I spoke to the manager in person twice, and both times he said he would call me that day. Two times now I have not received a call nor the reimbursement for the fabric uncharge. The late 90s, my wife were driving all over Rt110 and looking for a classic dining room set. I don't want a "square" table. I'm looking for something French Country, woods that are dark but not too dark. Are you feeling me Yelper? We go to lunch in Huntington Village. I had plans to stop in Classic Galleries after shopping all of the other traditional stores. Sure enough, we find the exact table I had in my mind. Two young parents who are decorating their house and are buying a pretty expensive piece of furniture. All the tables we looked at had 6 chairs. I ask the floor person, "Does this table come with 6 chairs"? Oh yes we're told. We give our deposit and place the order. We go to our parents and tell them about the new table, we're so excited. Yippie! The furniture takes about 2-3 months to ship to the USA. I noticed on the invoice there are no chair quantities. I call up and ask how the shipping is coming along and more importantly, there are no chair quantities on the invoice. Oh, there are 4 chairs shipping along with your table. WHAT! Yes, your order was place with the standard 4 chairs. If you'd like 2 more chairs you'll need to spend "x" amount and with the shipping it will cost "y". (Y=very expensive and raised the price point to where I did not what to be) And that folks is some sneaky BS to get a sale. I ask to cancel the order immediately. Oh and we're keeping $500 of my deposit. Have a nice day. Have a nice day?? Our little hearts were crushed. A $500 dollar loss was a hard lesson to learn. If I was shopping today, I wouldn't consider this place. Now RBS is merging with a 90 something year old kitchen dealer - that was for decades by the RR track on LI's south shore in Lindenhurst - They have a new space on the southern end of Rt 110 - Broadhollow Rd. Farmingdale. The showroom is new and spacious enough to properly display many lines they represent. Took plenty of photos to show examples. Best advice is do NOT get overwhelmed with kitchen jargon - like overlay.. inset .. painted.. Mid range, high end etc. There is no right or wrong. Showrooms let you get the look and feel of a kitchen and the inside of the cabinets.. how the drawers pull out... how they close. Etc Best thing is to pick a few that you like and ask for the price range and time to have delivered. I also usually ask where they are manufactured. Only a few places actually truly make cabinets on LI today - many claim to, but are really unpacking and or assembling.. and or painting. Lakeville is NOT manufacturing - they are representing the manufacturers as retailers - which means they need to sell enough to be authorized.. and so are familiar with the product. The salespeople know which ones are the best value, quality, time frame etc.. They have in house designers - that can help you plan the perfect layout. Think a few weeks ahead to not get disappointed if they have other people ahead of you for design work. We have been to Southold's RBC years back and were not wowed- then Riverhead itself and thought it a good showroom and excellent customer service... but this Lakeville division of RBC is their biggest showroom, and worth some time to compare cabinets. Much easier that just looking at door colors and a computer screen. Found lots of gorgeous displays and left inspired and closer to narrowing down the right choice.

We purchased Medallion cabinets in 2017 and they began to buckle and the paint pealed off. I contacted Lakeland Kitchen and after numerous phone calls and emails Lakeland with Medallion sent Legacy Touch Up to repair my cabinets. I truly did not think the could be repaired but I am happy to say Legacy did an amazing job and expoxy and painting to repair the damaged cabinets.. I decided to go on-line and find a location closer to my proximity than what they recommended. Atlantic Shores Furniture Service is located in an industrial strip mall. From my conversation with one of the owners, they specialize in most outdoor furniture repairs & restoration that include restrapping, umbrella repairs, and metal refinishing. They also provide many outdoor products such as cushions, umbrellas and other outdoor items. We were told that our restraping would be ready in three to four weeks. The good news is that they were ready in less than two weeks. The appearance of the finished restraping job definitely indicates that Atlantic firm believes in the quality and durability of their work.
