I'm always trying to support local, even if it means I pay a little more. In this industry especially, I know that I could get something online for a fraction of the price I'll pay in person. But sometimes I don't know what I want, and it helps to see inventory in person. This store does carry a variety of toys, lingerie and novelty items-just what I was hoping. When I visited recently, I was greeted, but not offered assistance. The lady at the counter was having a conversation with a friend-I could tell she was fun and I'd love to talk to her, but didn't want to interrupt. When we went to the counter with our purchase, the friend left and the woman started chatting with us. She was cheerful and friendly and seemed to appreciate the business. If she had offered assistance when we got there, we likely would have bought more. There were a few items we were looking at and would have liked to understand how they worked, etc. But we didn't want to interrupt her, so bought just the one item. The shoe selection here is fabulous! There were several pair that I loved-they were relatively conservative for a store like this. The cleanest and most extensive selection, sex shop I've been in, in a long time. The kind of place where someone who is snot faced and obviously sick can't walk in off the street and just start trying on intimate apparel, Right, April? The prices are fair and selection is huge. The manager, was my favorite part. She was professional and helpful, and managed to deflect several suggestive comments from several patrons, me included, without offending anyone. A real pro. If I could leave a zero star I would. I have been in this store a couple times and have been a loyal customer being that it was the closest store to my house, until now. the first incident stared with them saying they just don't think any of the lingerie would "suit me". then I bought a toy and when I opened it I found a curly black hair and what seemed to be white crust all over the toy. I Called and spoke to the owner and she said I was lying. I came in the next day and the owner was in again she gave me a nasty look and laughed when I told her what happened. Never got a refund. I went here looking for a friends bachelorette party! They have a very wide selection for every budget! Even for the more conservative side they have stuff, and stuff for the more wild side as well! The women who worked with me was very helpful, a lot of the stuff was expensive and over priced, but it was helpful to look at their items and then search online and find it half price on amazon! But I would definitely go back looking for fun party gifts!! This store was fun & had excellent service and a wide inventory of many things! read more

My husband went here to get me some surprise bath bubbles and massage lotion. He said he was nervous but that the lady working helped him find exactly what he wanted, which was so wonderful! I love that he was able to feel helped in a place that otherwise would be uncomfortable to be in. Especially being a guy and by himself. read more

I'm very conservative, painfully so. But I still want to look nice for my husband on special occasions. They are the only ones I've been able to find that sells lingerie that I actually like. Some of their stuff makes me blush, for sure. And their staff are like SUPER rude (seriously, I've been in there about 5 times and each time they were really snobby and looked at me as if I shouldn't be in there, as if I wasn't already uncomfortable enough... I have been in this store a couple times with polar opposite experiences. The first time I went I was the only one in the store and received polite assistance and information from the woman I suppose to be the owner. She was very helpful and friendly. They have a great selection and I found it to be a positive experience. Upon further inspection, I found one of the items I purchased had clearly been returned and taped closed. I soon discovered the reason for the return-the item in the package was not what was displayed on the outside of the box. The inner packaging was still sealed and I figured since it was a manufacturer's error it would not be a big deal to return it. I understood that the store has a clear no-return policy but thought it would not be a problem since it had been obviously been returned by another patron. When I went into the store and politely explained the situation to the same woman who helped me with my purchases I was not only informed I could not return it, but that the item in the package was in fact the same item pictured on the box. I was quite puzzled that she would come to that conclusion. She was completely unapologetic and rude. I could not believe it was the same woman I had worked with before. I could only assume it was because of the holiday season and she was overwhelmed by so many customers or it was her evil twin. At any rate, this store has a great selection but spotty service. If you venture in, I hope you go on a good day when the staff is in an agreeable mood. Be sure to check the packaging thoroughly before you purchase a thing. I was nervous to even walk into this type of a store having never done so before but thought I'd give it a go. Told the woman at the counter I had a question. She went into the back and got the owner who came out and seeing me with a tissue to my face asked me if I was sick. I had a cold so I said yes. She told me to leave-- that she had a new baby in her house and I wasn't welcome there. I was pretty floored. It wasn't like I was hacking or sneezing or touching things. I had a cold. So I asked, just to clarify that she really was telling me to leave, "So you're telling me you don't want me to buy anything?" She said no and told me to get out. So you work in retail--in a store that sells adult sex toys no less-- and think you are not exposing yourself to germs on a regular basis? Whatever the justification she may have the least I can say it that it was handled terribly rudely. So much for making me feel comfortable in an already uncomfortable situation. A) no dressing rooms for the ladies. Although the staff can help you in choosing the exact size you will need you won't always know what it looks like unless you try it on. I understand its a sanitary issue, but I know of other places that offer pantyhose to wear when you try them on. B) I would have to say that lingerie is the only thing this shop is good for. The toys? Well, I bought a Fleshlight there that was defective and torn, I didn't realize this till after the first use, experienced a scratching pain when using it, and upon investigation saw it was torn inside. Not exactly something you search for when the tear is 6 inches into the item. Anyway, dirty joe punsters does not take back used toys, I understand this with all the diseases floating around out there so I went to Fleshlight.com for help. Not only could they NOT help me because I didn't buy it from their website, but I'm wishing I had. The price I paid at the store, $92.and some change, was insanely higher than the $59 online with free shipping. Which brings me to: C) I understand a business needs to offer prices based on their overhead cost, but a 35% increase? I researched their toys and found wholesale prices as if I was running a business like them and found they are making an average of 45% over what they actually pay. If they aren't, then they seriously need to find a new supplier like I was able to in just a couple hours. Tips: the staff is nice, although they didn't offer assistance to me or my wife when we went, but the lady she was talking to on the phone the whole time seemed to portray a friendly fun personality. If your going to go, I suggest get some hands on ideas about what toy you want because first hand sight is always better than pictures. Write down the exact info of the item you want, then go home and search the Internet for the item and I guarantee you will pay 35-50% less with free shipping. Hey, even if its not free shipping you will still be saving money. (And this lower price isn't the wholesale for businesses only price I found. If it was it would be 45-70% less but you have to show a business license for those prices). Hope this helps others so that if they get a toy that is defective after use, they can call the retailer directly and get a replacement like Fleshlight offers without being SOL and out an overly priced amount of money. Dirty Jo Punsters, I know you have overhead cost, but you seriously need to find a new retailer because it was the prices and lack of replacing defective items that drove my business away. read more
