They also have an impressive variety of kitchen and cooking items. I recently purchased a new rice cooker because the one I had at home had definitely seen better days. It was so convenient to have a store close by with a nice selection of quality rice cookers to choose from. The service has always been kind, friendly, and welcoming. I also really enjoy the bright, clean atmosphere--it makes shopping here such a pleasant experience. It's wonderful to have a store like this in Novi, and I love seeing how much they continue to grow and improve. Every visit seems to bring something new to discover, and it truly keeps getting better and better!

The location was rather obscure as it wasn't right at the corner of a major intersection. As I was coming north on Meadowbrook Rd, I drove right past the driveway because I wasn't expecting it to be that far south of 10 Mile Rd. The structure had a drive through window, but it wasn't currently being used. The parking lot was huge with spaces in front of and to the west of the building. The main entrance brought you into the market, however if you kept walking towards the back, it will lead you to OneZo Cafe. We don't have this boba tea chain in my hometown as you have to drive north to OC for the nearest branch. What struck me about this cafe was how roomy the space was. The tables and sofas were placed well apart from each other. More furniture could easily have been added without crowding the area. It's the largest seating capacity I have encountered for such a business and is a great place to do work. My feedback will be strictly for the beverages I ordered from OneZo Cafe. I did not spend time perusing the shelves of merchandise at Hers Zakka Market. A self-service kiosk was to the right of the service counter. I chose two drinks from the Creative Mix section of the menu. The first was a Peach Oolong Tea with Popping Boba. The second was a Grape Green Tea Crush with Aloe Jelly. The cashier informed me that the popping boba variety was unavailable so I made a substitution with regular boba which I preferred anyway. The oolong tea flavor was noticeable and not overshadowed by the fruitiness of the peach. The pearls had a soft chewiness to them. Not many spots offer grape as a flavor for their fruit teas. Whenever I see grape on the menu, it's usually one of my picks. The liquid was purple in color and not too sweet. The aloe jelly was alright but not as good as the pearls. Meal sets, onigiri, karaage, and curry rice were just some of the savory food offerings on the menu. Desserts like egg waffles, cream puffs, and tiramisu were also available. The next time I am in town, I will have to make a return visit and sample some of these items. OneZo Cafe is not a highly visible business, yet I think it's underrated for what it delivers. I gave a 4.5 star rating for my initial experience.

Grabbed a chocolate croissant, custard danish, garlic cheese bacon bun and a garlic hotdog. The chocolate croissant had two sides dipped in chocolate and the filling is a chocolate mousse, it's different. The croissant is much heavier and more dense than I like. Cost less than $25 The custard danish is quite strange. The custard isn't smooth, more of a ricotta texture and feel. The danish is rather heavy to me. Not so yummy to me. The garlic cheese and bacon bun is an open sandwich and is extremely greasy. The almond cookies are okay. The garlic hotdog is what it says, it's so-so. Coffee and pastries were all underwhelming.

I ordered a milk tea which was pleasant, not the best I've had but the price was very reasonable. The tapioca was interesting, irregularly shaped and chewy, and the core was a bit harder than the rest of it. My friend enjoyed her matcha. I can see this being a nice place to bring your sushi/bento from One World Market next door, grab a drink, and hang out!

We got a peach black tea with lychee and the tiramisu milk tea with coffee jelly. Both were yummy! The jelly textures were really great. I preferred the tiramisu -- it was sweet and a great dessert.
