I would give this place no stars but not an option. I ordered 2 chicken souvlakis to go. They said food would be ready in 5 mins. One sandwich order with fries on the side and the other with French fries in the sandwich pita. The portion size was not worth the $17+ dollars charged . They used a mustard plus seems like a sour cream mixture in the sandwiches. What's up with the mustard ??? No fries given on the side or in the pita. Definitely not "Greek" food . One of the employees was super rude at that. I believe in social distancing but greeting was " the food is over there" . No hello or anything . Will not be going back. Poor quality food! read more

I wanted to pick up some lunch and Greek felt like what I was in the mood for after reading some of the reviews. I ordered chicken souvlaki but they were out and stated I would have to wait 15 min for the next batch to come out. Instead I got the chicken skewer platter, grilled veggie platter, and the falafel platter. Since I wanted both the tzatziki and hummus, I ended up paying extra. The total for 3 people to eat ended up being $51 which was pricey. I didn't like that the sauce/hummus was packed separately because there were so many little containers in total. It would have been nice to just have them scooped into the platter instead. It would be easier to then be able to eat right out of the to-go container. The food was delicious! And the side salads were very good too. Tastes fresh. The people working there don't seem to be very efficient, but they were all friendly. read more

My wife and I were craving traditional Greek food. We looked online and saw this amazing place with great reviews so we decided to try it out. We came all the way from White Plains for their food and we're so happy about our choice! It's a family owned business where they make you feel welcome and are so helpful. I am so disappointed with my DoorDash order from this resturant that I feel compelled to write a review. I don't really know where to start. I saw this resturant on my recommended list on Door Dash and being a big fan of Greek food,decided to help support a local restaurant. I ordered and when I received my food I was truly disappointed and angry that I had paid over 50 dollars for what I received. Let's begin with the salad. I ordered Greek Salad which was $16.95. In the menu picture, it was served with eight pieces of chicken. I got none. The salad was very small and although was of good quality was not anything special that I could not get at half the price from my local Greek Restaurant. I then ordered two sticks of Pork Souvlaki, one chicken stick (apart from the one that came with the salad) and one Biftekki (think Greek meatball) for about 7.95 per stick. All of the sticks were so dry that I had to sip water in order to get the food down. For each stick, I received four pieces of meat total. Other Greek places usually give you eight to ten pieces on two sticks. I am not going to bother describing how the Beftekki was but let me just say it arrives burnt to a crisp and was inedible. I received a credit from Door Dash as a result. I am sorry to pan this resturant because I understand that it is a family business. I really wanted to like it. I just felt ripped off. read more

The food here is good. We got food regularly from this place. Hands down their gyros are good. We have been ordering their Gyro kits throughout the pandemic supporting local spots. Ordered the same kit again last weekend was told the price went up from the $25. I called in my order so said no problem as they said it was now $30. Very reasonable markup. Got to store to pickup and get a bill of $80 as I had ordered other items but shouldn't be that high. When the two ladies in store checked they saw the POS was charging $60 for the kit. I said that I have bought it before several times . She also was confused because she quoted me the $30 on phone. She called the owner (as she was confused as well) who from what I could tell from their conversation was telling her that it was never $25 (got plenty of bills to support that) and would not honor the price that his staff quoted. I understand a price hike but from $25 to $60. In the end I paid $50 for it as had hungry people at home she did not charge me for the 3 extra gyro. While I like their food found this very unprofessional to not support your staff. Food =A-, Staff =A Management=F hence the low stars. Very disappointing. read more

GOOD LAWD this place has great food. We were looking for some Friday night take-out and were walking by the door when we got a whiff of something delicious. We got the lamb special with eggplant and-wow.. tender, fresh & perfect. Also, desserts were traditional and did not disappoint. The service was awesome too. My family has lived in Harrison forever and love gyros so when we found out one had opened in town we were very excited to try it out and hoped it was good. I don't live in Harrison anymore but visit them when I can. Parking on the street may be difficult but they have a big parking lot in the back for all the businesses in the area. When you walk in they have a pretty nice interior with alot of light and nice paitings on the wall of Greece. The owner was to the left was counting up receipts and money around lunchtime when I went which was odd but I think it added to the family owned business feel. The wife (?) and some workers were super busy behind the food counter getting pitas grilled and other things so took some time to actually order, there was one person in front of me. When I did order she was friendly and I am glad she took the time to explain how they did their gyros cause I asked about the fries in the gyro because we did not want that. During this time she had mentioned a honey/mustard sauce and I said definitely no, just the tzatziki sauce. They also added a slightly peppery powder on top which I probably would have preferred not being on there. However, the gyro was really good so packed with meat, I have never had one with so much meat but that is an good thing. Good cost too at $8. The pita and other ingredients were super fresh (you can see from the food counter pic). Also got two orders of plain fries ($4 each) and they were tasty but had a different texture to them. This could be a special Greek style of fries as they do also serve them with crumbled feta and oregano if you order that. Can't say I loved the texture and taste of them but they were good and I am sure many people love them, just preference. Overall good place and we will definitely be back for our Gyro fix, especially being right in town. They also have specials every day that changes, that Friday was a roasted lamb leg which I would have loved to have tried. They also look like they have some nice desserts. read more

I stopped into Dimitris a few months back to grab a bite to eat. It has been life changing!!! We have a large order delivered each week to our office and there has yet to be a complaint! The food is delicious, the service is phenomenal and the friendship formed is a blessing. I sometimes think we may be their favorite customers.
