Aloe Fruit Juice Passionfruit with boba

There are so many choices for tea here. We settled on an Aloe Fruit Juice Passion Fruit with boba. The flavor was so awesome. The amount of boba was a bit disappointing though. They were also pretty small. The drink was quickly made and with a smile.

Ding Tea has the variety of many choices of tea. They are different in taste in fact it's something you will truly enjoy. Everything is made fresh it's fun to watch especially getting them seal. The staff is ready to fit you with your very own special blend of tea. Some are mixed with milk and the others with both tea and coffee. While you are waiting bring your lap top it's nice to sit down too. That is all. Chief Chaos at the last minute will encourage greatness.

Be careful! Not an honest business! I was planning to order 2 drinks today and found out my account has a free drink from them, so I ordered the same kind of milktea using the award (see my order confirmation in picture) and when my friend picked up the order, they told her the "owner doesn't allow for free drink", so they only made 1 milktea, also, they can't do "no ice" either even though it was an option on the order site online. No of these changes were communicated to me as a customer in advance, and their attitude was basically "not much we can do" without any sincere apologies. Very poor business service, and they have lost another bubble tea loving customer for good.

    Online ordering not available

My family is in town, I was excited for them to try Ding Tea. My sister was picking up food around the area and to make things more convenient I wanted to do a call ahead order so she could just pick up and go. When I called they said they didn't do call ahead orders. They only did online orders. But when you go online door dash says it's temporarily closed on door dash. So my sister said it's fine, she will just order in person. When she did order in person, the person at the tea house made the order incorrectly. My sister got the size wrong, toppings weren't added even though that's what was asked. Then when I called ahead about her mistake, she dismissed me. I go here regularly and normally don't have any issues but this time and today, I was particularly not pleased.

We do enjoy coming here to pick up a beverage and place a dessert. They are conveniently located with lots of parking in a shopping plaza with other restaurants. The service is good. The workers want to help out pretty quickly, but we ordered a few items in our group and they didn't get the drinks right - again. The drink I got was a lychee tea with jellies and it was good, but unfortunately the rest of the group didn't get theirs as ordered. The store is clean and has a good amount of seating.

I've always known about the Ding Tea in Madison Heights, and I've recently visited this location in Novi. Upon entering you'll definitely notice how stylish the inside looks with plenty of Instagram worthy moments to capture. It seems like it's always busy, so I'd like to believe people really enjoy their drinks and keep coming back! I ordered the Aloe Vera Kiwi juice, and the Mango slush with coconut jelly. Both drinks tasted really good, but I might have overdid it with the sweetness because boy were they sweet. That falls on me since they literally ask you what level of sugar you'd like like most bubble tea shops. The portions they offer are very large as well. They have quiet a large menu so they're tons of options to choose from. There are seats inside, but for the time being I don't believe you can sit down inside due to the pandemic and all. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

This location gives great service; they always make time to patiently answer all your questions. I Love the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Golden Boba. It's delicious hot or cold. Give yourself a treat and try it; you'll definitely like, if not love it! Another Bonus: this location offers a reward program! Check it out as it's convenient to order ahead with the Clover app.

Bubble tea after Korean food is always a great idea. Taiwanese tea spot with Korean girl band on the TV in the background. Passion fruit slush and the monster boba latte. Should have realized the signature boba milk tea was not the passion fruit I had ordered at all. It's more expensive than the passionfruit slush. I ended up with my originally requested passionfruit slush, which is worth the calories and tasty too. The staff are all nice and cool about fixing the order. One member was exceptionally friendly. He apologized to us several times for the mistake in order. Oddly enough, he wasn't the one that took our order, but he was the only one that apologized. He's Great at customer service, he gives five star service here. The passion fruit slushwas tasty and as expected, good. The monster boba latte quite yummy.

Great service, good product, and reasonable prices -- everything I'd look for in a boba place. During pandemic times, they didn't have indoor seating, but the ordering process was streamlined and drinks were completed quickly. Ample parking in this complex's lot allow for it to be a great place to meet up with friends and hang out as well. Overall I'd say that this is clearly going to be a huge hangout spot post-pandemic, and a big competitor for some of the other brand name boba shops that have opened up in the Novi/ Farmington Hills area.

