I had been before and ran into some people serving at the bar or on the floor that were mediocre or not great.Today I came in for their steak special. Lindsey served me on the floor. She had an excellent positive attitude the whole time with me along with me and a large table of customers. Other positive was the short Hispanic man. I did not get his name but I think he was the cook. He would cook and serve to help the wait staff. Both of them were positive and brought what you asked for with a positive friendly attitude. Good messy burgers. A quiet place to sit in Air Conditioning on a hot Sunday afternoon. Our server was very friendly and pretty much left us alone. The place was fairly empty but there was a good sized group of people talking quietly around the bar and watching the game. read more

I came here on a Friday night and it didn't seem to be as busy at first. When it was time to close out my tab, there were a few more people, but not a crazy amount or anything. I hadn't tried any of the food besides fries, which I thought were decent. I thought the drinks were alright, but I normally just order the same thing everywhere I go, haha. I think this place is fine to kill time and hang out, and it's in a relatively convenient location; just right off the freeway. The waitress I had was fine; I didn't really have any complaints. There are a lot of TVs in there, so I guess I had options of things to watch, but it seemed like a little much. read more

This place was great the first time or two we came, but since then we've learned that the only good thing on the menu is the steak bites, the service varies between great and awful, depending on the day, and the drinks don't always come the way you order. It's one of the better pubs in Renton, but we miss Bellevue. read more

Four stars for Dino's burgers alone! I had their mushroom burger and hubby had chicken teriyaki--both we're absolutely delicious. The mushrooms were perfectly grilled, beef juicy, and cheese melted just right. The chicken teriyaki looked so good a lady from another table asked my hubby what it was. We also had nachos as appetizers and those were good too--there was melted cheese, chicken, and all the fixings even below the top layer of toppings (some places just layer the top so one is stuck with nothing but chips afterwards). As for service, our server was great. She checked on us regularly and brought us anything we needed. Considering it was a Friday evening, it wasn't too crowded or too noisy. Dino's is a cozy neighborhood pub. Nothing fancy or trendy about the place, just a good place to grab a great burger while watching a sporting event. Btw, they have very small TV's for a sports bar/grill so I docked them a star. read more

if you're tired of hole in the wall grungy places... come on over the the (south)East side! located right off exit 7 on 405 - good size bar with plenty of tvs, 4 coin-op pool tables, a juke box, darts and plenty of pull tabs and alcohol. this place is my new home away from home when i don't want to deal with downtown bananzas. $10 pitchers of draft beer and $6 shots of crown is a good deal to me! Suzie is an awesome bartender and Ju is an awesome server! if you're a BBQ fan - you must get the 2 lbs of beef ribs for $13.99!!! comes with fries and beans and toast. and its delicious! i've gone there 3 days in a row cuz that stuff is like crack! you just can't get enough! and tho i've only had the pizza once... its gynormous and great. food is served til about 11pm and only fried foods are available there after. will be back again always :) oh yea - and this is a bar. keep the orders simple. beer, shots, add coke/tonic/soda... the blender is always broken and don't go to a bar and order a cosmo this place is for drinkers!!! haha. read more

Food is mediocre and the servers, for the most part are not exactly pleasant or are just not attentive. I live about a block away and go here for UFC fights and thats about it. Having to flag your server or bartender down anytime you need something gets a little tiresome, and usually isn't deserving of a decent tip. I understand that they are busy but that comes with any role in the food service industry. Charlie is a really nice guy, he did a great job of cleaning the place up but I think he needs to have a come to Jesus meeting with his staff. I have had only one server there that I felt deserved a tip of more than 15%. I'll continue to be a patron, but only for the fights. I'll deal with poor service once a month. Outside of the fights, there are plenty of other options not too far from here. read more

Worst pub ever! Never going back or recommending anyone to go to there. Someone claiming to the owner came around at 1:45am telling everyone to get the f**k out. There were 3 different groups finishing their game of pool and the lady (owner) came knocking all of the balls of the table still yelling get the "f**k out, I'm the owner." The bartenders were laughing as this happened. Everyone told her this was horrible customer service and she processed to tell everyone "I don't care about your business so get the f**k out." Even before that, the bartenders were not attentive. I tried to order a drink and she sat talking to her friends while we wanted to order at the bar. Few mins later, she came by and says I'll get to you in a sec. Then proceeds to go back to talking to her friends. Waited 5 min before she came back to us. Apparently Dino's doesn't care about your business per the owner and bartenders. read more

