First impression was a good one. The place is open, bright and clean. It was very busy but not a bad wait. We ordered two drinks. The large was actually smaller than I thought it would be. I wish there were more popping bubble flavors. Nonetheless, both drinks were good. I recommend giving them a try. This will be a new local staple for my family and I.

Let's be realistic here. Not all Kung Fu Teas are created equal. Similar to other franchises, one location may reign superior over another, offering wildly different standards between establishments. I'm happy to report that this Kung Fu Tea seems built to last as superior over others! We were invited to Kung Fu Tea's soft opening, and it was a great time. The new space looks very open with lots of space to chill and hang out. There's still some potential to add some lounge-type furniture (maybe some board games) but otherwise they've got all the necessities to get the ball rolling with seats to enjoy your boba if that's your vibe. It was a very busy day too, including some people who had never tried bubble tea before. The employees were incredibly responsive and willing to offer suggestions for those who were new to the bubble tea experience. I was impressed with how well they were balancing taking orders and talking to the customers. The drinks themselves were all made fantastically. For me, you have to evaluate any boba by their original milk tea, and it definitely met the mark. The tapioca was a great consistency. The ratio of tapioca to tea was perfect. The milk tea had a great flavor. This Kung Fu Tea is a great addition to the Middlebelt/Plymouth corridor. Definitely expecting more great things.

Sweeter than typical boba but still good. Service was fast and they were patient to explain everything. It's a nice clean space- perfect for getting some work done

The store is pretty big for a boba shop. The vibes are cool in there & it's a good spot to do work on your laptop. I ordered the KF milk tea & the oolong milk tea. The tapioca pearls are crazy sweet so definitely lower your tea sweetness. The tea was full of flavor. My only complaint is that there was a huge amount of foam sitting at the top of the drinks. They should make an effort to remove the foam & fill the rest of the drinks up with milk tea. The foam is filler space & adds nothing to the drink. Another thing, the music here plays very annoyingly loudly so if you plan on doing work, bring a pair of noise cancelling headphones.

Exceptionally unpleasant, and we could not wait to leave the store after picking up our drink. Classic Milk Tea, Less Sugar, Less Ice, w/ Boba ($5.66) - The drink is sweetened appropriately, which doesn't allow it to overpower the tea flavor. The tea, sweetener, and milk powder are well balanced in general. This drink is pretty consist in taste and quality with all other Quickly locations. Boba-wise, the exterior is soft and loose, with some pieces sloughing off. It's crackly with grooves and crevices. The interior is more firm, but with a chew that is different from many other boba shops. I call this the "Quickly" texture because it's a very unique chew that really can only be found at Quickly and a small number of other shops. Must be the ratio of tapioca flour they use. Overall, it's a pretty average drink, similar to other Quicklys. Drink Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 I would not revisit this Quickly location purely due to the unpleasant smell inside. If that's something that you enjoy, more power to you I guess. Bathrooms: One unisex room in the back.

The strip mall parking lot had plenty of spaces as there really wasn't an anchor business that attracted a high volume of customers. The inside was nicely decorated including a map of Taiwan on the right wall describing various food and drink products that were specialties within the cities/counties of that country. It was quite informative. Two self-service tablets were along the left wall where you could place an order. The menu categories were Taiyaki, Shaved Snow Ice, Specialty Drinks, Milk Tea, Flavored Tea, Fresh Tea, Macchiato, and Latte. Looking at their online ordering page, I noticed that Onigiri and Sushi Rolls were also available. From the nearly one dozen varieties of flavored tea, I picked the Blueberry with a green tea base, boba pearls, less ice, and regular sweetness. The drink was very reasonably priced for the serving size. The blueberry flavor was prominent while the green tea was not. The boba quality was good with the right amount of chewiness. Compared to the larger boba tea chains in the Metro Detroit area, Yes Boba Cafe was just as good, if not better, than most of them. I gave a 4.5 star rating for my multiple experiences at this business.

The café is very tasty, and their menu has continued to expand with even more choices. There's a great selection of snacks, frozen goodies, specialty items, and I absolutely love the new in-store ramen cooking experience--such a fun addition! They also have an impressive variety of kitchen and cooking items. I recently purchased a new rice cooker because the one I had at home had definitely seen better days. It was so convenient to have a store close by with a nice selection of quality rice cookers to choose from. The service has always been kind, friendly, and welcoming. I also really enjoy the bright, clean atmosphere--it makes shopping here such a pleasant experience. It's wonderful to have a store like this in Novi, and I love seeing how much they continue to grow and improve. Every visit seems to bring something new to discover, and it truly keeps getting better and better!

