This place has great ambience, staff and drinks. They have games that customers can play and a cute little Photo Booth. They do have vegan options which makes this place 10X better. Great place all around.

Brown Sugar Milk Tea

This is my local go-to bubble tea place! I can always expect my tea to be yummy and the boba to be perfect. I got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea, it was my first time getting something off the "secret menu" and it was delicious. Lots of room to sit and play games. Friendly and quick!

The milk tea was spot on - creamy, sweet and delicious. I tried their roasted chestnut milk tea, pistachio milk tea, and oolong milk tea and all three of them were delicious. The regular bubble (boba) topping was super tough/hard, so I don't recommend it at all. Instead, go for their Wow boba - soft, chewy, warm, and sweet.

This is one of the best bubble tea spots in Novi. They're a chain so you may have seen another location around. The prices here are reasonable and they have lots of choices. The staff here are very helpful as well. I remember once I came in and a woman (who I assume has never had bubble tea ) was having the hardest time ordering , but they helped her and were very patient and kind about it. I'm glad they did as I was in a rush! You really can't go wrong with getting the Milk tea but my favorite item here is the Strawberry Lemonade with the Aloe Vera jelly. It's tastes sooo good if you like sweet drinks. Many people simply get their orders and they have games like uno and connect 4 if you'd like to sit and play games with a friend. I think this is pretty cool bubble tea place and worth the visit.

I needed something sweet, sugary and bobbaly too. Christmas shopping is so not fun or cool, the lines during the weekday is maddening too. It's next to the escape room. Ordered a medium mint Oreo slush with added boba and Oreos too with 50% sweetness to it. It's an interesting drink, minty and cookie filled for sure. The bobas are nice, soft and chewy. Nice sugar buzz to get me through the rest of the afternoon and errands too.

I've been to this location several times and I like their drinks. This time I had the Cocoa lava slush. Another good choice. Also, I usually ask for light Boba. I want to enjoy the drink itself instead of chewing most of the time.

Rosehip with mango jelly and boba

The Detroit area, and Michigan actually, is almost completely lacking in good bubble tea.. most who sell bubble tea could never get away with their product in the coastal states. Kung Fu is consistent and reliable. The tapioca always tastes fresh and chewy and the milk tops are perfect. The chain leans very sweet so make sure and adjust your sugar when you order (easiest to order online where you can also specify ice and add ons, etc) I ordered 3: rosehip with bubbles and mango jelly, green melon with bubbles & a black tea mango. All three were good quality and were ready long before predicted time on the app Kung Fu is more often found near larger college campuses so it's a bonus to have one here in the Novi shopping area.

I am starting to think Kung Fu Tea is the best bubble tea in the area. I ordered the Cocoa Cream milk tea. Now I must preface that I really don't like the tapioca boba at all, but I heard about the special way Kung Fu prepares their boba, and how fresh and good is tastes! They are completely correct! While I still don't love boba, this was the most incredible tasting boba I have ever had anywhere! It was so flavorful and chewy, I really enjoyed it. The cocoa cream was also not my favorite, but it was not due to the drink not being great, but more of my personal taste. It was refreshing and chocolatey. Besides the boba I also added beans which I love. It think I would order something new next time. I knew it was a popular drink, so I wanted to try it. And for those who like this flavor, I would highly recommend it. One child got the strawberry lemonade. I did not try it, but she enjoyed it, and it smelled nice a fruity. The other child got my taro slush (my actual favorite flavor as well) with Oreo, beans, and pudding. Now that one was amazing!!!! I love the combo of cookies and beans, as unusual as that seems. Plus the pudding which I was told was an egg custard, but so nice and added a new dimension. The staff was friendly. I love the way the machines shake the teas. The whole set up is fun and inviting. There are so many flavors and combinations, it makes it hard to decide what order since I love trying new flavors (even if they are not my favorites). This is a fun place. Unfortunately they did not have any of their macarons. I am not sure when they ran out, or when they are getting more. I believe the Rochester location had them when I went last week. A couple other things, I still think this place is a bit pricey and I wish they had more popping bubble flavor options, for now it looks like they have only three. But I like how you can control the ice and the sugar in each drink. There was a nice steady number of people coming in and out getting teas. This location has been a few things, but this seems to be the most successful concept. I really hope they are here to stay! Since I am prone to go out and treat myself to fun drinks like this quite often, we will be back soon.

