The area of the damage in my foyer has nothing to do with the hurricanes. It is nowhere near where the soffit and facia was damaged. I even had Beatles one of your managers. To inspect the far end of the attic to see if there was water damage due to the hurricanes, and there was none she even climbed over one of the ducts to get to the far end of the attic The damage was nowhere near the area of the foyer, and you have no clue what I got from my insurance company if I got anything you blew in New insulation, and the contract reads remove all old debris. Had you done your job as the contract states this you would've seen two ductwork that were laying on the floor. and when the two independent Air-Conditioning companies came to evaluate the situation there were actually four ducks that you totally neglected to hang. This is your job to do this!!!! I hate to think about all the homes that you have neglected in such a manner. Both companies agreed that the issue was from the two ducts laying on the floor and not hung as well as the mold mediation company. Shame on you and your company. I don't know how you sleep at night. As far as the venting area, you're speaking of it has a roof over it. It has nothing to do with the moisture and has never blown any moisture inside. The fact of the matter, also is that I paid for my whole attic to have new blown insulation and you did not do that job, you failed to remove any old debris, stated in your contract was absolutely no new insulation when the ceiling came out for rebuild only the old stuff fell through run from this company. read more

Adam came over to fix the problem of our AC unit cooling for a while, and then still running, stopped cooling. In a short time, Adam located two faulty sensors. After replacement, the unit came back to life, full speed. Great Job. About six months ago, Adam gave us a second opinion, when our usual company claimed we needed major work. Adam adjusted something, and like magic, the unit worked once again. We fired our company and switch over to Anthony's. We feel very confident they know what they are doing. Where would it have gone and why would I lie? 3) you only bought a new ecobee because I posted a review everywhere I could and held your portable units until the issue was resolved. 4) I said I would post an update that you bought a new ecobee but since you would not resolve the issue willingly I did not feel it was right to outright remove them. I did update the Google reviews but missed this one. So here is your update, the business manager is writing inaccurate replies and never fully resolved the issue by repairing the wall. Charlie B came out at the specified time to diagnose an electrical fail in one of my units. My tenants had been without power overnight because of this issue. Charlie diagnosed the electrical fail and went back to the warehouse to get service panel parts and breakers. He fixed the problem in record time from the time I called in the morning and had my tenants up and running within a couple hours. It was a big job but I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I didn't think the price was bad either considering it could have been a much bigger issue. I have used this company to maintain my brand new Trane system. They used the wrong size filter, twice to my knowledge. the last time they did this, the filter was too small allowing dirt to accumulate on the evaporator coil. This made water drip onto the filter and stop any filtering of the system. To remedy the situation, I spent $730 to install a light to eliminate dust accumulation. I have contacted Anthony's twice to remedy the situation and they still have failed to respond much less address their short comings. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

