appt. ALECO has good prices and they do not try to sell you something that you don't really need. They are receptive, reliable, and honest and have the best hours, too. read more

An honest, competent, reasonably priced, on time/responsive business that flawlessly executed a difficult to install residential 5 ton heat pump package in one day. A pleasure to deal with in an industry that is known for shoddy rip-offs, scams and broken promises. I hope they continue to maintain their business practices and earn your 5 star review as they did mine and others. read more

Great service and works with your budget! Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood! 85 Characters done! Great place!

I am still in awe of my family's positive experience with Alex & ALECO AC. It is my pleasure to write this review because his exceptional service is absolutely worthy of my time. Not only is he the most humble, courteous, & warm human being, but he is a master technician when it comes to HVAC repair and new installation. Alex arrived at our home the evening of the same day service call & did not leave that evening until our system was running. It was the best experience my family could have despite all of the worry prior to Alex arriving. Not only was our experience this positive, but also our neighbors across the street share the same sentiments with their service from ALECO. We are so grateful for the honesty & approach during a stressful time. We will go no where else & it's such a pleasure to know this is a local family business to support. It was a such a pleasure to meet & have Alex work in our home. We HIGHLY recommend ALECO & are so grateful we chose them out of the choices we had. Thank you, Alex! Our Air Conditioner was 20 years old and was not keeping up with the setpoint. We got an inspection from ALECO and the whole inside of the Air Handler was heavily corroded/molded and in need of replacement. Alex came out and showed us the problem and offered to get us a quote which we did. We scheduled it for two days from the inspection and two servicemen came out and worked hard the whole day to replace the old Air handler and the Heat exchanger outside. Two more people arrived to help clean up the old parts and put them on a trailer to haul off. Alex showed up near the end to help me understand home the new unit worked. It was all hands on deck and everyone had a role but it was done and looking nice in one day. The Trane a/c unit works great, it has a UV light in it to kill mold and a surge protector to protect the unit when it lightenings. It seems much more efficient and dehumidifys the air in the house. All in all, it was a good professional experience, and they sent us a box of filters to help keep it clean. I would use them again if I needed a/c service. read more

Fast, friendly service that I would definitely recommend to a friend. It was absolutely worth my time to call these guys as I did leave the situation a satisfied customer read more

I've got to agree with the other reviews here. I had the exact same experience. I came home from a short vacation during this record setting heat wave to find my AC out and the INSIDE of my house was 92 degrees. I replaced a capacitor. No luck. Then I called ALECO because they had great reviews. They answered my call on a Saturday morning, had John out immediately to diagnose the problem, and a crew with a new AC unit showed up in the afternoon. Those guys worked till 11 pm, got everything installed, and we were able to sleep in comfort that night. Unbelievable. These guys earn their stars. read more

Wonderful! We highly recommend and I rarely write reviews. I am thankful to have found a very professional company that does exceptional work. We have been with another AC company since 2006 and received great service until about 6-9 months ago when they were bought out by a conglomerate. Since then their service has not been very good. We paid for a monthly contact to get quick service when we had any problems with our Air conditioning and Heating yet the past 2 times we needed them to come out when we had problems with our AC or Heating it has taken over 48 hours to get service. The last time this happened was yesterday when we came home from a trip to no heat. It got down to 43 last night so we called Aleco who we have never used before. They came to fix our heater within 5 hours. They were great! They came quickly and diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 30 minutes. We want to change our allegiance to them but unfortunately we have a warranty with the other company. As soon as that is over, we're changing to Aleco. Thanks so much Aleco for helping us to stay warm last night! read more

Extremely professional, respond quickly do great work at very reasonable prices. I will never use anyone else and will recommend them to everyone. read more

My air conditioner was 25 years old and suddenly stopped in the middle of the night. I looked up Aleco because a friend of mine told me about them and they had an A+ at the better business bureau. I called four companies to give me quotes. Aleco came in at $2,000 less than the lowest quote I got...and their quote had more items in it than the most expensive quote I received!! I interacted with Alex as well as an installer and a technician, which were all extremely kind and passant to work with. They unexpectedly upgraded my air conditioner to a better one when ordering it without raising the price. Alex provided me with outstanding communication and service. After the installation was over I had a problem with learning how to use the thermostat - they sent a technician over on the same day, in the evening, to go through it with me. This is truly an A+ company, my only complaint is that they don't do plumbing, electrical and flooring too! read more

Great company. They came out and fixed our air conditioner the Friday before Easter at night. I called 3 companies when we notice it stopped working after 7pm. This company was the only one that answered and came out within a couple hours. Professional and very personable. They even had a part with them and fixed at a reasonable price. In the future we will be calling them for maintenance and service. Thank you for the great service!!! read more

My technician, John, was on time friendly & professional. The final price of the repair was reasonable & fair based on other repairs I've had on this & other AC systems I've had in the past. The analysis & repair was done in a short period of time and within an hour we had cold air coming out of the AC vents. They were able to come the same day that I called, where as others wanted to put me off for a day or two & wanted more money. So, we didn't have to endure lack of air conditioning for 2 or 3 days & nights in this time of hot & humid weather. My wife & I are very grateful we called this company to do our AC repair. read more

SUPERIOR! My AC was out and I reached out at 6am on a SUNDAY and received a response FROM Alex within minutes. My appointment was set and confirmed right then and there! John arrived and diagnosed the problem and gave me a fantastic estimate to replace a malfunctioning float switch. There was no *service call fee* and only paid once I received the estimate and agreed to repair. I will ONLY use ALECO in the future. Honest, trustworthy and great communication!!!! Thank you so much! read more
