We ordered the thin crust pizza and were definitely disappointed. The crust wasn't crispy, and the toppings we ordered were sparse. The sauce was fine but nothing did idk and didn't make up for the other parts that were lacking. We went on Saturday at 2:00 pm The menu advertised pizza by the slice with a beverage. When i inquired about ordering a slice the server said with an attitude,"we don't have any slices, we ran out, first come first serve" why would you list it on the menu if it's not available??? Not sure if he was the cook too and just lazy?? I ordered a 6" meatball sub, with cheddar cheese and with the upgrade tater tots for an additional $1.59 per the menu. When I got my bill I observed I was charged $6.29 for the tater tots!!! I inquired with the server about the charge and he sarcastically said I had to order a beverage in order to get the tots for the upgrade price. NO WHERE on the menu does it state that. I have to comment that the server is the face of the restaurant and his attitude reflects that the business really doesn't care about providing good service, honoring the menu price or customer retention. When they can't use their own delivery drivers they use the third party apps. That means my pizza arrived cold and no way to get it heated without ruining the taste. If warmed in the oven in the box it's taste like a cardboard box! Third party drivers also have no way of keeping it warm without the heated bags most pizza delivery offers. I love this place. Drive down from the mountains every few Mondays to grab the special -- 16" thin with up to 3 toppings for $21.95. That's usually sausage, fresh garlic, and mushroom for me. Finally decided to give this place another go since it's so close, better than the first time, but still not a home run. We ordered a 14in thin crust with pepperoni on the whole thing, mushrooms on half, and jalapeños on half. We ordered on a Saturday around 6:40pm and they told us 40 minutes. Based on our last takeout experience being cold, we showed up closer to 30 minutes and it was ready at the 35 mark. It definitely tasted better than the first time we went here but my biggest complaint was when we called in, we specifically asked if the jalapeños were fresh or pickled, we're told they were fresh, and when we got the pizza they were 100% pickled jalapeños. I really dislike pickled jalapeños but love fresh ones...hence why I always ask, as if I'd known they were pickled, I would have ordered a different topping. In comparison to most pickled jalapeños, these were better and less vinegar-y. My second complaint is the price, $23 for a 14in 2 topping thin crust pizza is a bit steep in my opinion, especially knowing we can get the same thing for cheaper right down the street at a different pizza place. read more

What a pizza high I have! I've been to this restaurant once before when I was seeking out a great Chicago beef sandwich. Dining-in was prohibited so I enjoyed that beef in the car. The owner's wife came out to see if I liked it and mentioned her husband was from Chicago. She said they also have pizza in the Chicago tradition. I put it on my mental wishlist to return. Today seemed like a great day for a pizza. Who am I kidding..? ANY DAY is a great day for pizza! We went to Jimano's for a late lunch. I couldn't decide if I wanted to try their deep-dish or their stuffed pizza. From the Yelp pictures, both looked great. My wife said, "Why don't you order one of each?" Gawd I love that woman! So we ordered a 10" deep dish and a 10" stuffed. I'm not a thin crust kind of pizza lover, but I won't pass up any pizzas if they're offered. When I have my way, though, I want a pizza with lots of stuff and I prefer a sufficient amount of breadiness to it. I also like a sausage that chews like pieces of meat versus the ground sausage I found on Oregano's pizza. When Paul, our friendly and very attentive server brought the pizzas to our table I started with the stuffed one. The crust was nice and bready and well worth eating once I finished the rest of the slice. There was plenty of flavorful sauce. The meat chewed like real sausage and the green peppers and black olives were a perfect accent to all the cheese. The deep-dish pizza had a different flavor but was delicious all the same. It had much less sauce than the stuffed. The cheese, sausage, green peppers, and black olives were perfectly proportioned so each bite gave me plenty of goodness. The crust was less bready but still worth eating. I'm still torn as to which one I like better. I'd probably order the stuffed again because of the abundance of sauce and more bready crust, but I also enjoyed every bite of that deep dish. Decisions... decisions... The owner was extremely rude and yelling at me for trying to pick my scheduled order up on time and not waiting 15 more minutes because they forgot to make it. I wanted to recommend Jimano's Pizza today anyone who loves Chicago Style Pizza. They have a great selection of Crusts and Toppings to choose between. I also recommend their Subs and Wraps, every one I've had was excellent. I would put their Chicken Tenders on my Yes list also. But my favorite of all is their Breadsticks, they are absolutely delicious. They are covered butter and seasoning. The Lunch slice Special is a great way to test out their Pizza.
