    Sad masubi
    Lily N.

I've been here quite a few times and it has honestly gone down hill for a while now. I typically would come here and get the combo of masubi and milk tea. The milk tea the last 3 times have been bland and watered down and the masubi is usually a hit or miss. After tonight's poor attempt I don't see myself coming back for a while. The masubi had the thinnest and smallest piece of spam that didn't even cover the whole piece of rice, the seaweed wasn't wrapped, it was a piece on top and a piece on the bottom so ultimately when you pick it up it falls apart. And to top it off when I came in, there was no one else in the place and it smelled like CIGARETTES. I told the cashier it smelled like cigarettes and they just laughed at me. I've been here at least a dozen times in the last few months and it's gotten worst each time. Do yourself a favor and drive a little further to Kung Fu Tea, you'll save yourself $12. Get better employees, Quickly.

Only giving it 2/5 because of the interior being clean and nice. Other than that if I were just eating the food it would be 1/5. The teriyaki chicken bowl is just Tyson frozen chicken with teriyaki squeezed over it and the rice. Crab ragoons were over cooked. Horrible taste. The fried Oreos were terrible - mostly dough soaked with oil. Boba tea did not taste good at all - had a weird taste. Service was very slow and employees didn't seem very happy. Not authentic at all. Very disappointed. This place has so much potential.

Passion fruit green tea with mango popping pearls

Love a boba place with tons of options including food which I want to try next time I go. Good price too for such a large drink! 4 stars‍ for my passion fruit green tea and mango popping pearls drink‍ only thing is that it is very sweet so will need to ask for less sugar next time! If you are looking for a cute cafe vibe this one is lacking a bit in atmosphere but the mural is cute! Service was super quick so always a bonus as well.

    Snickerdoodle and Strawberry with boba

As we walked in we were greeted with a smell of clean. The huge chalkboard with many pictures and greetings was so cool. It's a quiet place. Music would add to the ambience as you ponder the endless combinations of Boba Tea. After you get your drink, you can lounge in the corner hanging chair or in one of the various seats. Maybe crack open one of the various games that they have available to play. My daughter wasn't as happy with her Strawberry Boba Tea. She said it tasted a bit watered down. Kind of weak in the flavor department. My Snickerdoodle Tea was delicious though. I would get it again.

Got Musubi absolutely Wonderful Delicious you go now

Really hard to find this delicious treat. Been on my list since opening, I was in the hood. Spam musubi is a snack and lunch food composed of a slice of grilled Spam sandwiched either in between or on top of a block of rice, wrapped together with nori in the tradition of Japanese onigiri. Found everywhere in Hawaii Restaurants and 7 11 around the island's. Spot on Wonderful Delicious with a mega Honeydew drink. Going back soon for a full dine inside experience, got great food on the menu. #quicklybobacafe @quickly_livonia #boba #musubi #honeydewtea #spammusubi #downriverfriendseat #livoniami

Games to play and enjoy for dine-in customers.

I was really excited to see Quickly opening in Livonia, but as much I really wanted to like this place, our experience today was not great. First off, the tapioca was not ready when we we were there around 11 am. The way I see it, all toppings should be pre-prepared and be made ready by the time the store opens. Otherwise, no one would want to step their foot on the store in the morning. Also, the matcha milk tea I ordered was not well mixed and ended up having lots of matcha lumps and grits at the bottom of my drink, and those bits were bitter! So that's that. Other that that, my matcha milk tea was decent at best. The store looked really nice though, and the girl at the counter was super nice and friendly to us. It was cute to see there was a ketchup bottle on each table.

The next day we came back and tried the bubble waffle, brown sugar bubble tea, and onigiri. We were a little confused though, because Hers Zakka is a small Japanese market, and the influencer video made it seem there was a cafe inside (did not see mention of Onezo Cafe). Actually, Hers Zakka is a market, but it does not sell cooked food. For that, you go to Onezo Cafe, and the two businesses are joined on the inside. That being said, Hers Zakka has a lot of cute items and yummy-looking snacks, that we fully intend to return and explore later. Now, I will focus the rest of my review on Onezo Cafe. Onezo Cafe is very spacious with comfy seats and a cute setup. There is a glass case full of delicious-looking confections, but my husband and I needed real food. We walked to the counter and ordered, then we noticed the ordering kiosk off to the side. The staff was very friendly.... My husband ordered the Karaage chicken combo (#8), which came with salad, California rolls, and either a tonkatsu miso or spicy tofu broth. I ordered the Korean fried chicken (KFC) combo (#10), which came with rice, salad and the same broth choices. Though my husband and I both chose spicy tofu broth, they gave him the tonkatsu, and to my dismay the spicy tofu had egg in it. Since my husband has a pork allergy and I'm allergic to eggs, we just switched. While I'm not a fan of pork, I must say the tonkatsu miso broth was delicious! My husband said the same about the spicy miso. The California rolls on my husband's place looked very mayoey, so I could not try them. My husband confirmed however, that they were indeed very good. The chicken on both our plates was very good. The Karaage was fried well and had a very good taste. The KFC was essentially the Karaage rolled in sauce. While tasty, the KFC sauce was more sweet than spicy, when I prefer more of a kick. Onezo Cafe also sells boba teas. My husband got the Coral Sea with Crystal Boba (lychee honey lemon tea), and I got the Grape Crush with Aloe (subbed coconut jelly). Both teas were delicious. We lived on the East Coast for a while, and there was a boba tea chain named Mr. Wish. I used to practically mainline this stuff, and was sad there was no Mr. Wish in MI - or anything close. One sip of my Grape Crush had me saying "Mr. Who?"! I'm not being patronizing. After three years back home I had given up on finding a boba tea I liked as much as Mr. Wish! The portion was perfect, as we were able to fill our bellies with minimal food waste. We had a plan to grab a few of their onigiri (rice balls) for later along with a dessert, but we were too full! Our total order (including tax)nwas about $40, which was a good value. I'm giving a 4-star rating. It was not clear that the spicy tofu soup contained egg, and the KFC was more sweet than spicy. Im not counting the soup mixup because that actually was a blessing in disguise. We will definitely return to explore the menu more! Same for Hers Zakka; I have my shopping list ready!

This is the original Z's location, shared with The Terry Melt. I used to visit decently often since…read moreit was the only boba shop within probably 10 or 15 miles. I always found it to be pretty average boba and on my most recent visit, my impression hasn't changed very much. Milk Tea, Original, Black, Lite Sweet, Lite Ice, Large w/ Boba ($6.00) - The drink tastes strange. There's almost a bit of almond essence flavor mixed in with some fruity undertones on top of the dairy creaminess. There's barely any tea flavor or astringency. It feels like this drink is made from powder and maybe they accidentally use the same scoop in multiple containers, which means the drinks get a little contaminated with off flavors. Not a great drink overall. The boba, on the other hand, is actually not bad at all - in fact, I feel like they've improved through the years. The boba used to be exceptionally hard with no chew, but it's now just a bit on the firm side for my tastes with a decent chew. They are soaked in a sugary syrup that helps balance the boba against the sweet drink. (3/5) They charge a 3% service charge even if you order in store rather than online. There still aren't a ton of boba shops around Dearborn and Dearborn Heights, so Z's certainly isn't a bad visit if you're in the area.
