The hubby and I love bubble tea. Our group of friends and family had dinner next door at Ichiban. We stopped by to get a drink after dinner. We were both full, so we shared a large pineapple/passion fruit smoothie with mango jellies $6 plus $1 for the frozen blended. It surely hit the spot. It wasn't too sweet and it wasn't too tart. I try to make a trip here anytime I have to go to or leave the airport. I live over 45 minutes away so the trip here is a bit out of the way without having a primary reason. But every time I come here, I get the Brown Sugar Boba. I get this drink at a lot of different places, but this one does it the best! The brown sugar glaze around the cup is *chefs kiss*. As an added bonus, they sell Dubai chocolate bars at a reasonable price compared to other places. read more

Z's is more of an American style boba place that focuses first and foremost on flavor additives rather than tea. The tea choice is actually relegated towards the bottom of the drink selection process but otherwise, the choices are pretty standard. Z's is most similar to the Metro Detroit boba places that existed prior to the explosion of shops between 2021 and now. I got the Brown Sugar Black Tea with less sugar and less ice and with boba. I could definitely taste the brown sugar and black tea. I found the drink to be extremely sweet - I actually had to brew additional tea at home to water the drink down. The boba itself was surprisingly decent. They use smaller boba size than most other places, which means you don't get that super satisfying chew, but they did cook it pretty well, maybe just very slightly on the hard side. I found the drink to be pretty average but then again, it is one of only two boba places Downriver so there's really not much competition. The drinks here are almost identical to the location in Dearborn Heights. If you enjoy the drinks there, you'll like the ones here as well. read more

I saw this place for months and kept telling myself to try it but kept driving by. But this time, I finally made the stop, and I'm so happy I did. This place is so awesome. The staff, the selections, the art decor, everything was cool. I was expecting just tea, but was surprised with the selection, from decaf, to matcha, to regular. I got several flavors mixed, so i can't remember what they were, but it was delicious. I really liked that the Boba bubbles came in different flavors and consistencies, I chose the fruit flavored bubbles. I will definitely be patronizing this establishment again. For me this place this is 5 stars on just customer service alone. We came in pretty late about half an hour to closing with my entire family, since I am in the visiting the area. They know how much I love boba so they brought me here. The Brown sugar boba with oat milk that I got was good, but the strawberry matcha one my daughter got was not. I asked if I could switch it out but since they were closing, they couldn't, which I guess is understandable. They did give me a cake pop even though I had already got one, but I felt that was good customer service. I will be visiting again. Just wish they had actual arcade games and not just machines with prizes in them. read more

This was our first EVER boba experience. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Very helpful with their recommendations and I will definitely keep coming back whenever we visit the area again. The taro flavor was recommended and was SO good! Will definitely get it again. Then we got a honeydew and mango flavored one, definitely a fantastic combination. Super refreshing.
