If there ever was a place w/a space time distortion-- it's this supermarket --- u walk in past noon for a bottle of sake (huge collection) and leave out n it's dark out--with a cart full of snacks u may not like-- but looks cool--service is top tier n can feel the workers enjoy the place ----has an in store restaurant w good sushi--

Wow what a find! My husband found this and we tried their sushi and it was delicious!!! I also ordered the beef bowl and it was sooo good! Their rice and flavoring of beef was perfect. The seating area is small but thankfully we were able to get a spot. There is no water offered. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean!! They have a good selection of snacks and I found some Miffy stuff! We are definitely returning here.

I really like this place! I came in just looking for rice flour, but I was really impressed by the variety of all the fresh meat/produce, frozen things, bakery items, snacks, etc., and also the amazing sushi assortment! They have a vast array of ready to go sushi/salad etc. and you can also order any sushi, curry rice, soup, etc from their little restaurant. And theres tables to eat at too. It was a really nice surprise and we've been back a few times to pick up dinner.

I wish there was a store like this in West Michigan! We drove out to Novi for the day because I was craving an onigiri. DISCLAIMER: they do not have fresh onigiris from what I seen. Many snacks, green tea matcha, beverages, beauty supplies, fish and much more to buy! There are gachapon mini claw machines! There are fresh foods prepared in the left back corner of the store. Very clean inside and bright. There is a little place where you can grab a quick bite in the left back corner of the store. I wanted their pair plushie keychains (two magnetic plushies in a pair) that were adorable!

I ordered the spicy California and shrimp tempura with miso soup on the side. Rice was cooked to perfection and the California was so generously stuffed with avocado. I always recommend ordering from the menu rather than the refrigerated to go sushi.

Not just your average grocery sushi, but the best Japanese grocery store in Michigan grocery store sushi. Glad they opened up again to dine in post covid. Thinking it's also new ownership but the sushi quality has been maintained with the change of owners. Don't let this place being inside One World Market full you. The food quality is great for the price you pay. Very limited on your drink options but again, you're not going here for the drinks! It's SUSHI OR BUST! Small Japanese market with a great selection of ready to go sushi and sashimi. I like both their rolls and sashimi. Decent quality and reasonable prices. It tastes fresh. I don't recommend the lunch sets though. Tried that once with the mackerel and it was dry and not fresh. They offer chopsticks and extra soysauce packets at the register if needed. You can pay and eat at their cafe in the back too or order other dishes made to order for dining. There's also mini claw machines that are $1 to play near the entrance. Additionally, they sell cute little plush keychains and mini photo keychain albums but they're pricy.

Food and service are still the best choice for sushi, matched by their original Nobel location. The 2 stars are for the environmental unconscious management. The self serve water and tea has been replaced by plastic bottled water. I rather pay the $1.25 for good old Detroit City tap water please. Also very disappointed to no longer have the option for the green low sodium soy sauce. The glass bottles of soy have been replaced by a super inconvenient and messy box of soy sauce packets.

One World Market is a staple and I have been coming here for years. I love stopping in to grab their pre made sushi to go. It's always very fresh and has remained reasonably priced over the years. It is one of the few places in Michigan that I trust for raw fish! It is frequented often by local Japanese so you know it's good!

Ordered a one world tray and a couple of salmon bowls for pickup during Christmas week and order was ready on time. Staff was nice and ordering was a simple process using an ordering sheet. All the sushi was delicious and portion size was great for the bowls. Great quality fish inside of a grocery store, highly recommend. They recently got a few tables for indoor seating as well.

Good sushi, they have a little restaurant inside. Grocery is kinda pricey but good selection of Japanese goods. I think because of weak Japanese yen currently, some snacks and ramen prices didn't change much. Local produce and products on the other hand has prices increase. Premade sushi used to be under $10 even at large rolls but now Shrimp sushi rolls are like $11.50.

