They were able to take appointments for quite a way out, as well as booking appointments for soonish; I booked a pedicure with Tim right before my trip abroad, giving myself maximum time to grow out the ingrowns the last place gave me. Big place, with lots of stations and lots of professionals. Clean, light and airy. The massage chair pedicure stations faced a large flatscreen tv showing the Olympic Games. Nice! Tim didn't give me much time to soak, but was very careful not to cut my nails too short, and not to file them too much in the corners. My podiatrist would approve. Didn't take off enough callus on the ends of my pinkie toes, but that's a hard area to reach. Massage of the feet and calves with lotion was relatively brief, but used a nice lotion that didn't reek of artificial scent, like the last place. Did a beautiful job painting my nails. Fast, efficient, professional, and no pain. I was happy. Afterward, relaxed by the good experience, I asked about a manicure, and ended up seeing Tim's colleague Linh, who was awesome. She told me about gel builder, to armor my weak and brittle nails without damaging them, and I signed up. We left my short nails the color the gel builder comes in -- a nice, natural pink. Maybe now I'll actually be able to grow them out past my fingertips, without them snagging and tearing! I love how strong and smooth they are now, which is helpful in making jewelry! I booked a follow up for a month from now. I look forward to trying out more of their services!

We arrived and within ten minutes, my pedicure had started and my daughter was asked to pick out her colors. The pedicure was nice. No bells and whistles but I enjoyed it. My daughter's acrylics were SO WELL DONE. She showed the manicurist a picture of what she wanted and this woman nailed it. We will be back! Thank you for great service!

It was a pink and white flower French tips on my toes. They never did the pink and they didn't know how to do the flower..another employee came and redid them for me and it still wasn't like the picture, but they still look nice. Next, I had my nails done and it was rushed. A few nails are crooked and I mentioned that before acrylic was applied and I was told it would be fixed. I then asked if they could do the design and was told yes but when it came down to my nails I was told no because they didn't have time. There's air bubbles and thick layers of "goop/glue" on my nails so they don't look very clean. If they weren't so in a rush then I don't doubt my nails would look very polished. They're still cute, that's just my only complains. They were very kind and sweet to me but my mother didn't receive the same service. Her nails were also rushed and the lady who did them cut her skin like around her cuticles and under her nails and then the gel nail polish she did was goopy and just put on. Some sides were flatter than others and some nails had see through spots of her real nail bed because the gel wasn't distributed properly. My mother had kindly said something and the lady kept telling her to "wash her hands" and that's what she did. At the end of the service my moms finger was bleeding from being cut and she asked the guy who did my nails If she could have a refund and he told her he'll have to ask the lady who did her nails. He asked the lady and she came up to my mom and started SCREAMING at her for asking for it. She ended up getting her refund but terrible customer service. I also don't know why they take appointments if you're not going to be priority. They would often time stop doing my nails to go help a customer in the MIDDLE of MY appointment that we booked. Would I recommend service? No. While SOME are nice only ONE guy is skilled and that's the one who did my nails.

Ambience was bright fluorescent lighting and a long YouTube video of the same new age-y song played on endless loop, with loud advertisements every few minutes. There was a long row of massage chair/tubs for pedicures which were not being used, but I was parked right next to the single station in use, so the two SE Asian boys doing the pedicures could talk to each other in their native language. It was awkward, and not relaxing. The awkwardness was compounded by the fact that I couldn't undestined a word out of my pedicurist's mouth. We communicated via hand gestures, mostly. It worked fine for the pedicure. Callus removal was via a large cheese grater-looking tool. Didn't perform as well as the razor method used by my regular place. Our game of charades broke down at the manicure. I wanted rounded nails. I got rounded square nails. I kept repeating "round," like a broken record; he'd say something that sounded like "nngyeeh," give my nails a couple of strokes with the file, and look at me hopefully. He was very careful applying the polish, but with no drying time between the four layers, and only 20 minutes drying in a cool nail dryer, it's no wonder the polish sloughed off before I left the parking lot. Sigh. At least now I can file my nails *round.* Prices were very reasonable, with options for many, many add-ons that sequentially bumped the price up into the much-less-reasonable range.

We were able to get in within a minutes after checking in. We didn't wait at all. Check in with your cell phone to collect points towards discounted services on your future visits. The salon was clean and we were able to get in and out within an hour. So that was nice. We were offered a drink, which was nice. We had water and I think I saw a guest get wine. I wouldn't go here for special designs or anything fancy. I asked for a specific kind of French and didn't get it. What I got was very basic. But it was time with hubby, so I didn't make a fuss. If it was for an event or something special, I might go to my usual spot on the Eastside. The prices were ok. The basic pedicure is $35 with the most 'premium' option $68. I asked for the one up from basic. The young man did a good job. I did have an issue of being charged for gel polish, without being told there was a charge. I didn't ask for gel-I thought it was included. I've noticed more and more nail salons just doing gel because it doesn't get messed up when you put your shoes on. But I wished they let me know beforehand. I'd go back in a pinch but would be sure to ask about the gel polish thing.

It took close to an hour and 45mins for a service that usually takes 45-50mins max. The person servicing my mom was extremely slow to do her nails because she didn't know what she was doing and this was even confirmed by the owner. Because it took so long, no massage or lotion was included like other customers. The owner and another staff member coming to work in pajamas with extra long acrylic eagle talons for nails was definitely a red flag & I should of seen this coming. The owner was forcing my mom to basically pay $100 for a very sloppy, lumpy & time-consuming manicure. After some time of arguing, she decided to lower it to $75 (still an overcharge) because of miscommunication, and didn't even apologize. The owner was extremely reluctant to see the problem from another person's point of view & stood firm on her pricing with a sense of entitlement. Apparently, she's very proud of the mediocre work that comes out of her shop & demands full payment, even if that means ripping off customers. And never once were we expecting a free or discounted service. We just wanted to pay what was fair for the low-quality that was given. I found them to be very unprofessional, unreasonable, hostile and overall a huge lack of customer service skills. Continuously talking over people in a louder voice doesn't make your claim any stronger or correct. Instead of turning a negative to positive experience to create a repeat customer, the owner opted to give major attitude to a senior customer with broken English, knowing there was a lack of communication on your businesses behalf and that was disappointing. Very ghetto, to say the least. If you're going to charge premium pricing, a premium service needs to follow. No one in their right mind can look at these sad nails & genuinely feel they got their money's worth.

However, price-wise is what will stop me from returning. I do a basic dip manicure (with soak off) every 4-ish weeks. I wasn't going to have time to get to my salon so I stopped in here. (Again, they did a great job so I'm glad I did!) The board said $55, I typically pay $50, no big deal. However, they charged $15 for the soak off, $12 to choose nail polish color (it was $8 for no color) and $10 to shape the nails (just filing them down because they'd grown so long). So $92 before tip. For exactly what every other salon provides in the manicure price. I was just wondering what the $55 covered if not filing and painting the nails? (Cutting the cuticles and adding oil? lol) Again, excellent service but nearly double what I've paid at all other salons. Just check the "add on" prices before you commit to a service.

However, this time, the lady nicked both of my heels while providing a pedicure. It stung but didn't bleed. She applied something from a nail polish bottle. It's clear but I have no idea what it was. This year, the cash price is unchanged but there's a 2.5% upcharge for paying with credit. They're a small business so they do have to pay for credit card usage.
