The strip mall parking lot had plenty of spaces as there really wasn't an anchor business that attracted a high volume of customers. The inside was nicely decorated including a map of Taiwan on the right wall describing various food and drink products that were specialties within the cities/counties of that country. It was quite informative. Two self-service tablets were along the left wall where you could place an order. The menu categories were Taiyaki, Shaved Snow Ice, Specialty Drinks, Milk Tea, Flavored Tea, Fresh Tea, Macchiato, and Latte. Looking at their online ordering page, I noticed that Onigiri and Sushi Rolls were also available. From the nearly one dozen varieties of flavored tea, I picked the Blueberry with a green tea base, boba pearls, less ice, and regular sweetness. The drink was very reasonably priced for the serving size. The blueberry flavor was prominent while the green tea was not. The boba quality was good with the right amount of chewiness. Compared to the larger boba tea chains in the Metro Detroit area, Yes Boba Cafe was just as good, if not better, than most of them. I gave a 4.5 star rating for my multiple experiences at this business.