Put in your sushi order, do your shopping, eat your sushi, done. (The kiosk indicated a 25 minute wait, in reality it was 10 minutes) Quality is amazing. My favorite place is Noble Fish and I heard this market is owned by the same company. (Idk if that's true, but based on the quality I believe it). The space is no frills but you have everything you need, and absolutely delicious. The salmon and scallops were so buttery and soft. The toasted sesame seeds on top of the tuna maki were a delicious addition adding a nice nuttiness. In the words of a certain 80's action star: I'll be back!

I was told this was a good place to order BBQ brisket? Is that still on the menu with the argentine sausage?

Don’t feel bad Justin, I’m sure lots of folks assume that a sushi restaurant will carry Argentine cuisine (note sarcasm lol), but I just checked the menu while I was there and can confirm a solid ‘no’ on the brisket and sausage. Darned good sushi… Read more

They went above and beyond with designing up the interior space to make it appear like you might be in a small alleyway grabbing some food, very night market-style! Our waiter - Ruby!!! - was absolutely incredible from start to finish and given that I came here with 2 of my friends and it was all of our first times, she was able to break everything down for us succinctly and clearly. There is definitely a time limit per table - 90 minutes - and that pressure is put on you right away, but it ended up being the perfect amount of time so we didn't feel entirely rushed at the end of the meal by any means. It was just a lot at the top that essentially as soon as you are seated at your table, your time begins! So if you haven't been here before, I would definitely recommend taking a look at the menu ahead of time if you can just to get a bit of the lay of the land and make that start of the process easier. We had to choose right away which level of dining we were going to go for and thankfully, my group and I are very decisive so it wasn't a long conversation to decide (especially given the entire table needs to do the same level as well. Ultimately, we went with the Gold Wagyu set, which gives you Japanese Wagyu! I have heard the basic wagyu set (American wagyu) is not good, but that the Silver Wagyu set (Australian wagyu) is definitely decent. For our first time, we wanted to ball out and it was absolutely worth it! Each set gives you specific limited items as well and the ones at the Gold level - especially the wagyu nigiri - were to die for! Service was crazy fast, we placed an order for all of our meats and other side dishes we might be interested in on the tablet and then went up to the counter to get our sauces and other side dishes. By the time we got back to the table, all of our ordered items were there in a tower at our table and we basically only got up once or twice after that to replenish side dishes for the rest of the time. Everything we had was DELICIOUS, but the particular stars aside from the wagyu nigiri, were all the Japanese wagyu dishes AND the chicken skin gyoza. Holy guacamole we got so many of those lil chicken skin buggers because they were ADDICTING and I have never had anything quite so yummy before! I completely get the hype of Chubby Cattle! It is unlike hotpot anywhere else in Michigan right now so is definitely a place you want to check out if you're a lover of the hotpot style of dining. So fun, such a great time! I will definitely be back soon!

He did change our reservation time twice for us but that was the extent of my good experience here. Because of traffic, the friend meeting me was a little late so I sat alone for a little bit. I told our waitress that... she came back a little bit later saying "are you ready to order" .... My friend still hadn't come and I already told her that. The thing is, I understand forgetting so that's what I thought happened. But it became clear that her attitude was intentional. While I was sitting alone, I noticed an ant crawling on my table that I had to kill & I was seated next to some windows and there was subsequently a FLY that I also had to kill ("but you didn't have to kill it"... shut up yes I did) I also had a sushi menu that was already written on. I dont know weird. I understand the appeal of the old house converted into a nice restaurant but it still just smelled like old house and lowkey like rotting wood. The windows also were clean. I dont know it was just bad ambience until it got dark. NOW THE FOOD... The miso soup was my favorite thing on the menu. So that is saying something. My two rolls were underwhelming at best. The fish was chewy.. but a bad chewy. There was barely any fish. The cucumber kimchi was bad. The cucumbers were not good quality. It felt like they were old actually. At the end, our waitress was lowkey rushing us. I swear it was the most I had seen her all night. She set the bill down, would split it for us... she said she'd split it after we put our cards down... what does that mean??? So whatever, me and my friend just paid 50/50 on the bill. (Even tho the menu expressly said that they can't split bills for parties of more than 8). We were only two people. Whatever. Dont come here unless you're just interested in cute vibes.
