The gentleman looked like he was running everything himself and he did a great job. Ordered take out. First time trying this place. Very delicious and not greasy. Also like the crust wasn't as thick. I like they give back to their customers if you're a dedicated customer for pizza. The service was fantastic. I would recommend. read more

Pizza 72 - Large Pizza 72 Special Pizza (14") - Chicken Wings Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

We stopped going here. They definitely changed owners and the last two times we all got sick after eating there. The first time we were hoping it was something else but the second time confirmed it. read more

Best pizza in Aurora. Friendly customer service. This is my go to pizza place. Been coming here for years.

Really good overall. The sauce is a little sweet for my preference but better than most pizza I've had in the area.

A small little shop that's perfect for slices! Sauce was flavorful and the pepperoni was really good! Nice young man working the place and they have Coke products! Yumm read more

Excellent pizza. It's light and fluffy, crispy and thin on the bottom. Sauce is excellent, and the ratio of ingredients reminds me of a nice east coast pie. I was honestly surprised how great this pizza was, and I was trying it after it sat in the box for 15 minutes during my drive home. Very reasonable price for such a quality pie. read more

Yesterday, we wanted some pizza and wanted to try someplace new. Saw Pizza 72, so I thought we would try it since it's in the neighborhood. It's a nice clean shop, limited seating for eat-in, but comfortable. I ordered the XL pepperoni and sausage, extra parm cheese. 18" THIN CRUST $30.00. 30 minutes later , we had the pizza. Quick and easy. Crust has a good flavor, thin but not crispy. Folds up just right . For my personal taste, the sauce is a little blan. I'd like the sauce to be a little more tangy and spicy so you can taste it on your tongue when you take a bite. I'm going to try the Sicilian style next time. And make a final decision. read more

Pizza 72 - XL Pepperoni and sausage pizza - Chicken Wings Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

Solid pizza, good crust. Wouldn't mind just a little more cheese and sauce as a couple times I've ordered it seemed to be just a hair on the dry side. Would recommend though if you're local and not wanting to travel to Denver read more

First off, I will say that I am not a pizza person. More often than not if someone suggests a pizza place I will turn my nose up. The word that comes to mind when I think of pizza is grease, grease grease. I do not like greasy food. The great thing about Pizza 72 is there pizza is not overly greasy or not really greasy at all! I love it! It was perfectly cooked. Not too charred and not too undercooked. Also, they put the perfect amount of toppings on unlike other pizza places that jip ya. The prices are a bit more expensive than a pizza chain, but I think it's worth it. The quality and taste is top notch and they have some pretty good deals. My sister and I got the 2 large, 2 topping pizza deal for $25, not knowing how big they would actually be. Needless to say, we have a lot of leftovers. The only reason I took off a star is because they seemed a little unorganized. They had lots of orders and I think their tickets were getting mixed up. I had a pickup order at a certain time and had to wait a bit longer, but overall not too big of a deal considering they are a newer business. And the lady working the front was very nice! Check this place out if you're around! And if you don't want a full pizza, you can order a 20" slice! read more

The pizza is so tasty. Fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. I adore Pizza 72! They even have gluten free crust that my celiac family members love so no one is left out of pizza night. read more

Pizza was amazing but this nonsense inflation fee of 3% ? Yeah last time I get something from here unfortunately.

Damn!! Tried this place out with my friend for the first time because it was close to her house and THANK GOD we did. We ordered a plane cheese pizza (my friend doesn't do meat) lol so I was expecting a mediocre pizza. BOY WAS I WRONG! The pizza was incredible! Freshly made, cheese everywhere, the dough was soooo good (and I don't even eat the bread) lol. The crust was thin but not crispy, it was total NY style with flavors bursting from everywhere! I will absolutely come back here but this time I'll get meat, I can't even imagine it not being as amazing. Great job guys! Sorry no pic.... It was gone before I remembered ‍ read more

We were really excited to try this place per the reviews, pics, and so forth. However not sure if we caught them on an off day but both pizzas were over done to the point the crust dark brown almost burnt. We ordered one NY style that was suppose to have veggies but rather then tomatoes they put on pepperonis. Leave it said we were rather disappointed especially with what we paid. read more

Pizza is always delicious & can't get enough of the Sicilian pizza. Well cooked, never half done.

The worst pizza I'm in the food business and cheese is my specialty this was the worst I've ever had the salad was good they need to ask their supplier for a better mozzarella read more

From the east coast and been trying to find some good pizza out here since I moved. This is the best I found so far. The sauce is great and it's thin and crispy. Knots could be more buttery but overall good. read more

Pizza 72 - Garlic knots yummmm - Chicken Wings Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

I was excited to try this place after seeing the good reviews, couldn't make it past the online ordering. I was greeted with a suggested tip of $9 "Support our Team" for a $47 order, plus $6.34 for "Taxes & Fees". I had to go out of my way to change the tip and couldn't see what "fees" I was being charged for. So sick of places guilting the customer into tipping instead of just paying their employees well, and also charging a fee for the privilege of ordering from them. The large combo pizza is already much pricier than other places I've tried and they don't put peppers or olives on it... read more