This is a combination Asian market and bubble tea cafe under one roof of a former professional…read moreservices building in Novi. The location was rather obscure as it wasn't right at the corner of a major intersection. As I was coming north on Meadowbrook Rd, I drove right past the driveway because I wasn't expecting it to be that far south of 10 Mile Rd. The structure had a drive through window, but it wasn't currently being used. The parking lot was huge with spaces in front of and to the west of the building. The main entrance brought you into the market, however if you kept walking towards the back, it will lead you to OneZo Cafe. We don't have this boba tea chain in my hometown as you have to drive north to OC for the nearest branch. What struck me about this cafe was how roomy the space was. The tables and sofas were placed well apart from each other. More furniture could easily have been added without crowding the area. It's the largest seating capacity I have encountered for such a business and is a great place to do work. My feedback will be strictly for the beverages I ordered from OneZo Cafe. I did not spend time perusing the shelves of merchandise at Hers Zakka Market. A self-service kiosk was to the right of the service counter. I chose two drinks from the Creative Mix section of the menu. The first was a Peach Oolong Tea with Popping Boba. The second was a Grape Green Tea Crush with Aloe Jelly. The cashier informed me that the popping boba variety was unavailable so I made a substitution with regular boba which I preferred anyway. The oolong tea flavor was noticeable and not overshadowed by the fruitiness of the peach. The pearls had a soft chewiness to them. Not many spots offer grape as a flavor for their fruit teas. Whenever I see grape on the menu, it's usually one of my picks. The liquid was purple in color and not too sweet. The aloe jelly was alright but not as good as the pearls. Meal sets, onigiri, karaage, and curry rice were just some of the savory food offerings on the menu. Desserts like egg waffles, cream puffs, and tiramisu were also available. The next time I am in town, I will have to make a return visit and sample some of these items. OneZo Cafe is not a highly visible business, yet I think it's underrated for what it delivers. I gave a 4.5 star rating for my initial experience.

A pink floral wall contributed to a whimsical aesthetic while board games on the table gave entertainment options for patrons. I could see this as a space where friends gather to catch up and spend some downtime together. I appreciated that there wasn't any music playing so guests were able to focus on their conversation without worrying about white noise. The menu was clear yet not concise. There were many options - to the point that I felt overwhelmed. The workers were kind and patient, giving space for time to decide. I ordered the Mango milk tea with boba. When placing my order, the staff asked how much boba I would like while stating there were different amounts of boba offered as evidence by the 7 tier markings on the sample cup. I didn't realize that by following these directions, there would be an extra cost in addition to the drink price. I wish this had been communicated beforehand and think that transparency would contribute to stronger customer service relations. The drink had a sweet flavor and was light. I enjoyed the mango and it tasted similar to a juice. I thought the boba was dry. If I order a drink again, I would forego the boba toppings. Three stars because the drink flavor & the environment gave strong first impressions. I admit that not having been here before contributed to a lack of familiarity of the menu though I can't ignore the price paid for the taste of the boba. I'm open to frequenting them again & it's nice to know of another Boba chain to add to the rotation though I feel pretty ambivalent about them.

As a bubble tea afficionado, I am particularly down with Z's because they also carry less traditional, but solid bubble tea alternatives like cereal milk bubble tea and Red Bull bubble tea. Plus you don't get to see lychee jellies and mango stars everywhere, and I appreciate that Z's has all these more "fruity" options for those who might not be in the mood of the milkier, tea-ier drinks. It reminds me of Bubble Island in Ann Arbor if that gives anyone a frame of reference. It was just a question, but it seemed like she was not proud or that fact. I got two drinks: one matcha and one Oreo shake. Both drinks were mediocre and very milk-dominant. The matcha was sweetened and did not have a very matcha taste. The Oreo tastes like a diluted milkshake, not in a good way. On top of that, the prices advertised on the billboard are not what was charged, and I was charged a higher price for both drinks. The store was decorated in a unique way, which I'm not sure suited the product that the store is trying to sell. Not the best bubble tea place, in my opinion.
