Taro Milk Tea
Steph H.

STEPH JUDGMENT: A serviceable Ding Tea outpost. Stopped in for quick drink on a weekday midafternoon, was pretty empty. Got a taro milk tea with no add-ons. The drink was good, just what I expected. The atmosphere and service were ok. A solid 3 stars.

I visit this Ding Tea location periodically when I am in the area. It is located in a small strip mall and parking is never a problem, although the parking lot has a bit of a strange configuration. The interior is a bit dated and worn, but the drinks are solid. I always get the kumquat lemon green tea with slight sweetness, slight ice, golden and crystal boba. This drink is always refreshing with a nice tartness and a light sweetness. This location also includes a fresh kumquat in the drink, which gives it an extra layer of flavor and sourness. The staff is friendly, and drinks always come out quickly. They use the Five Stars loyalty program, so be sure to enter your phone number each time to collect points towards discounts. This location is also on DoorDash, as I periodically order drinks for my girlfriend who works in the area. Rating: 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.0.

I've been here twice so far and overall it's a nice spot! First visit I tried the kumquat lemon iced tea (extra ice, level 3 sweet) and it was really good. It was super refreshing and I loved the salted plum in it. Second time I ordered the wintermelon green iced tea (same sweetness/ice). It was okay, a little on the bitter side, but still refreshing. I also tried a few food items: French fries - regular, no seasoning, decent. Popcorn chicken - flavorful but a bit too salty for me. Wings (5 pieces) - these were really good! I'll definitely be back to try more drinks and food from the menu.

Measurements seem off... The menu is the same as all of their other locations, but our drinks didn't have the exact sweetness level that we asked for. Mine was so sweet that I had to water it down in the car and my mom's was so bitter that it felt like they added no sweetness nor flavor at all. * Lychee Green Tea: 8/10 - tasted like 100% sweetness when I asked for 50% * Matcha Milk Tea: 4/10 - super bitter and way too much matcha powder * Passionfruit Green Tea: 9/10 - good level of tartness The workers were nice and weren't upset when we asked them to remake one of the drinks, but there wasn't really a difference in flavor. Therefore, we just assumed that it's this certain location's measurements and just the way they make their drinks. The interior is quite nice and bright which we enjoyed. They have a decent amount of seating and we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks. The shop is located in a small plaza, but it's usually quite empty so you should be able to find a parking spot easily. Despite the disappointment, we'll be back to give them another try in the future.

It's always good getting boba here. It's a small location but very convenient for where my family is. They're quick with serving food and drinks and is rarely crowded. Quality has been good and service straight forward.

This is one of the best, or maybe the only Ding Tea location with the best matcha items on the menu!!! I love their Matcha Eisnpanner and matcha latte. Both comes with matcha foam on top and it is so so good!!!! I usually get mine with oat milk and the way the matcha drinks come out here, it is perfection! The matcha is strong, and with the minimal sugar level, both their matcha and oat milk just blend perfectly! You can really taste the top quality matcha that they use here and I really appreciate that. It is not watered down at all like other places. Service is always fast and awesome and they have lots of promotions. Make sure you sign up for their list and you will get frequent promo on your phone.

1. The drinks tasted as delicious as the ones ordered at other locations! This is the only Ding Tea I visited that sold Cajun fries! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a cool interior! 3. There are a lot of indoor seatings! 4. The staff were friendly and timely with my order! 5. Parking lot is medium-sized but it was not busy on a Sunday Afternoon! Note: Single Customer Restroom was out-of-order during visit! Photo: Grapefruit Yogurt, Aloe Vera Lychee Juice, and Cajun Fries

Second Ding tea I have visited. Too bad they ran out of kumquat. I settled for peach green tea with aloe. Very refreshing. Good fast service. They accidentally made an extra milk tea and ended up giving it to us for free. Everyone else enjoyed their drinks.

