    Spicy Mushroom Dumpling ($6.95)

Clean restaurant, seating for around 20 people, and ordering kiosks make ordering pretty easy. Food is good, and so is the quantity. Menu felt slightly on the expensive end though. Got the Shrimp and Pork Wonton Noodle Soup ($14.50), Shu Mai ($7.75), Spicy Mushroom Dumpling ($6.95), and Chicken Lo Mein ($18.95). Food arrived within 20 mins even though they were busy on a Sunday afternoon.

Clockwise from top: turnip cake, roast pork rice roll, lotus leaf sticky rice, shumai

I've been ordering from Dim Sum Sam's other locations for years. It was my first time ordering from this fairly new location. I chose to order from here this time because they offer a bit more selection. Everything was on par with what I expected with slight modifications. The turnip cake & lotus sticky rice were the only things I've never had from other locations and they were good. The shumai was slightly under seasoned but the quality was still on par. Overall, a great experience. Will def order or stop by in the future.

New to the neighborhood. Been meaning to try this spot. Love the signage, take away and table option. Service was super friendly and surprisingly quick. Lunch special options daily until 3 which is nice. Ordered roast pork over rice and soy sauce chicken over rice. Good size portions. Also added dim sum to lunch. Hargow, spring roll and pork/chives dumplings. Glad to see the addition to the hood.

Really nice staff, chill clean environment, reasonable and diverse menu. My absolute favorite was the turnip cake with duck, which was crispy in on the outside and fluffy on the inside with tasty morsels of crunchy veggies and savory meat, with a nice sweet sauce. The quarter roast duck was very flavorful too, with a yummy crispy skin, lots of cartilage to avoid which is typical but not my favorite. The peking duck often doesn't have this problem but it is a price bump. The egg and corn rice noodle rolls were tasty and came with bok choy, but could have used more flavor and a spicy sauce. Great spot to fuel up on the go.

Vegetarian so these were a couple of my options. The buns were tasty and the scallion pancakes were great too! Tiny little place with sweet workers :-)

Portions are large, enough for at least two meals. Sometimes roast pork is overdone and duck a bit oily put tasty.

An absolutely amazing lunch. I felt lucky I got a table because the place was packed. Came back the next day with a colleague for dinner. Tried the spicy beef dumplings, pork dumplings, the ribs and honey chicken. Another great meal. However, I also realized that I used to eat at the restaurant in Flushing when it was in the original location on Prince street across from the parking lot near the Sheraton. Those were always my favorite soup dumplings and naturally, they still are!!!! I can't believe how they are expanding all over the place.

The soup dumplings were the highlight--delicate wrappers, incredibly juicy filling, and that rich, flavorful broth inside every bite. We tried several dishes and honestly enjoyed everything. The cucumber salad was crisp and refreshing, the dim sum was excellent, and you can tell there is real attention to quality and consistency here. The atmosphere is modern and lively, and the whole experience felt special without being overly formal.

Did a take out/delivery order from Dim Sum Sam…read more Plenty of options to select from for take out/delivery. The roast pork rice bowl looked good from the choices on the menu so decided to select that. For $15 it was a good deal as the roast pork and rice itself was plentiful and filling esp if one is hungry. Definitely had enough sauce which was good. Came with 1/2 egg which was nice. Food order and delivery from GHub was pretty quick esp since there was no specific time just asap (only downside of ordering via an app). However, food did stay warm. Will have to go there to dine... but will order again.

It's pretty spacious so large parties can easily fit as well. Open till 12:30am so it's pretty obvious this spot just slaps. Value, opening hours, ambiance, convenience, all of that adds up to be one of my favorite spots on a New York adventure. Dim Sum Combo A - a little bit of everything makes up this set, perfect for two people to share especially. This really has all the classics including har gow, siu mai, XLB, and egg tarts plus some extra goodies. Will say there are (obviously) better tasting pieces out there but these aren't low quality at all. I've had much worse and each item hit the spot. Choy Sum w/ Oyster Sauce - no green beans so we settled for some other greens and fiber. Nutritious, juicy, healthy, cannot complain here. Crispy Pork Belly - Not a bad price for the amount, great crispy skin on top with the typical balance of fat and meat. This one also hit the spot perfectly, even if not our favorite or best, the price and value cannot be beat while satisfying cravings.

I was browsing for places with scallion pancakes and I came across this restaurant. I saw they had a scallion pancake beef rook which I'd never seen before. It was fried and crispy on the inside with tender beef on the inside, that was slightly savory slightly sweet. I had the roll on its own, which made for a light meal, but it can also be enjoyed as a large snack. It was a little greasy, which can be expected, but not sure if I'd get it again. I did think it was innovative though. The most impressive thing about the restaurant was actually the space. I came to pick up my food and was surprised to see this beautiful place. The outside is unassuming and nothing special but inside has the aesthetic of an old Shanghai restaurant. It's ornate and slightly quirky. It's also really big, bigger than I expected. Even the bathrooms had traditional Chinese flare with the sliding doors. Definitely worth checking out,

It's also nicely decorated, which makes you feel like you're in China. It's definitely for a younger crowd with how loud this place gets. We had a huge party, so we ordered an array of dishes to share family style. Some of the most memorable dishes were the Mapo Tofu ($13.99), Hutaoli Roast Chicken ($43 for whole), Spicy Pot Potato ($19), Roasted Green Beans ($22), etc. All of the food is good, but definitely pricey. While the food also came out quickly, our drinks came out towards the end of our meal. It's a good spot for big parties as it never got too busy even on a Saturday night. They also have private rooms. The live music was fun, but also made it hard to have conversation.
