All employees at almost every store are glued to their phone and not present at all to customers. You don't make money that way. Even the joke of security guards are glued to their phones outside Gucci. What a joke. In unpredictable and trying times like these, inflation isn't going anywhere and high end stores need to actually try. It was never this catered to the 1%. You could actually go to a restaurant or store and not feel like you've been robbed and facing a debt to pay off for a year. Management can waste their breath saying that Copley was simply updated to keep up with trends. Well, you failed. There's no heart, hardly any selection, all classic architectural which features attracted people from all over the world - destroyed where you do not know where you are. What once was a place of wonderment, excitement and to spark your Christmas Spirit, is now simply a drain of disappointment as you go home with a sigh. The sales associate then told me she had to go help them at the register and needed to find the cases for the glasses too. Another 15 minutes went by. At that point I just left. They're clearly not interested in making a sale. Such a shame because before this lock up situation, I used to buy all my glasses from this location. Looks like I'll need to find another store.

There were, however, at least three instances where venders made very sexist, condescending remarks, such as "you should find a boyfriend who can teach you engineering," or "this isn't the place for a nice girl like you, with all these electronics!" Usually I could forgive this, and in all cases I informed them that I was in fact an engineer despite being a woman (a radical concept, I know), but in all cases, when I asked the prices of different components they gave me ones that were significantly higher than usual. I decided to do an experiment; I had my friend (a guy) go to one of the same venders and ask the price of the same component and the vender's price for him was lower (only by like two dollars, but still).