I have them for maintaining routine twice a year. They never bother to check heater which I requested to check it while they are maintaining with air conditioning just to make sure the heater is running as well. Until cold weather comes, I turned on heater - nothing warm air comes in my house, it's running cold air!! Very disappointed with Anthony's service! We had an issue where I a/c just stopped blowing cold air. The outside unit would kick on and after 15-20 seconds it would turn off. The air handler would continue to run. It started to get hot in our house fast so I got on the phone and started calling someone to come and fix it. My first call was to one of the big companies in the Bay area but they couldn't come out until the next day! I wasn't going to sleep in the heat so I kept going. Got the same response from the 2nd place I called. I found the number for Anthony's and gave them a call. Spoke to a really nice person on the other end and they told me they could get someone out the same afternoon! I set everything up and around 1 pm they called and told me someone was on the way. I also received an email with information on the tech that would be doing the service. The young man showed up. I explained the situation and he knew what the problem was right away. He had the part on his truck and had the system blowing cold air in no time! He also did a quick check of the outside unit, the inside air handler and the drain. Very professional and nice young man (sorry, I don't recall his name). The service was not cheap though. I used another HVAC place for years until they stopped servicing my area and the prices were less. I did have a bit of sticker shock when he gave me the invoice but was just happy to have cold air! I did sign up prior to the appointment on a 1 year service plan that should give me discounts, and not sure if it was reflected on my first service call or not (again, just happy to have cold air). Speaking of the maintenance/service plan - I paid $189 up front for the year (previous HVAC was $25/month) and with this plan I get 2x/year full service system maintenance w/free filter replacement, priority service and a 5% discount on service. I will preface this with...I'm not one to write a review but I would be doing Anthony's a disservice if I didn't. Straight A's!!! Eric called to notify me he was on his way and I let him know that in addition to performing our annual service for our Central Air unit, the air was not working. He got right to work on the unit and quickly confirmed our suspicion that our drain pipe was clogged. Once he got the unit running he began the maintenance. He was more thorough than anyone who'd ever serviced the unit prior, I won't name names.... He explained everything he did, potential concerns, root cause of the issues and remediated a few other issues. In addition, he cleaned our dryer vent and explained other services our annual service contract included. We've also used Anthony's for electric work and that work also exceeded expectations. The sales person talked a great talk. Make sure that every screw and duct is included or you will have to pay over the high prices to get your hvac working. Make sure to have fans and a space heater for when you have no ac or heat. Good luck talking to the owner, I am without heat for 2 days now on a 6 month old system that has been fixed 10 times now. Merry Christmas on the coldest day of the year and no heat. The emergency number for on-call said there is no one to help until Monday. I did my research and was still dooped by this company. The owner Mike Zeppe, should be ashamed! Beware of BAD business practices, do your research,, and read the fine print. Just to share our experience with Anthony's, we woke up on Saturday and our air was not working. Since we recently moved to Palmetto, we asked our neighbors to refer an air conditioning service. They referred us to Anthony's. My husband called at 9am in the morning to schedule service. Since we have a 5 month old baby, it was a concern that our house was going to get very hot. We NEVER expected to be put in front of another customer but only wanted a close enough time as to when they would be here. The first comment from the unconcerned office person after my husband said we had a baby was "well I can't help you with that". It would be 3 in the afternoon and that they would call before arriving. 3:30, no call. My husband called to get an update as it was 95 degrees in our house. The same lady said "The tech is on a job then she was finished she was going to another job. After that, we were next. That is the the nature of the beast". Really? At 4:00 we took a chance and called CLIMATIC AIR. Gentleman on the phone answers, how can I help you sir. We explained our situation and the tech said, I am finishing a job and then I will be at your residence in approx. an hour and a half. They were here before that. My husband called Anthony's back, cancelled the appt. and told the very rude lady that we were going to give her a bad review. Miraculously, within 5 minutes, their tech called and said she was on the way. TOO LATE. CLIMATIC AIR will be installing a new air conditioning unit. read more

Unbeknownst to me and not really sure if its legal to record someone without their knowledge .. Regardless she never called back. Still acting like they are OK with overcharging and not preforming any work for a fee. I hope others read this and use someone else like Scotties or Air and Energy if on Anna Maria island or any where. The salesman acted like a know it all and started making up services and equipment I would need to get a new system install. After research the extras I supposedly needed were completely false. I had a new system installed by someone else and I think that ticked them off. The office has no interest in making things right. She kept complaining about my screen name and had no explanations that made sense. Erica P is being untruthful with her response. Most of the reviews you see here are posted by family or a friends as most people dont remember the name who serviced their equipment . So reviews that start like "Mike P came out" are more than likely false and probably Mikes wife. Anthony's has been our AC provider for many years. We bought our AC from them and have had them servicing our systems for 20+ years. Like many other businesses, they must be having trouble attracting and retaining quality service techs. We have had several issues over the last three years, since Covid, with reliable and professional service calls. Our last service tech, Adam, turned the power off during a maintenance check which turned our thermostat off and left without checking or resetting it. So we were left with no working thermostat and he had to drive all the way back to reset it for us. Just a little extra attention to detail and we would Not have been upset and dissatisfied when he left and we discovered a non-working thermostat . That type of service does not instill confidence. I am hoping that things change there and their techs gain experience and they once again can provide the kind of service we grew to expect from them. read more

Pretty bad service. They did a sloppy job when I had an emergency with my AC. And the problem repeated again multiple times.