Left to Right: Winter Melon Green Tea, Pistachio Milk Tea, Cereal Milk Cronch

Always enjoy coming here, especially for their WOW boba. This time I wanted to try their normal pearls rather than their black sugar pearls, which I later regretted this decision. The flavor teas we got were all super good! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the cereal milk cronch boba and the pistachio milk tea was sweeter than what I had in mind. Nevertheless, I enjoyed all the teas I got.

Taro milk tea was not taro at all, only tasted sugar, milk, and boba. Service was good, but the taste was quite bad.

For my first drink here I ended up getting a latte where the espresso was made from organic fresh roasted in house beans. The drink was very well made with the correct ratio of milk to espresso and was creamy, balanced, where the espresso clearly shined through and most importantly the drink was quite tasty. Relative to staff and facility, Joe the owner greeted me as I walked in the door and was very friendly and outgoing where he knew the names of several customers as they walked into the coffee shop. Joes friendly demeanor appears to be one of the strengths of this business, aside from his excellent coffee, as evidenced the return customers that came in during the short period I was in his shop. The facility is quite clean with a nice coffee shop vibe to it. It has a smaller footprint with a limited number of tables for indoor dining where they also sell fresh roasted coffee beans by the bag, some pastries, and prepared food among other things. Overall great coffee at a reasonable price and a friendly owner makes this a shop not to be missed if you in the Novi area. Especially if you are a coffee geek like me.

I didn't think anything was outstanding. I like the fact that the donuts weren't overly sweet but still tasty. It was probably the consistency that was not my favorite. I would like to try some of the savory items next time, including the sandwiches. Aesthetically, Paris baguette is nice, it was smaller than I expected, and that is fine. What stood out is the prices for pretty much everything are quite high. Individual items started about four dollars so, if you decide to get a bunch of stuff, it would be cost prohibitive. The person at the counter was pleasant enough. I noticed that the person working was the only one who was customer facing. I did not see any other employees. This can become an issue when that particular one person is making a coffee drink for somebody and it does take a long time to get back to the people in line. That is no fault of that person at all and I understand. Overall, the experience was decent. I will probably give them another try in the near future just to try other items.

This is a very…read moreopinionated review, but based on 50 years of lucky access to very fine coffees, and ideally you will consider it more enthusiastic and informed than smug and annoying. We live on the West Coast, were looking for Yemini coffee, and fortunately found Qamaria's website, ordering the Gate of Yemen dark roast. The roast is lighter and less oily than a French roast, as it should be, with some oil in the beans appropriate to something called a dark roast. We would say that Qamaria not only skillfully but more importantly respectfully roasts for the bean. This coffee makes us very happy, with a good dark "round" and balanced aroma to the ground beans and the brew. We made it pour over, but it feels most appropriate to stove top espresso or traditional style. It has a very satisfying long tail. A pour with a plot. A touch of the right kind of bitterness. The bean crushes easily between the fingers and grinds up finer than the espresso blend that we drink pour over (45% French Roast using Columbian beans, 45% Italian Roast using Mexican beans and 10% dark roast using Indonesian beans). Qamaria dark roast makes a pour over cup that is thicker than expected, which we find very satisfying: it's a sort of the character of traditional brewing but in a Chemex. We like the surprising way that a slight, fine sediment sneaks through the pour over paper filters and spreads across the tongue. Next we will move on to other Qamaria roasts and blends, brewing on stove top. The price point kills us, but how does one settle for ordinary to save money, when extraordinary gives such pleasure?
