We became acquainted with Dion's in Albuquerque, while living there. It became our favorite, because of the quality and many locations. We now live in Nebraska and , as yet, Dion's hasn't located this far north. However, we did locate a store in Aurora, Colorado on a trip there recently. Needless to say, it was automatic where we were having dinner. Everything was the same as we remembered. We ate one that night and brought 2 home to freeze and enjoy later. We have enjoyed both of them and are ready to return to Aurora for another round of Dion's. We always order a,Gameday which is pepperoni, Italian sausage, and green chili. Give it a try. Im very glad we decided to give this place another shot. This experience was a lot better and now I do believe our friends were right saying our last experience was a weird fluke there. The cheese bread is probably now our favorite in Colorado and we really enjoyed our pizza. Everything was cooked to perfection and made everyone happy. Regular spot for us. Pizza and salads are good. The meatball sub is one of our favorites. Staff is responsive.

I can't quite put my finger on it but there's something about this place that could just be better. Maybe it's Location, how bland it is inside but I just can't put my finger on it. Overall the food is good and the service is as well. I've noticed that most of the staff are young . It's nice to see the owners allowing young community members to get some customer service experience. This is one reason that I continue to go back. I actually found that they sell a large pizza crust kit with all the fixings and even one topping for only $15.99. So that's a good option if you have a bunch of veggies at home and just don't know what to do for dinner. It cooks up great in your oven. Not quite like as if you were in the restaurant but pretty darn close. The one other plus is a drive-through. So I just call it in, and go pick it up. read more

All the pizza here is priced decently and they also have amazing subs. -Service- The service here at Dions sometimes is bad and sometimes is a amazing. Normally they get your served very fast and you do not need to wait awhile. -Food- All the food here at Dions is actually really good. All there pizza do not have to much sauce for my taste. The subs I have never personally tried but I've heard that they are really good. There cookies are also pretty good depending on the day. -Ordering Online- Dions does not deliver, but you can order ahead so that you can go run in and get it. When the store first opened up, they had the best pizza in the Denver metro area. They have gradually gone downhill. They will not get your pizza right. They have no clue what extra sauce means. As a matter fact I've gotten pizzas from them that have had no sauce on them. Tonight I decided to give them one last chance to do it right. I got home with my pizza and the crust was so full of water, that there was literally a puddle of water on my plate! The pizza was enough to gag a maggot! If I could give them less than one star I would. I won't be coming back. They are now Denver's worst pizza! read more

First time we got pizza there it was pretty good. The second time we put in a large order for my daughters birthday and it was borderline inedible. Barely any toppings, burnt crust, just gross. (Do want to say this was almost a year ago, so things could have changed). So was an hour after when they said it would be done. So I had to wait in the parking lot forever. Pizza = 5 Salad = 4 Ranch Dressing = 5 Service = 3 We ordered pizza online for a quick dinner pick up. We drove through a few minutes before our order should have been ready and were told by the window attendant that we were too early and to pull around and park then they would bring our food out to us. We did and we waited 5-10 minutes before our food was delivered. I asked if ranch dressing was inside the boxes and he said no and went back inside to get the ranch we had purchased. The food is great, but my suggestion is to arrive 5-10 minutes late to pick up your order and it should be ready. read more

This is a really good pizza place. They have in house dressing with no Preservatives. I love the Ranch and Caesar dressing. They do sell bottles if their dressing.. the pizza crust is soft and chewy and a tad bit crunchy! They also have subs and salads and cookies!!!! read more

We ordered pizza to have delivered at 4pm. We paid delivery fee plus tip. 4 comes and goes. We had to call. Apparently they didn't have any drivers? So why didn't they call to let us know. We had to go pick up the pizza ourselves and then fight for the delivery fee and tip to be refunded. This is not rocket science. If you don't have drivers don't do delivery. Call the customer to let them know! And refund ALL the extra charges for delivery. Don't made it a headache for the customer. read more

The taste is a step up from other chains like Coloradough, but even so, $25 seems a bit steep for a chain pizza.

I loved Dions! Took my kiddo here for a yelp event not too long ago. They did a great tour for the kids and we got to try all their delicious food. The pizza is very good, and their cheesy bread was so yummy. I also had some of their salad and that was great as well. When I went to pick them up the restaurant was empty but I was ignored by multiple staff for 3-4 min up at the counter until someone waved at me and said "someone will help you soon". Me and my friend got food poisoned in this place on Wednesday. We ordered two separate pizzas for lunch, one of them was okay, but other one (Neapolitano) caused problems for us. Me and my friend were supposed to request a sick day, we've had a fever, and other things that comes with food poisoning that I don't want to describe here. My body was in pain the whole day. I'm glad we survived, but we lost money because of missed day at work and had a pretty bad experience. I'm a 505 transplant, born and raised on Dion's. Have always been addicted. A hot slice of the 505 (with ranch for dipping) and a half salad is perfect. The sandwiches are awesome too. Try EVERYTHING. I'm reading poor reviews regarding the obvious lack of beer here. I get it, I love beer with my pizza too. But Dion's recipe for success these last 40-something years doesn't include beer. And even though I now consider myself a Coloradan - a beer lovin' Coloradan at that - I can handle a meal without it. We ordered the 10" Duke and the 14" 505 on a gourmet crust. This was our first time ordering Dion's and now I'm disappointed in myself for always ordering from other places. We usually make a MOD run once a week and Pizza Hut or Hungry Howie's Bi-Weekly. Not anymore. Dion's will be the ONLY place we go. Cheese is just right, top crust is thin and crunchy but also soft. Just amazing pizza. Lastly we bought a bottle of green Chile ranch and now I'm debating whether I continue making my own homemade ranch or not. This pizza is a total win for me. I usually get anxious to consume a slice of pizza, simply because I feel bloated afterwards. However, this pizza is incredibly made and their all new green chili ranch is off the hook. Stefan, the general manager was very sweet and all his team. I love the vegetarian pizza and the salads, as well as the flat bread. I do recommend eating the flat bread with cheese while it's hot, hot, hot! The seating area is not a fast food pick up place kind of environment. It's like going to any other restaurant and it's very spacious and very affordable. I can see myself bringing my family and friends here. It's not loud like a Pizza Hut and very small. I love how expanded it is and lots of room to sit and enjoy a slice of dough. The parking is massive and very roomy. I do enjoy the pepperoni pizza. I'm impressed because it's hard to get me to enjoy pepperoni pizza. But I managed to enjoy it only at Dion's! I was only at Dion's once, and that was with a free pizza coupon I got in the mail. I haven't had time to go back there again, but I DEFINITELY need to. The pizza took a long time to make, I waited around there for about half an hour. But, when I actually took a bite out of the first, cheesy slice, it all made sense to me why it took that long. The dough was fresh, chewy, and fluffy, the cheese was stringy and delicious, and the ingredients were top-notch quality and just on point.