*COVID19 Edition* Gah! Thwarted again. I've been here a few times, and the bubble tea's always been fine. Not a stand out when it comes to bubble tea, but it did the job. Worthy of 4 stars most likely. But this latest visit, just annoyed me enough to knock off a star. I submitted my order online through their website, and when I arrived, my drink wasn't ready so I was stuck having to wait. I waited until I got home before I decided to take a drink, that was my mistake. Instead, I got grass jellies instead of golden boba and that texture just does not do it for me. Not what I paid for. There are more and boba places opening up in Metro Detroit, and while the prospect excites me, some places are going to be more worthwhile than others. I'm not in any rush to give this place another go.

Some friends and I went here today after eating lunch at Dae Jang Keum. I had heard that a Ding Tea location was actually opening today in Madison Heights, so I was curious to try out this location and see if I liked it or not. My standard order is almond milk tea, which, surprisingly, they did not have - I say 'surprisingly' because their menu is vast. I ended up trying a hazelnut milk tea, which was quite good. They also didn't have lychee jellies, so I got it with mango stars, but they have a large selection of add-ons as well. My boyfriend got a mango milk tea with mango stars and also enjoyed it, although I found it to be SUPER sweet, and I usually like super sweet drinks. Two other friends got the taro tea and I think both enjoyed theirs; one got hers with golden boba, and she said it tasted the same as the regular boba. Similar to Kung Fu Tea, I noticed you can also ask for less sugar in your drinks; I never do this, but I have some friends who swear by it. Overall, pretty much your standard bubble tea place, but I enjoyed it. I will have to check out the Madison Heights location now, too, as it's closer to where I live.

I like the fact that there is a lot of customization available here (5 levels of sweetness and 5 levels of ice), but a lot of the drinks can't have their sweetness adjusted, so it's not really as customizable as it seems. For example, I wasn't able to adjust the sweetness level of my hazelnut milk tea. The tea was okay, but nothing special. The hazelnut flavor was very slight, which was disappointing. Prices seem pretty on par with other bubble tea places. The final verdict is that I'd be open to coming back here in the future, but it's not something I'd crave and not something for which I'd go out of my way.

Another new tea shop in Novi . For some reason there must be a big demand in Novi that there are like 3 tea shop opened within a year. So this place apparently is a chain from Taiwan, not locally own. Their cup still have the Taiwanese phone number on it. Nice atmosphere, the staffs are nice but new. I had the regular milk tea just to test it out. Not bad. The taste of tea is not very strong but it's not too milky. To me I think kung fu tea is a little better in terms of the tea alone. I still recommend to try it out though. It is better than 80% of the tea place in Detroit

They put cool stickers to keep it covered on top.