I got the NY cheese pizza. No. Not even close. It's thick. The sauce is super sweet. I also requested crispy wings and these fall apart like they were in a crock pot read more

3.5 is probably a more accurate rating here. Ordered the pizza. Arrived cold, but that could've been on the Uber driver. Crust a little thicker than what I would like, but not too bad for New York style. It was a little bit undercooked. Not bad. But would try an alternative if it was available read more

Please can order because the reviews online were very good - 4.6 Stars to be exact. Ordered a New York style pizza and a Sicilian pizza with meatballs. The New York came and it was okay. The pizza crust did not have a lot of flavor. The Sicilian was burnt beyond belief and we had to pick at it just to eat some of it. There were no meatballs added it was just the oil and herbs and I think there was some cheese, but again it was spurt beyond belief. Tried to call the place to let them know and they have a machine that answers the phone for the orders. Unable to complain to anybody. Worst pizza ever. read more

Wow!! Amazing pizza!! I'm a foodie and read reviews of other yelpers about pizza 72 and thank you all because it truly is the best NY style pizza in the metro area!! And customer service was right on!! My new #1 read more

Grub Hub did me wrong. Pizza 72 did the right thing. We found Pizza 72 a few months ago and really love their pizza. Their garlic knots are ridiculous! We placed an order that was messed up on the GH end and Pizza 72 made sure our pizza stayed hot while we worked it out and finally came to get it. I'm pretty sure they stayed open till we got our food. They are our pizza go to now. Skip GH and give them all your money directly! read more

The pizza was a deep dish. Just what we had a hanker for. I would like to try there regular or thin pizza, probably more of our taste. It was after 8:30 and hard to fine a place open after and if you want something cooked, 8:00 is most places cut off time. This place was willing and open and that we appreciated. Too me every pizza taste a little different so did 't expect more. I liked it better for dinner than I did breakfast. They use Grub Hub for delivery and the service and Grub Hub employee was bad. We live in a six floor high rise and we asked them specifically to deliver to our apartment door. In directions,I took it a step farther and told them to dial our number if they had any problems coming in. When wonder where our order was we found a note in our order from Grub Hub saying the pizza was delivered but it was no where to be found. Finally we went looking for it and sure enough it was in front of the entry door in the 1st floor. We have very little experience with these delivery places but have been forced to start using them for mobility issues. I guess we need to find out if we have to use whoever the vendor wants us to. One thing I have learned, is never add the tip on the bill before you receive the product! read more

Tasty neighborhood spot! We kept things simple with pepperoni and sausage and the whole crew enjoyed the pizza. We also got an order of garlic knots and they were tasty too! We always go simple on our first order from a new place and we were not disappointed. We will be coming back to try some of their specialty pizzas! Thanks, Pizza 72! read more

I'm sorry to see the negative reviews when it comes to the pizza crust and it's flavor....I for one do NOT agree. Every Tuesday our family gets together for our "pizza night". We have tried no less than 15 pizza restaurants until we found Pizza 72 and we haven't gone anywhere else since!! Here's my only issue. I am retired from the Food and Beverage industry and one thing I used to tell my employees, that if they received a tip above and beyond the normal 15-20 percent they should make a concerted effort to thank the guest for being so generous and how much it is appreciated! Doing this accomplishes two major plusses, one for yourself in possibly acquiring a new customer and a great tipper at that!!! The other for the business with having a satisfied customer who will possibly become a regular, not to mention all of the free advertising when this "new regular" hopefully begins telling friends and associates! Myself and my other family members all leave a tip, but never have I ever heard a word of appreciation from anyone on your staff when picking up our order. Sadly, to me that means the tip was expected....for Take Out no less!!! Being an ex hospitality professional with all of my experience being in restaurant management except after retirement, I then bartended for 6 years before finally giving it up and opting for being fully retired! Once again the pizza is always 5-stars all the way!!!! As far as tipping on takeout.....that may be coming to an end. read more

I made an order online and had to call in to ensure that my order had gone through. After I called to verify I asked what time my pizza would be done. They told me an hour because they're behind. I got there after 50 min and my food was ready and after checking my food, it was cold. How could my pizza be cold when I was told an hour? If it was ready a lot earlier than they should've called... not happy. read more

I ordered online, they use DoorDash for delivery and they confirmed my order was delivered and the order was not delivered so I called the dasher and they blocked my number. Called the restaurant and they won't take responsibility because they use a third party delivery even though it's through their site. they said they'd resend the order and never did. #pizzascam read more

Took my money but didn't fill the order. I ordered online through Pizza72.com. Paid for the order. Saw it pending in my bank account. Drove to pickup my pizza. They stated they did not receive the order online. They knew I paid as I could show the payment to Pizza 72. They told me they could not fill my order though I paid because they were not showing the actual order. I could reorder and repay and wait. They told me to dispute the charge with my bank. I called my bank, disputed the charge and left without my order. Horrible business model. No customer service from their phone message, online ordering and service. read more
