This is one of those businesses for which I must admit hesitating to write a five star review. The…read moreonly reason is I kind of want to perpetuate the secret that such an amazing business exists. We have been doing business with Rachel for years now. Everything from reupholstery to commissioning of brand new furniture, pillows, slipcovers...you name it. When I say every single piece of work has been flawless, I'm not exaggerating. Rachel delivers her work on time, at remarkable value, and is capable of virtually anything you can dream up. A recent example: we have a beautiful George Nakashima table and have always admired the leg support construction. We asked Rachel to build an art gallery-style bench with the same type of support. She simply looked at the table when she was here and, a few weeks later, delivered a stunning Nakashima style bench with exquisite black walnut legs. If I pointed to this bench and told you it was Nakashima, you would believe it. If you have furniture building or upholstery work of any level of challenge, Rachel will be the best phone call you ever placed.

I was sitting on it! How could I misuse it?! Eventually they agreed to pick up and fix it but not before I had to fight with them to do so. Everyone makes mistakes. It's how you deal with them that makes all the difference. If they had simply apologized and fixed their mistake, I wouldn't have to be writing this bad review.
