I visited this place on a trip to Toronto, I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee, which was excellent, and the baked goods were just as nice Definitely a nice place to hang out. You could also sit outside when the weather is nice.

This new uptown location is good for those of us who live in the suburbs. It's located at the southeast corner of York Mills and Bayview. The coffee shop offers a take out window and inside dining. We chose indoor dining because we wanted to chillax for a bit after our brunch. I ordered the vanilla latte which was so good and my hubby ordered the chai with white chocolate and a shot of espresso. It was ok. I tried that exact drink before at their Gerrard Location and it tasted better. Maybe it was just one of those days... We did not try the pastries but they looked really good. The service was friendly and the shop was very clean. Their bathroom is spotless. They did not check the vaccine passport.

Half cold cheese sandwich....not a "grilled" cheese sandwich.

Ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. I was given a warmed cheese sandwich. It's in the name "grilled cheese". The sourdough bread was good but warming the sandwich in the toaster and serving it half cold was not very pleasant.

I came here on an early Thursday morning with a friend. It is close to Sunnybrook Hospital and with the restrictions in place, we both were looking for a place to have some breakfast while our family members were at their respective appointments. Although we mainly chose this place due to its location close to the hospital, I was very pleasantly surprised by the restaurant! It is super cute and had a parisian aesthetic. Even the washroom was beautiful. There weren't many tables but we were lucky enough to snag one right away. Their matcha lattee was beautiful and also delicious. Their ham and cheese croissant was delicious, although a little cold. I'm sure the staff wouldn't have minded heating it up but my friend and I were fine eating it as is. It was so good that my friend considered driving back afterwards to pick up another one! Parking is easy at this location since it shares it's large parking lot with the plaza that it is in. It is also very accessible by TTC since it's just located at the intersection of York Mills and Bayview.

    Large decaf Americano. $4.

Nice and cozy. Good espresso in their lattes and mochas. Wish hours were a bit longer. Recommend

Had my 90 year old mother and there was no where for her to sit down, and they never offered her a chair. Never offered us a drink or complimentary dessert for our inconvenience. The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.

Overall i think its super cute cafe with great drink and food options. I like their creamy latte over their regular ice latte. But their lemonade is a meh, that you can pass Chocolate croissant is 5/5, salt bread i give it 3/5. Its not bad but i expected it to be crispy like the ones i see on tiktok but the one i had was just a regular bread roll. Yes, i think ill come back!

To access the bakery the entrance is inside the office building so you must enter it first. The interior of this particular location is spacious with plenty of seating to enjoy your purchased goodies. I've heard of Monte Bakery and was excited that they opened a location near my neighbourhood. I stopped by Monte Bakery on a Saturday morning. The place wasn't busy and I was drawn to the display of pastries as I entered. I opted to get 3 pastries (two sweet and one savory). They also have coffee and other beverages for purchase as well as coffee beans from Canadian coffee roasters. Staff were friendly during my interaction with them. For my baked goods, I got the following items: - Earl grey cruffin (earl grey pastry cream and a chocolate ganache) - Sausage boat (beef sausage with parsley, black pepper, mayo, and cheese) - Mango peach blossom (with mascarpone cheese, whipped cream, and graham cracker) All the pastries were delicious! We enjoyed them all and I definitely will return to try more pastries. What a great addition to the neighbourhood. Still is fairly new as it just opened in the area...however, once everyone tries out Monte Bakery they will be back for more.
