I was only able to eat one slice (they are huge!) so had the other the next day. One had mac n cheese on it which was unique but tasty and the other was something bbq which was really good. Dimo is pretty alright for a slice of pizza after the ballgame. Came here on a Wednesday night around 845pm. Came in, ordered a couple of slices and had them in my mouth by 9pm. They could have been hotter but I didn't ask for them to be like that and so their default timer is always warm and not hot. It doesn't come with any sauces and I had to go back up to ask for cheese and peppers which came in little containers. They won't be out on the tables so don't be afraid to ask. There were 3 people working as the other 3 employees were sitting down on their break. There are three booths which fit 2-3 people comfortably on each side and about 6 bar stools. So it's a grab and go or a sit and eat quickly so others can sit type of joint. Slices are roughly $4.50 a slice. Anymore and you're better off getting a small pie. They also sell fries. On the wall they had a hall of fame. Basically if you eat a slice of pizza under 90 seconds you get entered into a monthly winnings plus you get your photo on the wall. Be one of the fast people that month and you'll get recognition name recognized too with how fast it took you to eat. In August the fast person downed a slice of pie in 45 seconds. I feel like I could beat that but after all the beer I had, I didn't feel up for it. read more

I have eaten at this place several times. Their pizza is ok, but on the expensive side compared to New York pizza. I received an unprofessional reply back from management, and it was rude. Telling me to look at the grocery store if I'm looking for cheap frozen pizza, they have plenty. With a comment like that, they are just hurting their reputation to others who go there as well. Got the Pep 2.0 in 20" to go and was impressed with just how large the pizza is. Seriously these slices are long and definitely foldable since they're on the thinner side, it'll feed a few people. The crust held up okay for being thinner but our pizza didn't have too many toppings. The ratio of toppings was good but i wish there was more fresh basil. The pizza overall was good - a flavorful sauce, balanced toppings but it needed some more structural integrity and longer in the oven. I do appreciate they provide by the slice and are open late, i'd come here for a late night snack if i was close. I'll try it again but it wouldn't be my first place for pizza in town. read more

The prices are reasonable for the amount you're getting since the slices are huge. Personally, I didn't really like the pizza. The slices are too thin for me and it didn't satiate me like pizza usually does. My boyfriend got a cheese pizza which was pretty standard and I got this pineapple pizza situation (they didn't label the pizzas so I honestly had no idea what that is). It was pretty spicy and the pineapple didn't go well with the cheese and peppers I was under the assumption that it was chicken pieces on there lol. Grabbed their Pep 2.0 pie from the Wrigleyville location and I really enjoyed the crust and toppings. It comes with pepperoni, whipped ricotta, marinara and mozzarella topped with parmesan, fresh basil and orange habanero honey. I added the Italian sausage to mine. This quickly became my favorite place to get pizza by the slice after the first time I went here. It's very casual on the inside, you just order at the counter based on whatever they have sitting out at the time. Even when the line is long, it normally moves pretty fast. I love the east coast style of this pizza and that they always have unique choices (including lots of vegetarian options!!!!). I've gotten a few things from here - one was a white pizza, a veggie slice that had balsamic vinagar on it and another veggie that had tomato and spinach. They were all so amazing & whenever I'm in the area I always make sure to stop by. Another great thing about this place is that the types of pizza they have change, so you never know what they will have when you walk in. That way you'll never get bored of it and can always try something new. Anyways - I LOVE Dimo's and recommend stopping by on your way home from the bars or really any time of day!!!!! read more

I ordered through Uber eats and they have the worst customer service that I've ever dealt with in my entire life! I have worked at restaurants since I was 15 years old. Any time someone is unhappy with anything, I'd always resolve the problem. Uber eats customer service doesn't care if the customer is unhappy or not. For now on, I'll order directly from the restaurant. My pizza was cold and took a long time to arrive! I would have been better off making a frozen pizza. What a gem! Dimo's Pizza serves some of the best pizza slices in Wrigleyville. We have been to Dimo's plenty of times. I can't believe it took me this long to write a review. The staff creates pizza pies and puts the finished products in the showcase. The pizza pies feature vegetarian must have such as the margarita (made with grape tomatoes and spinach), the macaroni, and the classic, pepperoni pizza. The margarita pizza tastes marvelous. Being a a small pizzeria, the place can get crowded easily. Don't let the small place fool you. Customers can eat their slices in the booths that line the wall. Alternatively, they can sit at the barstools near the window. Come and family, friends or even a date. read more

I picked up a couple pizzas from here that I ordered online. I ordered a 12" Pep 2.0 for $19. The pizzas was honestly to small to justify that price, but did taste good. The crust was burnt at the bottom, which was perfect and topped with ricotta, Parmesan, fresh basil and orange habanero honey. Really good pizza, but very pricey. I also ordered their 20" Margherita pizza. This one came at an amazing value for $26. It was huge. A lot bigger than I thought it would be, but just lacked flavor. It came with your traditional Burrata cheese, fresh basil as marinara sauce and then topped with olive oil. It did lack flavor and didn't taste like a traditional margherita pizza should. The crust wasn't as perfectly cooked as the Pep 2.0. Perhaps a more burnt crust would have improved the overall flavor the pizza. Overall Dimos was pretty good. They have some creative pizzas. I would however group Dimos, in the same category as Dominoes and Pizza Hut. Fast food pizza. Except Dimos is serving traditional brick oven pizzas with a little less love. They also offer slices, which is a huge plus if you want to try one of their creative pizzas without investing on a whole pizza. I can definitely see myself returning here. read more

Dimo's is a small local chain, including this Clark Street location which is open later than most places around it. It has pizza either by the slice or whole. Even the slices have a few vegan options, so if you don't want a whole pizza, go light. They also have a few desserts and garlic bread among sides. Better know the menu so you're ready for what they got here. It's pizza of course but there's a few toppings that are unlike anything you've had on a pizza from those chains you usually order. They even have many that are vegan. It's about $16 for a personal. This is still big enough that a couple people could get filled up. For sure this isn't cheap, but it's still better than expected. Most recently we got the Vegan Mexican Pizza. It was like a taco, which seemed odd but good. This was topped with cheese, vegan chorizo, and sliced vegetables. Cheese was plant based cheddar and pepper Jack. This was melty like real cheese and there was a lot, which must cost them a lot, so no wonder why it's as pricy.
