Hand-pulled noodles are one of my favorite dishes of all time. I ordered the traditional with chicken and wide noodles. The noodles were the perfect chewy texture and the flavor really hit the spot. I've had hand pulled noodles before and it was so flavorful. So coming back years later was definitely cool. I went around 9pm. They close at 10pm. I ordered Curry stir fry noodles with Jackfruit, scallion pancakes , and a mango tea. I really enjoyed the noodles , they were so delicious and flavorful and addicting. I saved some for lynx for the next day at work haha. The scallion pancakes were pretty salty and honestly not my fave. The mango tea was tasty as hell! Delicious noodle dishes. I got the traditional with biang biang noodles mid-spicy and added an extra special sauce for $.50. My friend got the scallion noodle dish with pork and thick noodles. He added extra bok choy and sauce. These are build your own dishes which started at $15 but ended about $19 each. I don't recommend getting the extras (except special sauce) because the dishes themselves are plenty enough. One of these dishes could have actually fed both of us. They were both very tasty and filling. The noodles cooked perfectly and so yummy. I will definitely go back to try the cumin spicy, one of their specialty noodle dish and soups. Solid spot for noodles, I got the dapan niu from a friend's suggestion and even though was recommended the chopped ribbon noodles, stuck with the classic ribbon and I'm glad I did. There's something so satisfying about the long squishy noodles, they went really well with the rich stewy sauce and tender chunks of beef. Although the flavors were there, they were ok. I think it's better to dine in on the spot. The time I got home, they were all stuck together, and they began to break, and that just changed the whole experience. The place is really small inside, but it gave a very intimate vibe. You were able to sit at countertop tables nestled up near the wall and by a window. The service was great. The guy who took my order was pleasant and explained the selection of noodles to me. For around $20 i got this big box of noodles and each bit was packed with so many different spices and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I got medium spice but my friends got mild and loved it too. They have different types that are served either whole or chopped, along with an excellent variety of meats, soups, and other dishes. You can also adjust the amount of heat with the dish ( I prefer medium ). The location on West 44th Street is so convenient to the theater where I perform, and the service I'd always good to great. The restaurant is relatively small with mostly metal stools and table built into the walls. Most of the time I've gone in, I've been able to get a seat and enjoy my noodle dish, along with a scallion pancake ( also yummy ). When it opened a while back, I came here many times and the noodles were amazing! Recently, I found out I can't eat gluten and stopped going. However, I found out that they offer gluten-free options one being sweet potato noodles and honestly you can't tell the dish is gluten-free. First Impressions: N/A ordered to-go, two nights in a row. The Noms: Curry stir fry with #2 pressed noodles - got it medium spicy. The sauce and flavor was great. I initially meant to get the #1 noodles, but it was too late to change it. Noodles are good, reminds me of lo mein noodles but with a firmer texture. This is my favorite flavor so far. Traditional stir fry with Lagman hand pulled noodles - got it medium spicy and it was almost too spicy! Still good though. The noodle texture was bouncy and firm and a joy to eat My only gripe is that the to-go orders have all the meat (I chose chicken both times) at the very bottom of the take out container and it's super hard to get to it (noodles very thick, heavy and plentiful!). If I was at home, I'd dump it in a bowl and mix it myself... but both nights I ordered to deliver at work so it was difficult to eat with all the protein on the bottom. If I could make a gentle suggestion to mix the protein throughout the noodles in the boxed container. Other than that, very good and satisfying!! In Conclusion: 10/10 would recommend again. I mean...