We were a little confused though, because Hers Zakka is a small Japanese market, and the influencer video made it seem there was a cafe inside (did not see mention of Onezo Cafe). Actually, Hers Zakka is a market, but it does not sell cooked food. For that, you go to Onezo Cafe, and the two businesses are joined on the inside. That being said, Hers Zakka has a lot of cute items and yummy-looking snacks, that we fully intend to return and explore later. Now, I will focus the rest of my review on Onezo Cafe. Onezo Cafe is very spacious with comfy seats and a cute setup. There is a glass case full of delicious-looking confections, but my husband and I needed real food. We walked to the counter and ordered, then we noticed the ordering kiosk off to the side. The staff was very friendly.... My husband ordered the Karaage chicken combo (#8), which came with salad, California rolls, and either a tonkatsu miso or spicy tofu broth. I ordered the Korean fried chicken (KFC) combo (#10), which came with rice, salad and the same broth choices. Though my husband and I both chose spicy tofu broth, they gave him the tonkatsu, and to my dismay the spicy tofu had egg in it. Since my husband has a pork allergy and I'm allergic to eggs, we just switched. While I'm not a fan of pork, I must say the tonkatsu miso broth was delicious! My husband said the same about the spicy miso. The California rolls on my husband's place looked very mayoey, so I could not try them. My husband confirmed however, that they were indeed very good. The chicken on both our plates was very good. The Karaage was fried well and had a very good taste. The KFC was essentially the Karaage rolled in sauce. While tasty, the KFC sauce was more sweet than spicy, when I prefer more of a kick. Onezo Cafe also sells boba teas. My husband got the Coral Sea with Crystal Boba (lychee honey lemon tea), and I got the Grape Crush with Aloe (subbed coconut jelly). Both teas were delicious. We lived on the East Coast for a while, and there was a boba tea chain named Mr. Wish. I used to practically mainline this stuff, and was sad there was no Mr. Wish in MI - or anything close. One sip of my Grape Crush had me saying "Mr. Who?"! I'm not being patronizing. After three years back home I had given up on finding a boba tea I liked as much as Mr. Wish! The portion was perfect, as we were able to fill our bellies with minimal food waste. We had a plan to grab a few of their onigiri (rice balls) for later along with a dessert, but we were too full! Our total order (including tax)nwas about $40, which was a good value. I'm giving a 4-star rating. It was not clear that the spicy tofu soup contained egg, and the KFC was more sweet than spicy. Im not counting the soup mixup because that actually was a blessing in disguise. We will definitely return to explore the menu more! Same for Hers Zakka; I have my shopping list ready!

Call it what you will, in simple layman's terms it is a rice flour based treat that has a unique light weight chewy/stretchy texture that can be covered in a host of sweet toppings/glazes for unique flavor profiles. With this definition in mind, the Mochinuts made at this business are very well made and quite tasty treats that just disappear off your plate. How did that happen (: Realtive to facility and staff, the staff is very friendly and spent the time explaining how these treats are made and what makes them unique from a traditional donut. Building itself is quite clean and bright with some indoor seating and sells other items to include Rice Hotdogs (think hotdog on a stick), Mochi Dumplings (think filled Pierogi's), Taiyaki (rice flour fish with fillings), Ramen and Macrons. Definately a rather unique/eclectic menu from what you typically see in this area. I was pretty enamored with all aspects of this business with the exception of their prices where each Mochinut is $4.50 which is quite steep in my opinion. Two of us got the bubble tea. This is not the first Mochinut we have been to, and the tea is super cute in a can, but ensures you get less product (plus way too much ice) for the price. Really, there are better bubble tea places out there for better value. One got a donut. And others have said, while it was good, not as fresh as it could have been. Does that mean they are not moving the product? The other mochinut in Troy and Mochidough in Troy both move a lot of product, donuts taste fresher. We also got some viral ice creams. We got the chicken burger and the mini fruits. Those were both amazing, but not made by the shop. just sold here. Plus the ice cream was so super overpriced, I can get them both for a fraction of the price, but since we were here and it was on my list, I bought them anyway. I am not saying I am not coming, back, but I can buy these corndogs at the grocery store, and get a friendlier service and more value elsewhere, so this could be a one and done for me.

Our shopping went quickly and we had some time to kill and a quick google search revealed that there was a well-reviewed boba shop inside! Now, even with Google Maps and the help of the map inside the mall, we had some trouble finding Sweeting. It's not in the main / largest food court. However, once we finally found it, we were golden! They have a very small dining area (maybe 2-3 tables) and you can order at one of two kiosks or at the counter. We placed an order at the kiosk and found it very easy to maneuver. They have a small but tasty sounding food menu too, but we kept it to drinks having just eaten lunch. Our orders came out reasonably fast. We got a peach black tea with lychee and the tiramisu milk tea with coffee jelly. Both were yummy! The jelly textures were really great. I preferred the tiramisu -- it was sweet and a great dessert. The peach was good too, but something about the peach flavor was just a tad too artificial for me. We still enjoyed it, just the tiramisu was our preference! Would recommend for a quick boba fix! :)
