I will try to be objective. IMHO, it is expensive... especially the desserts and slices. With the higher prices, you naturally expect the food to really impress you. I ordered the BBQ pizza. Papa John's BBQ pizza is sooo much better tasting. Of course, my taste buds are different than yours. My daughter liked Domino's better than Pizza 72. I imagine that there are many consumers who enjoy the char on a pizza. I am not one of them. I can't eat the char, and my pizza had a lot of char. The bottom line is that our family will not be ordering from this establishment. I am not saying that it is a bad restaurant, it just isn't what I am looking for. And since it is incompatible with my tastes, I am unable to judge the quality of their food. read more

For delivery only: we got 3 pizzas--plain cheese, BBQ chicken, and 3-topping, plus wings and desserts. The pizzas all got rave reviews--perfectly cooked, nice dough, good sauce/cheese/toppings! Wings also went over very well. Less impressed with the desserts--tiramisu, limoncello pudding/cake thing, and cheesecake brownie. Limoncello didn't have a ton of flavor and texture was meh. Cheesecake brownie was store bought in a plastic wrapper. Tiramisu was the best of the three but still meh. My recommendation is get the pizza and the wings, skip the dessert! read more

Was looking for a place that we can do takeout for dinner on our way to Trivia and I am so glad that we found Pizza 72! The process for online ordering was very simple and the menu choices are excellent, a very good variety of items. We ordered a large pizza and the garlic knots for our dinner and it was way under our usual budget, Love that even more. The pizza was perfectly baked, just the right amount of toppings and there were not even any leftovers, we both devoured it. and you have to have the garlic knots, oh my goodness, light and drenched in buttery, garlicky goodness. This is great pizza. Any bad reviews you read about Pizza72 are written by people who fail to appreciate the good things in life. The crust is excellent, the sauce fresh and flavorful without being sweet plus the perfect amount of cheese with quality toppings cooked to the correct amount of doneness. Highly recommend. The owner of the Chambers and Iliff location is also a friendly and talkative shop-keeper who obviously cares about his customers. I am looking forward to ordering again soon. read more

This was the best pizza I've had compared to pizza hut, domino's, black jack little and papa johns. Its a solid pizza its cheesy and the crust has a great flavor. It's a bit greasy but it doesn't get all over the place. I barely used the napkins I probably used two and it was a huge slice. For 3.65 +tax its totally worth it. read more

ordered pizza and wings.... big mistake. The pizza was super cheesy, but cold and soggy. Ordered HOT wings, with HOT sauce, received COLD wings with ZERO sauce, and ranch instead of blue cheese. I called the store, got eternal hold the first time, no answer the second. For goodness sakes , don't put the new guy on to gos! it's all good, I'll chalk it up as a loss. This is our go to. Good Pizza and friendly people, they have always been on time for our orders.

We were very excited to try this pizza as we order for our office every Tuesday and our office just moved next to this restaurant. We were very disappointed in our experience. We had a delivery order for 6 pizzas. The pizza was over an hour late at that point we decided to pick it up. When we called the delivery service they contract with, Chow Now, they had pushed our delivery time back an hour and still had not sent a rep to pick it up. When we sent someone to pick it up for our office of course the pizza was cold and we paid full delivery price with no apology from the Pizza 72. They took the easy way out by blaming the delivery service instead of trying to make it right with the customer. We would love to support smaller businesses rather than chains but the customer service needs some work to earn business. read more

Relatively new in Aurora, this place produces the best and most competent pies of the "pizzeria" style pizzas. Fresh and delicious it's my go to for that New York style. But I just discovered their Sicilian pizza today and OMG it's their true gem. It was a thing of beauty, big, rectangular crispy crust, bubbly cheese and savory sauce. It took me back to the godfather/big foot style pizzas of my youth. This is now my go to za, moving forward. No question! I don't think I'll have to weigh the options of the 'big 3' ever again. read more

I usually get the same kind of pizza I wanna kiss the person that made my pizza, can't remember who they were but I love you. They also have a deep dish pizza and as a detroit native I had to try it, it was great but it wasn't authentic, then again we are in Colorado so I can't complain. Pizza 72 is a relatively new hole in the wall pizza joint on iliff and chambers. I ABSOLUTELY love their pizza and garlic knots. You can get pizza by the slice or a whole pie. Both are great options. I haven't had anything from here I didn't enjoy. The owner and his daughter are so wonderful! This is my go to pizza place now and I will continue to bother this wonderful place with my business every single chance I get! Absolutely love these people! read more