I have driven past this spot a million times. Not a big fan of chain-store boba... all boba-lovers have their favorite place. I have gone to Ding tea locations and their teas are good, but not my favorite. BUT, this particular location has nabbed my attention. First, it's cute inside. My toddler insisted on sitting inside because he liked "it nice inside". Second, it seemed like they had more options than their counterparts. Lastly, the people at the counter are helpful and patient- they helped me find the perfect drink. Just come and see for yourself.

I love the drinks and snacks here. This is one of my favorite ding tea locations. It's always consistent and good, never long wait, and always easy to find parking. I really like their popcorn chicken and fried fish balls. For drinks, I like passionfruit green tea, grapefruit green tea, and either black or green milk tea. I order my drinks at 0% sweet and add crystal boba or aloe vera to add some sweetness. They make perfect drink every time.

Happy New Year!

To the owners: Be consistent in your policies... post signs... ==NOT SO FUN SIDE NOTE== Going out to break change sent me on an UNEXPECTED SIDE QUEST with my bank. Because I was withdrawing an amount that falls outside my normal habits, my card was blocked and had to spend another 20 minutes on the phone to troubleshoot and unlock my card. All this in 100 degree weather.... For tea bars, this is one of the few places that offer decent food. Fruit teas are nice. Coffee and matcha are the same as you'd expect anywhere else. But today's experience really encourages me to find for other options. Cafe Quan also has the same bread sticks with a few other options. TLDR version: Good food, okay drinks. Fine if you use plastic, beware for cash users. Avoid on weekends unless you like crowded spaces and long wait times.

Dark, spooky, cozy with the smell of espresso seeping through the walls. If you leave through the back entrance, you're transported back into the dull colorless vibe of the surrounding atrium (no offense to the landlord). Now, for the important part--COFFEE! I ordered the Moon Over Bourbon Street. It tasted slightly artificial but they make most syrups from scratch. I may just have been sensitive to the flavors. But it was really good. Not too sweet. My sister ordered the Dorian Gray latte. Deathly divine. My son had the Palace of Lavinia. He's used to super sweet iced tea so this was extremely mellow, even sweetened. But it was absolutely refreshing. Sadly, we did not try any provisions. Super service. Friendly and helpful. Gave recommendations. Barista had great handwriting. It's all in the death-tails! I saw that they recently switched to a new powder so I wanted to try. They claim to be using Rocky's matcha, but I used Rocky's matcha at home and it tastes nothing like this! My double matcha tasted like pure grass and was very gritty. I'm not even sure what made it a double matcha because there was no matcha cream or anything on top. So I paid $8 for a bland grassy cup of milk. Cuptopia PLEASE go back to your old matcha ***Edit because that response from the owner is wild hahaha I guess the customer service isn't that great. I did not make a single rude comment about your shop or anything even remotely close to ruin anyone's reputation. All I said was that the matcha blend has downgraded because it has. Yelp is here to share honest opinions and that was mine. And obviously I don't know what was said or ordered because I WAS NOT THERE. He just dropped it off and made no mention of matcha cream not being available, either way $8 is way too expensive for a matcha this quality. I never once said I want to do a collab with your shop he was probably just trying to support me and my page because I enjoy making content and run a fun little matcha page. I have actually made a video/post in the past expressing how much I enjoyed your shop and matcha and it's still accessible on my page but probably not after this interaction. Very odd and rude response for a simple review:/ all I said was the old matcha was better....sorry that struck a nerve.

This cafe knows their core drinks are winners and doesn't rely on full-menu revamps every season to keep customers coming back. As you can see, I am a repeat customer of their Matcha on matcha, but each of the other drinks have been delicious as well. The Orange tonic is on the sweeter side, but you can still taste the bitterness from the coffee and super fizzy tonic water. They put the freshest puree in the strawberry matcha with a natural-tasting sweetness. The goth latte is a must try that you can't find anywhere else. Arc both sells and uses Rocky's matcha in their drinks; a matcha which tastes nutty and roasty. Despite the batch mixing, the matcha is never clumpy or lacking in flavor. The inside is super minimal, yet approachable. While customers constantly rotate through the small space, there is never a long wait and I usually find a seat.