Dino's Food is actually pretty damn good. The Burgers are huge, and have awesome flavor. They have pizza as well, have not tried it yet but will at some point. They have a sign that they post the nightly feature food on. The steaks are very decent as well. My wife enjoys the sweet Potato frys. I'm not a sweet potato person myself but tried a couple. So for Pub food this place has really got a good thing going! Good drinks too. They have a ton of HD Flatsceens playing all kinds of sports. Pool tables, and a very good digital type juke-box.. I actually want to write a bad review so the place doesn't get too crowded. It is not only a great friendly neighborhood bar, but the food is some of the best on the eastside. Yes, bar food! Alex, the head chef is a genious and will make you happy. If I owened a restaurant, I would steal Alex in a heartbeat! The waitstaff is actually fun and different depending on the server you get. Some are a little gruff, some funny, some focused, but all are happy to serve. The place was recently renovated and while no minors are allowed, it is a great place to hang out and unwind. AND if you have a party you wish to have catered, Dinos is perfect! I have seen many birthday and office parties in their large seating area. Only one drawback... The owner is a Husky fan. If you are a Husky, you are in good shape. If you are a Coug fan, like me, come in and always throw a Husky joke to the owner. read more

Why do I keep going back to this place. The answer is I live next door. I love the idea of a neighborhood bar where everyone knows your name. Well the vindictive women behind the bar are horrible people who just want to make themselves special by not giving you service and giving you attitude when you ask for a drink for the second time. My mom raised me better to not call these women names but I think you know what I would call them. 2nd trip, 2nd bad experience and I am only ordering beer no food. read more

The steaks are good and I like the potato and the side salad that comes with it too. The broasted (deep-fried) chicken I had recently was disgusting. They use pre-fab chicken (not a slice/piece of a real chicken) in their parmesan dish, which totally ruins it. read more

The waiter / server was totally out of line. She treated myself and my family like she did not care. She needs to get a job somewhere else. She hates her job and the people she works with. Dino's is a fun local bar. Several pool tables, nice enough staff and a big back patio for nice nights. What I like most besides, the cheap drinks and good juke box, is that it's actually a ton bigger inside then it looks like from the outside. This was one of the first spots I went to when I moved to Washington from Ohio earlier this year, so I really want to like it. Unfortunately, more often than not, my friends and I just have the WORST time there. There is one bartender in particular that is completely unpleasant to even be around. She doesn't smile, she isn't friendly, and doesn't make even sub par drinks. I don't know if it's a Washington thing, but in Ohio, when you order a flavored vodka shot, it always comes chilled, or they at least ask you if you'd like it that way. I'm not a big fan of drinking a warm, viscous, grape flavored drink because it's too much like cough medicine. Stop being lazy, get out your tins, and chill your shots.... it literally takes about 15 seconds. read more

I'll say this.. I'm staying in Renton with a friend... he's working during the day at his office.. I'm working from his home. He goes to bed around 10:00pm or 10:30pm and I have no such constraints. So after 3 nights of being at home, I popped onto Yelp to see what was going on. It's a neat place, 4 pool tables, a dart board, juke box and a few video games, and plenty of table seating and a sizable bar. It is/was a Tuesday night at around 11:30pm, so I can't be too critical... but the bartender(ress) was a bit pre-occupied with her side work and the regulars to pay too much attention. I tried to engage her.. to no avail. Don't get this wrong. I am a gay man, so I was not looking for any action from her, just some conversation. There my have been 10 people in the bar at the peak when I was there.. so it could easily have been a typical slow night for her, which is completely understandable.. you go into the shift knowing it's not going to be busy so you tend to pay that much less attention. By the time I left, she seemed a bit more friendly, whether that was because her side work was done or I had attempted to talk enough I don't know. If you're in the area I'd give it a shot... if you've got means to go downtown (Seattle), I'd do that. A bit of a disappointment, but it was better than sitting in a portable chair in my friends living room awaiting the movers with is furniture. read more

Have been going to Dino's 3-4 a month for a long time. Very disappointed in Saturday afternoon. Arrived early for a 5 o'clock kickoff along with a number of others rooting for WSU Cougs. Spent money on food and beverages and then at 745, all the TV's except 3 were tuned into the WA Huskies game. No regard for the paying patrons that had been there in the afternoon we the place was virtually empty. Very rude bartender informed the Coug fans that this is a 'Husky bar'. Well, she showed exactly the same classlessness as the Husky fans in our area. Apparently it's ok to treat the 'Husky bar' fans that poorly, but this Coug won't be back. Other places that treat everyone with respect and dignity. Too bad, Dino's used to be a high on list. I won't be back. read more

I am pretty new to the Renton kennydale area. I looked on yelp for local places. I read the reviews for Dinos, I have to say some of them just did not do this place justice. For the first time my husband and I came in here we loved it! The staff have always been friendly and fun. I have brought some of my new friends here for a girls night and they loved it. Great food and good drinks. Also a great outside area. I will make this my bar, and also they do parties ....thinking of having my 30 th birthday there. I have even gone into Dinos by myself late at night and the bartender was so nice she talked and joked around. I didn't feel uncomfortable being alone. Highly recommend to anyone. read more
