Doing reviews during quarantine is difficult! I've ordered Dimo's through Uber eats twice in the last 6 weeks. I love the menu options with fun and clever combinations. The first time I ordered the Mac and cheese pizza. The smaller size is definitely enough for 2+ meals on my own. I was hoping the Mac and cheese pizza would be cheesier. It seemed like plain noodles on top of a cheese pizza instead of cheesy noodles on top of a pizza. It was still tasty, and I still ate it all. The second time I ordered the chicken and waffles pizza. It was much more flavorful than the Mac and cheese pizza. The waffle pieces were really good with fried chicken and I loved the sweet and spicy sauce. I was sad the s'mores pizza was out of stock. After several months of wanting to try Dimo's, we finally took the plunge last night. We are super glad that we did as their pizza is fantastic. We got the pepperoni and sausage along with the cheesy garlic bread. Let's start with the cheesy garlic bread as I actually think that was better than the pizza. The bread was super soft with no shortage of cheese. The garlic stood out and was super flavorful. Certainly nothing wrong with the pizza as the pepperoni was crispy and the sausage was filled with herbs that made it stand out. Will definitely order Dimo's again and hope that you try it soon! read more

Loved this place! We were visiting from out of town for 3 nights and stayed just down the road by Wrigley Field. In those few days, we made a trip to this place twice. The first time we went, we got slices of pepperoni and a slice of their chicken and waffles. All of it was great. The chicken and waffles pizza was obviously a little sweeter then we preferred so I recommend not getting more then one. Oh, and the slices are very large so typically one or two pieces will be sufficient. The second night, admittedly, was in the early morning hours after being out for most of the day having drinks. The line was longer and this was at like 2:30am, but even with that, it moved relatively quickly and we were chowing down on pizza in no time. We will definitely be back! read more

It was hard for me to believe any food coming out of Wrigleyville could be tasty...but Dimo's proved me wrong! I normally get my pie from Jimmy's Pizza Cafe, but they were already closed. I ordered a 20" pepperoni and mushroom ($24) for pick-up at 10pm via the website and it was ready in 20 minutes. The pizza was very similar to NYC style pizza: generous toppings, well salted, and foldable triangles. It is more greasy than I normally would like, but the crust was able to hold it all up. Quality of the ingredients are not as high as the ones Jimmy's uses, but if it's late and this is the only place open between 10pm and 3am ... This will be my new to go spot. Order pizza at 6:40 with estimated delivery at 7:40. At 9:30, order is still not here despite email confirmation at 8:10 that my order was out for delivery with ETA of 8:15. Edit: they made an error with my order in that my ticket was removed from the board but never was taken for delivery. I was notified of this at 9:30. At this point after waiting 3 hours for a pizza and the unappealing offer of a remake of my order + delivery that would take another 30-45 minutes (receiving about 3 and a half hours after I placed the order), I took the refund instead. read more

As a person who has tried many different vegan/dairy free options, this vegan pizza is quite tasty. Good crust, sauce and vegan cheese that melts nice. Still tastes vegan, but it is good! Also their vegan sausage is good too, very flavorful and doesn't have that stale texture that some meatless options can get. read more

Oh my! Get the chicken alfredo pizza! I'm not even a huge chicken alfredo person, but this was great. I was also pretty tipsy by the time the pizza came, but I felt like this one pizza changed my opinion on meal-flavored pizzas/toppings (i.e., chicken wing, mac and cheese, or taco flavors), which I usually avoid because it seems more gimmicky than tasty. The sauce wasn't runny like how I imagined it would be and everything tasted like...chicken alfredo. There were only a few pieces of pasta so it wasn't a bunch of random, bland pasta sitting on top of the pizza, which I liked. It pretty much just had enough toppings to tease you into wanting more. I also tried the sausage pizza, which didn't compare to the almighty chicken alfredo and I found it dry. They even gave me a free super delicious brownie because I had to wait about 10 minutes for my order. The chicken on the pizza tasted very fresh and tender. The only reason I am deducting one star is because I feel that the pizza doesn't stay warm for long when you get it to go, and it's just not the same at home. I've been a couple time and have tried the Philly Cheese Steak, Fettucine Alfredo, BBQ Steak & Fries, and the Chorizo Seitan Taco (vegan). The chorizo taco was a bit too spicy for my taste, but that's my only complaint! I love how it's all thin and the slices are generous. #twicetheslice! There are so many options that it's very hard to choose. Everyone behind the counter are more than happy to tell you about each pizza and answer any questions. I got a punch card my first time and they added an extra punch. How nice is that? If you like pizza and want try some cool combos then Dimo's is a must. This place used to be under another name when I ate here years ago. I am happy that it's still around. I moved out of state a couple years ago and have been craving their pizza for a long time. I finally went back during the World Series games and was hanging out in Wrigleyville. I convinced a couple friends that they HAD to have their pizza. I thought one slice would make me full but I definitely needed two. I had the mac and cheese pizza. I was sad that they didn't have the smores pizza at the time. I ordered before several people behind me and some people ordered the same slice I did. Everyone behind me got their pizza and left while I was just standing there. This is the worst and longest delivery experience I've ever had. I watched the ENTIRE film "Hocus Pocus" and my order still had not been delivered. I placed my order online at 9:47PM, received a text at 10:14PM that they were preparing my order. Now, delivery.com said it would take 60-70 minutes. Well, I received my order at 11:37PM. I always walk pass by and it always smelled great but I never had the chance to try it till today and it my new favorite pizza place in lakeview+wriggley The customer service was amazing, i couldn't decide what I want and asked if they have pep sausage, so they made one for the window on the spot! It also took no time at all! Perfectly cooked, seasoned, just perfect! I haven't had pizza for about 5 months (altho i had cheese sticks with toppings and i dipped in marinara sauce ) but that's not really the same isn't it.
