Instead of presenting balanced coverage, certain voices are elevated while others are ignored or unfairly portrayed. The reporting can also be inconsistent and sometimes lacks context, which makes it hard to fully trust what's being shared. I understand it's a small, volunteer-based publication, but if you're going to cover civic matters, journalistic standards matter. Disappointed to say this paper no longer feels like it represents the whole Fullerton community -- just a narrow slice of it.

I needed a 8ftx6ft birthday backdrop to be done in two days. I submitted a project quote here on Yelp and I had several responses from other printing shops including RedDot Printing. I was told my backdrop couldn't be done in two days, I was told that my image's resolution was too small, and other printing shops never responded. Z from RedDot Printing responds within minutes. He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! His price was cheaper than I imagined especially since this was a last minute request. At about 12:30 PM I overheard the bride talking about how she had just received the design for the seating arrangements that day... for the wedding happening tomorrow morning. Naturally, as the best man, I volunteered to get them printed. I started calling print shops nearby and after a couple dead ends, my third call connected me with The Printing Train. From the moment they answered the phone, they were incredibly positive and helpful. Since the request was a bit unusual and very last minute, they actually walked me through the order while we were still on the phone to make sure everything could get processed in time. They told me they could have it done by the end of the day, which already felt like a miracle. I showed up a little close to closing to pick up the prints and realized the final product wasn't exactly to the specifications the bride had asked for. Honestly, I take responsibility for that because I probably didn't communicate everything clearly while I was in full stress mode. Here's where they truly went above and beyond. Instead of turning me away or telling me it was too late, they immediately offered to reprint everything on the spot and make sure it was done correctly. No hesitation. Just kindness and problem solving. In a moment where I was completely stressed trying to help make someone's wedding day perfect, their help genuinely restored my faith in humanity.
