I've had a wonderful experience at a different location and was really hoping for the same here. Walking in this location was very spacious , decor was very trendy and cute. Pretty big bar and they did have live music which was a nice surprise. It was extremely loud though and we barely could talk at the table. We felt pretty rushed the entire time. They are a newer location and it was a Friday night so take that into consideration. Our drinks came out very fast. Coconut drink was very good , coconut marg was nothing like a margarita - way to creamy. Pineapple marg was good. We ordered chips queso , wontons and tots to start. Tots were great. Wontons were a bit soggy but my friend enjoyed them a lot. Queso was very flavorful. Our tacos all had way to much dressing on them. They give you a lot in each taco which was a plus. I had the calamari and cheeseburger taco. Birra taco was everyone's favorite. We had Curros for dessert. Warm and fresh. Overall it was pretty good. I was there 2 nights ago. The food is excellent! My wife and daughter said the drinks were great too. The staff is incredibly friendly, but the food !!!The Food is incredibly fresh , it is different. I'll call it eclectic! But is is absolutely delicious. It is filling so you don't have to over order. It's tough to make a decision , if you are a foodie, about what to get. Always heard good things about this place so I was excited when one was opening in Patchogue. 1. Food, nice size portions, nothing skimpy, prices are fair, very flavorful. I enjoyed my tacos, I think my favorite was the pork carnitas. Just the right about of heat! 8/10. 2. Drinks, they have several options but sadly mine lacked alcohol for a $15 margarita I was expecting something a little more. Tasted more liked watered down fruit punch. 4/10 3. Atmosphere, love the graffiti on the walls, decorated cool had a nice vibe. Music wasn't too loud, but the bar was packed with people screaming which echoed and made it difficult to hear and have my own conversation. 6/10. Overall would I come back again....not sure. I heard our waitress mention to the table next to us that someone threw up all over the bathroom. Real classy....not something I care to hear while I'm eating my food. We loved our time here. The tacos are unique and there is a lot of variety on the menu. I loved the tres leches and cannot wait to try the cannoli chips dessert! We loved trying new things and this place had great food. My only complaint is that is was WAY too loud. With everyone talking, the great amount of people, the music does not need to be on full blast. We were screamed back and forth the whole night saying "what!" half the time. Crowded and loud. Got seated immediately in the back of the restaurant which was empty ( filled in as we dined ). Our server was complimentary and discussed the menu in detail. We started with wings and dumplings. Thai Chili sauce covered the wings and tasted excellent although the wings were tiny. The dumplings ( 4 ) were excellent! As per our server's suggestion we each ordered two tacos. Bacon Cheeseburger Taco, southern fried chicken and roasted cauliflower all were bountiful and tasty. We got told to come to this restaurant by several friends. A place with this many recommendations has to be delicious, right? It was. And on top of delicious food, the hospitality that we received from one of the owners was outstanding. Be prepared to wait on the weekends. We waited close to three hours and actually almost left, but because the man in the front saying he would make it right, we didn't. I have stage IV cancer and unfortunately waiting that long for food is not good. Well, this man got us the table, got the appetizers our, then the entrees. My husband and I love this restaurant. He is gluten free and has never gotten sick. We love the carne asada taco, the chimichurri taco. The birria tacos are great too. As for the fish tacos. Yummy! I have has the Buffalo shrimp, ahi tuna, and the Baja fish taco. All great. I did not like the calamari taco. It tasted great. The calamari was just too cumbersome for the taco. read more

Solid food, but it was over an hour wait for 3 tacos and the food was cold. Tacos were an average price of $6/7 which is overrated for one taco. Really uncomfortable chairs, we came to watch a game and could barley see the television and was uncomfortable in our seats so we left. Went for dinner, Sunday night at 6- we were seated immediately & chose to sit outside. Took 10 minutes for water to come, & 45+ minutes for 2 quesadillas and 2 tacos. We didn't get out of there until 7:45 after arriving at 6pm. There were fatty slinky looking chicken pieces in my shredded chicken quesadilla that made it impossible to continue eating and we were given 1 fork & 1 single napkin, no additional sauces. I assume because we were sitting outside we were forgotten about- so we decided to get our check and go get pizza around the block and head home. Super disappointing this time around. I have never felt compelled to write a negative review on yelp until last night. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait and after waiting over an hour and watching people walk right in and instantly be seated before us just didn't sit well with me and my friends. Stay away from this place on a Friday at least, it's filled with young kids who will be seated before you because they know someone even if you have been waiting over an hour. When asked why this was happening they said someone in my group said we were Judy and a lot of checks were on the table and people would be leaving in two minutes. Made zero sense.