Had a new roof put on our home. The roofer's put a nail thru our ac line set. All the Freon leaked out we found out later. Called Anthony's cooling for help. They sent over a ac tech named Joey. As Joey was checking my AC I asked were he went to school for ac repair. He replied he didn't his friend taught him. After changing a lot of parts and the AC still not working.Joey couldn't find anything else wrong so he called his boss. His boss told him connect nitrogen to the line set and listen for leaks. That worked he finally found the problem. I asked Joey if I really needed the parts since the AC was still not working. His answer was yes ? His wife/girlfriend keep calling and he couldn't stay to fix it. He charged us 600.00 dollars and he went home. After I called numerous times the next morning to get someone to finish the work. The finally sent someone over. The new tech soldered the hole and filled the system with Freon. The person charged me a 1000.00 dollars. So 1600.00 later my air freezes every night. Now sure how Joey performed the maintenance on my none working ac he charged me for. I'm afraid to call them back it will probably be another 1000.00 dollars. I was informed the incompetent tech was fired. I always used Anthony's cooling before this and never had a problem. read more

Our family owns a mobile home in Palmetto. We needed to replace the air conditioning unit and wanted a heat pump. We were told that the old electric system would not support a heat pump, so we decided to upgrade the electrical also. Since Anthony's does both and had stellar reviews, and we really liked their people, we decided to go with them, even though their quote was a little higher than competing bids. Through no fault of anyone, the project turned to be way more complex than it initially appeared. What was supposed to take a few hours turned into days and multiple times of coordination with Florida Power and Light. When things get difficult, the true integrity of a business is uncovered, and Anthony's proved themselves golden! Never was there an attempt to renegotiate the contract, though we wouldn't have blamed them. They kept in touch with us to let us know what was happening even when we had to head out of state. After a competitor painted a doom and gloom picture and gave me bad info to create urgency leading to a call a week later trying to get me to replace the system entirely , Anthony's educated me and did the job I had just paid that competitor to do servicing the system which competitor clearly did not based on all Anthony's found. I trust these folks. We had a second floor unit go out in early spring 4.5 years ago (during winter it hardly runs so it might have been out for a while) and I called two of the very visible AC contractors (you see their trucks all over town, their ads everywhere) and Anthony's because they seemed big enough to not be fly-by-night but not too big. First company comes, tech inspects it and tells me I have a major leak in my unit (even had a cool gizmo that made a high-pitched squeal when it got near the coil indicating freon leaking at that exact moment) and it would be best to replace it completely. Our home is around 10 years old at this time and the tech tells me about 10 years is all you can expect in the humidity of SW Florida. Okay, happy to hear what you have to say. The company sends out an install expert. First thing, he says "I'm not a salesman." (He's a salesman). He leaves by offering a package deal to fix both the upstairs unit and downstairs with high-efficiency units, etc, etc, etc. Total cost: $14,000+. The other big operator missed their appointment (bad sign). Anthony's tech arrives the next day. Checks the unit and tells me my freon is "bone dry". I tell him that it was just leaking yesterday and he says, "you don't even have a remnant of freon." Then gives me the options and recommends that we just refill with freon. Total cost: $150. Chose that option. Ran great for 2 years and went out again. Call Anthony's again and they discover a leak and suggest applying a stop-gap leak filler and refilling with freon. Cost: $350. Chose that option and it is running great today more than 2.5 years later. Eventually it will give out. However, $500 bought me 4.5 years and counting of use. That's worth $6300 if your annualize the expense of purchasing new 4.5 years ago. Who would you choose? We recommend Anthony's to everybody. Could not be happier with their service and their integrity. Integrity is everything. read more

For 10 yrs Anthonys has been taking care of 3 condo's for me. One at Stoneybrook Golf and country club in Sarasota and 2, at Sanctuary of Bradenton . Never once have they not done a excellent job, but tonight the service was outstanding by GREG... He came out on a SATURDAY NIGHT at 11 pm . One of my tenants was literally suffering from the heat ( its 87 right now ) Greg found that someone had tampered with the outside unit.. Wow! We came home to a hot house with No AC on a Sunday, the night before Labor Day. We called Anthony's at about 9:30 p.m. and a tech arrived at our house within 45 minutes.
